As a female mariner, its hard to find great support, but Beaumont Seafarers was amazing! I stopped in about 8 years ago (yup its been a while), and was given two or three care packages for women. Two of the boxes contained a hand-knitted scarf and a hand-knitted beanie, both of which I still have! Thanks to the ladies who made those items and put together the care boxes, and thanks to the Seafarers center for me feel welcome!!!
