This is a common complaint I hear from multiple other foster moms, that had to work with these 2 people before. Therefore, it is not just my opinion. They dont do what is in the best interest of the child, being my main concern! They do what is financially best for the company, and stated that out loud, with no opprobrium. Aside from the colossal unprofessionalism, they present in their words & actions, they lack the knowledge & empathy of a parent or mom, because they are not parents/moms. They are very judgmental, prejudice, & extremely rapacious. As a foster moms we feel that, Michelle & Kathy, need quite a few lessons on how to be/act professional. We over heard them voicing their personal opinions about a different cases multiple times. Once when we first met, in my home, where we had other family members present, that knew the people they were talking about. If it wasnt a family member I was trying to help, I would have just decided not to work with them. But because they were the only option in Bay City, MI, we had no choice. Unfortunately when we called to complain, we were answered with: Right now, we dont have enough staff to cover what children we do have. So we will have to continue working with them at this point.

I know this place, organization and employees and board who runs the place.. I love them all.. I was an employee.. and I loved all I met and those whom I just spoke to on my phone.. They are Gods hand, eyes, feet and just all in with what is Gods directing and I believe one of the best organizations, people oriented and that they continue this way for about 100+ years.. I am proud to have been one of them and have retired from this group with a small, but thriving pension.. I did not know about it until I retired and decided to just go relax after nearly 18 years with the LCFS of MI - Lutheran Home .. a great and wonderful memory I have of all I experienced there as the Program Secretary..
