I went in for a fill and I had Cindy, #11. The shape of the nails wasnt how I wanted it done, Im not a fan of shapes like this and since I work with money, this shape will make it a little difficult to grab change. I wanted square with rounded edges. I wanted a shiny silver tips and the design on the ring finger is how I wanted but it does have flaws. I had to tell her multiple times how I wanted silver tips and she still didnt do it, but I was there from 10am to 11:40am and I didnt have the time for her to correct it since I had to be at work by noon. Besides, if she didnt understand silver on the tip of the nails the first 4 times I said it, she probably wouldnt have done it the way i wanted anyways. It is not perfect at all so I paid $42 and walked away. I still left her a tip for her time. I might give this place another chance but with another nail technician.

Andy was great. He provided pertinent information regarding healthy nail care and was meticulous in applying the white polish required for my French manicure. I was visiting from Arizona and needed to have my dipped, nail extensions redone. I have a medical condition with one nail which required special attention. Andy was knowledgeable, professional and a true nail artist.

Fast service, rarely any waiting. Very friendly staff and they can do all sorts of cute things. I really love the magnetic polish but moat recently they gave me beautiful wedding nails

I say a 3 because Ive had some good nail jobs here. But this last one, was atrocious. The guy wouldnt even tell me his name because he knew Id be complaining. Said his name was Cassanøva 🙄 seriously? I kept waiting for him to fix his clear mistakes but he never did...

Walked in to get my nails done and only waited a brief time. Hugh was great with recommendations and even did a pedicure with me. Great service and products for the money.

Got here nail tech said only 20-30 minutes waited 45 finally asked how much longer it was another hour.....I could have been in and out of crystal nails by then. No one has time for this and there are to many other nail salons for this. Also last time I was there there were ridges on my nails but they were supposed to be faster never again

I have been informed that World Nails does not take appointments. So I decided to arrive 30 minutes early at 11:30am to wait to grab a number. With arriving 30 minutes early I was to pull the next ticket and still be number 10th in line. I am currently still waiting to get my nails done and it is 1:02pm, two ladies have walked in before any of us with a “special” appt even though they do not take appointments which is strange. I am beyond irritated and always tip VERY well, this is beyond the worst nail salon in the area! And the staff does not care at all about our complaints.

My 2 daughters & I went for pedicures. We all got seated at the same time and the nail technicians that helped us were very friendly and good natured. They also did an excellent job on our nails! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The service was awesome. No. 7 V did a great job on my acrylic nails. I said i wanted them short and they are exactly the length I wanted. She took her time and didnt make me feel rushed. I am going back for sure.Update. I went back again. This time #11 Cindy did awesome job. My nail art is super cute too.

The have a # system, but never go in order! Customers are definitely treated like they dont matter!

I was told a full set of acrylics would cost $41 but was charged $55. I did get ombre but she did not let me know that it would be extra. On a few of my nails the edges are jagged & lifting up. The seal is not secure. Also my nails just do not look good. After tip I paid $61 which is a lot to pay for nails that do not even look good & are lifting up.

The girl who did my nails didnt make my nails look the same on both hands. One hand is suqare and the other is more round. She ended up hurting my one finger more by using a tool I asked her not to use because I broke that nail. They are over priced for the quality of work they do. They charge 7$ for HD or what they call special nail polishes. Dont waist your time or money.

I got my nails done and gave a fifth and it was 40 and she never gave me my money and the other lady did my nails and the plain hasn’t stopped it hurts so bad

I made an appointment for a pedicure at noon. Didn’t get started until 12:40. While waiting I watched people walk in after me and get taken to a chair while I was still waiting! This has happened every time I make an appointment and it’s infuriating. Don’t waste your time coming here. Go to 5 Star.

This was my first visit to world nails and I was disappointed that after calling to make an appointment for 3 pedicures, we were just told to take a number and wait 30 minutes after arriving at our appointment time.I requested a gel pedicure because Im very active and generally train jiu-jitsu 12 to 14 hours per week. On average, a gel pedicure lasts me 5-6 weeks before any polish begins to come off. With this gel pedicure, I am much less active during the pandemic because most of my classes are canceled and I have only trained 6 hours per week but within 1½ weeks, the gel polish had already come off of 4 of my toes. This has never happened with any other pedicure, even with regular, non-gel polish! Very disappointing😕

The worst! The lady clearly thought I was super young and didn’t care to do a good job. These nails were for a wedding I was in, she thought I was maybe just graduating (after never saying anything to me, she finally asked how old I was towards the end after I seen how bad they were turning out. Her face told it all when I told her 22 and that they were for a wedding) They turned out HORRENDOUS. So bad that I had to go DIRECTLY from world nails to another salon to get them redone. I will not be back, I shouldn’t have paid but I did. $45 just to walk over to the next salon to have someone redo them. I am so disappointed. She was the last station in the first row. Couldn’t even get her name, barely got a hello.Also, if you can’t do the simple nails people ask for. Don’t throw a key ring of nails at them and say “choose from these” and walk away.

My girlfriend went to get her nails done and they messed up we went in there 3 times to get them fixed, they kept on chipping so wr asked for the bosses number and then gave me wrong number for the boss.

I have been a customer here since it opened over 10 years ago. While I have had one experience where I wasnt totally satisfied, it was many years ago. I make appointments, which is the best thing to do especially during a busy season like homecoming, prom, Christmas, Easter, summer. I recommend Mimi, Jennifer, Norma, Vie, Nina, Cindy, Jessica. They have all been there for some time and do great work. I have not had any of the other employees do my nails so have no knowledge of their expertise. All staff are friendly and they know their customers!

I had Jess. She was very professional and friendly. I had a nail that needed to come off and she was very gentle! Her design skills are great as well. Ive never had designs in my nails and if I ever get them again shell be the one to do it for me.

They do great work and they have a lot of workers there unlike other places so there is rarely a long wait.

She cut my nails too short, wanted to put florescent green under the dark green glitter one and when I asked if she could put a darker one under the glitter she said there wasnt any and I seen a whole row of them and pointed and asked what about those she said you go get, I know that I will never go back there again. She also was grabbing my big toe with her thumb nail so hard that she left bruses. I have never had my toe nails done in the state of Michigan except for this time. She was so rude. Shes did many more things but I will be here forever writing it down. Next time I will have them done in Georgia and I live in Michigan.

Unfortunately Im unhappy with the turn out of my finger nails and toe nails. Definitely over priced and took a very long time.

Made an appointment on my lunch break for 6pm Monday. Got there at 530 pm and gave up waiting at 650 when they still had not called me, had me pick a color or anything. They were talking random walk ins without appointment but 4 other people had 6 pm appointments and they didnt seem to care. I know we are just getting back to normal but no apology no please pick your color nothing. I will not go back i will not give them my money, what a waste of my time.

My 4 yr old daughter and I went there for pedicures. Not even an hour after we left her nail polish started peeling off her fingers and toes. They weren’t very friendly. 60.00 later and I had to buy nail polish and repaint her toes and fingers. Will not go back.

Nail tech wasnt super personable, but she did an adequate job. I only got shellac on my natural nails. Theyre bumpy and uneven but the color looks okay.

Got my nails done and the next day the paint peeled right off my nail. And I have an air bubble on another one. I told her it was my first time getting them done there and they end up doing that. (Update)- now all on my nails have air bubbles smh

Ive been going to World Nails in Bay City for at least ten years. I love the services, and all the technicians are excellent. Other nail salons have been dreadful in comparison. World Nails is fast, professional, and my nails always look fantastic.

If I could put zero stars I would! I have been to this place many times throughout my life and Ive never been fully satisfied! The ONLY reason I come back is because they are open late. Dont waste your time making an appointment because they deal more with walk ins and its first come first serve! You can tell this place is only worried about money and could care less about their customers. The last time I was there I got my gel nails removed so I could get a fresh set and when the guy was using finger nail clippers to cut off the remaining nail he literally took a huge chunk of nail and skin from the middle of my finger nail which of course was bleeding and didnt even acknowledge it and put new products over it while using dirty equipment! This place is a complete last resort and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Go to 5 star nails they are amazing and always do a great job!

I have always had a horrible experience when getting my nails done, but I finally decided to allow someone to do my nails again and I decided to go to world nails and I had never been happier. The design they did on my nails waa super cute! A jack o latern and then a spiderweb for Halloween! Very pleased with my experience.

The manager, Jennifer is very wishy washy with her appointments. Ive been getting my nails done here for years and I have never been treated as rudely as I was by her on my last visit. I was very upset since Id been a customer with her for a long time. She should not be allowed to treat customers poorly just because she is in management. She may have lost her store a customer for this.
