The man who answered their national phone number said I needed to enter my credit card number on the automated phone system because of the Covid pandemic. Immediately after doing that, he came back on the line and asked me for the expiration date to my card. Then my card was immediately charged $1.00 at an Acura auto dealership in Westmont, Illinois, even though I live in Texas and did not authorize that! So, I had to immediately cancel my credit card. When I offered to pay the Tech in my home with a paper check, he said he was waiving the fee because he didnt do anything to help my refrigerator (the defroster seems to be out), but then I received 6 alerts by email that Sears tried to charge that credit card number 6 times for the service fee. Now, Im stuck with disruption to my credit card (due to the unauthorized charge to Acura), an unpaid service fee, and the remaining broken ice box. This is a terrible experience!

The African-American man who came kept me informed and was willing to look at my oven, as well as fix the wash machine and give me tips on the maintenance of wash machinge. I was very satisfied with the time he took and overall expertise.

Our Repairman replaced our compressor to our kenmore elite grab n go refrigerator. The replacement was a handful but our repairman kept calm and carried on. I don’t think he finished until after 9:30pm. I am happy to say we are up and running again

I highly recommend not using their service. First they cancelled our appointment then the next day when our they showed up for our appointment they sent someone out to see if we had the parts, not fix the refrigerator! The guy who came out said he could not fix the refrigerator. How stupid is that! LG had already mailed us the part. And now we are having difficulty getting another appointment. Don’t utilize their services.

Took off work early to be available for the 3PM-6PM appointment. NO CALL, NO TEXT, NO EMAIL...3 hours later I called the support # and was told youre next, the technician will contact you very soon. 3 MORE HOURS LATER, 9PM I called back & was told by the overseas call center they could not give any reason why because the tech left no notes... RULE #1 IS COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FREAKIN CUSTOMER. Sears is already a sinking ship, and you guys just drilled another hole in the hull...

Our technician. Mike, was so VERY mannerly to my hubs & I.Upon completion of the repair, the 18 year old washer runs soquietly, its as if it were brand new!But with all brand new parts, I guess maybe it SHOULD!! lolWeve had the Maintenance Agreement on 5 appliances & one Riding lawn mower, since 1999. We will be purchasing a new freezer & adding it to the plan soon.Our Sears Repair Rating: A+

Technician didnt arrive within the scheduled window. Didnt call to let me know he was running late. When he finally arrived, he performed the job well and was knowledgeable. Then when paying by credit card, he swiped my card twice, I got charged twice. Didnt realize it until I saw the charge clear my bank a couple days later. Tried calling back Sears, got a hold of someone who couldnt speak clear English and couldnt help me. She transferred me to another phone number to someone else who couldnt help me. In general, while the work was completed satisfactorily, the customer service is AWFUL. Hence the 3 star review. I wont use this company again.

The technician was very friendly, and made me comfortable to have him in my home. It took him a while to track down the problem, but he finally found the issue, which was rather hidden, saving me a more expensive repair that wasnt needed. It was only because he was familiar with this model machine that he knew to look for that hidden broken wire. Now my washer is working perfectly again.

Dryer was repaired same day as service call. Repairman was professional and Fixed several problems with my dryer at time of call. No ordering parts, no Ill be back in three days, job complete ! I would recommend this repairman and plan to request him if repairs required in the future

I was not home at the time of repair, but my daughter was here and she said they were very helpful. They went right to work and had my washer back in great shape in no time. They also explained to her what happened to the washer and answered her questions.

Technician was great . Sears service on the other hand was horrible. I am done with purchasing appliances from Sears. Washing machine was out for over 4 weeks. Spent hours on phone supposedly trying to diagnose the problem, didnt work. Lady said all these notes in your file so tech knows what to expect. Tech shows no clue what he is even there for.(Not his Fault). All they ever say is we dont come out that way much its out of the way. Well why not tell me that before you take my money for the item, and the extended warranty. Sears SERVICE SUCKS! It made me give 1 star to post ..

The repair was done correctly. However, the technician failed to re-make 3 electrical connections under the top of the washer. So there was no power when we tried to run the washer the next day.That service technician was unavailable; the contractor Sears hired was unavailable; Sears offered an ADDITIONAL five day waiting period to send another technician.In addition the LG help line was pretty useless in diagnosing the problem given no power to the washer: after check the outlet the next step was call a technician to your home.

Worst repair service ever. Dishwasher has been out over 5 weeks now and still not repaired. Have to call an out of country call center and they understand nothing of which you try to explain. This is the 2nd dishwasher from Sears. 1st one was replaced because they couldnt get parts for it anymore after trying to get it fixed for over 6 weeks. Paid extra to get a better replacement and less than a year, it has gone out! Still under warranty but think it might be better to cut my loss and go buy another somewhere else. Do not buy an appliance from Sears!

I scheduled this appointment to fix a bad timer on a washer. The tech came out as scheduled, and ordered a part. The part came and another tech came back and installed it, but the part was bad. I called ahead of time and told them not to send out a tech without bringing the part, but that message apparently did not get through, so time was wasted sending the tech out, and all he did was order the correct part.The technicians are great--the know their stuff, and are friendly and polite. The system is lousy, though. They did not communicate my message, and the telephone system is a hassle to try to get to a live person (I do not talk to machines). The website claims that you can change appointments online, but there is no link where that can be done, and when you do get to the site the place to change appointments isnt obvious.Shorter: Good techs, but lousy support systems.

The store wasnt bad at all, my main thing is I had a problem with my high wheel trimmer, I couldnt get much information. I was told to bring it to them, then I was sent to drop it off at another place, and my weed eater is new, and its been in the shop for 4weeks. Wanted to get my money back, called the customer care, waited 30mins, then had to be transferred and had to wait again just to say it was passed my 30day warrenty. Thought craftsman had better warrentys.

My appointment was for Thursday November 10th, 2016. The technician called to say he would be at my home between 3PM and 5PM. At around 3:30 PM He called only to make excuses and refuse to come out and fix my range. After talking to him he swore he made my appointment for November 15th but he lied it was for November 21st. I had to do a lot of calling around to get that straighten out.I finally got the appointment for November 15th only for the same guy to show up and do nothing. I dont know if he didnt like to technician that came before him or what. But he didnt change any of the parts even after they were all ordered. Im so disgusted with Sears. I will probably never do business with them again!!!I have been with Sears for more than 15 years. My family has been purchasing from Sears since the 1960s. I absolutely abhor the service that I get from Sears from the telephone customer service reps to mostly all of the Service Technicians. Its ridiculous whats happening with Customer Service these days.I only chose 1 star rating because I couldnt find ZERO!!!

They absolutely stink. My wife and me bought a new washer and dryer $1500.00, in 06-2016 with a extended service contract, and cant use either one. Have had 8 plus service calls, on both washer and dryer and both still do not work, the dryer, which we paid for delivery and hook up, almost caught my house on fire, the old guy who came to look at it, said it was hooked up incorrectly, by their delivery team caused it to short out, and said they did not cover cords, even though they hooked it up incorrectly. I have contacted Sears management several times for a refund, and they said no. I have since filed a BBB complaint against them, and they are still not doing anything.DO NOT BUY YOUR APPLIANCES THERE, OR EXTENDED WARRANTY, THEY WILL NOT FIX OR HONOR FACTORY, OR EXTENDED WARRANTY. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS OR SERVICE. THEY DONT HONOR THE FACTORY WARRANTY OR EXTENDED WARRANTIES, DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS. DO NOT BUY FROM BANKRUPT SEARS.

The first technician that came out said the washing machine was good the second technician that came out said it was the drain pump the third technician that came out said it was the computer chip he was supposed to come back today August 18th between 9 oclock and 10 o clock and it is now 4:52 and I have not heard from him my washer has not been fixed

If I could put zero stars I would. I called the number to set this up. It goes to some call center in India where everyone I spoke to speaks horrid English. He took my card number and said someone would be out between 12-5 on a certain day. Mind you this first call took an hour to do. Goodness. Anyway I took off work and waited all day. No one ever came. I left to do kid functions and my husband calls me around 630 saying some guy at my house. I was like what? It was almost 7! I come home and my husband says he put in a part, it blew, then didnt have another. Nothing was written down or anything. Partly my husbands fault on not asking more. He said guy had my number. This was Friday. Didnt hear from guy as he told my husband next day. Or even couple days later. I get a text from the man supposedly at my house saying he talked to other techs and etc. I text him back just needing honest answer if this was the problem and is it fixable vs pouring another 200 bucks in it. No response. A part arrives at my house next day. A thermostat. I try reaching the man inquiring about it no response. Still no response. I called the place my husband wrote check to and they dont contract with sears here. He must have been from Houston she states. Said this is the norm more than not and she wouldnt have recommended them based on this. Ill be calling bbb next and going further. There was horrid communication with all this. Plus sending am employee out that late is so ridiculou . It may have been the guys own fault. Who knows, but just completely unprofessional all arouND and in the end it made me concerned for my safety it was so fishy. I would not recommend calling sears if your appliance breaks.

Your tech never showed up and signed off on the ticket saying complete, then trying to deal with your people on the phone all the rest of the day was horrible and didnt get anywhere, just told we will reschedule for 11/6/17, no choices. Sears customer service is terrible. This isnt the first time I have had lot of trouble with them. I guess well see what happens today.
