This place is by far the best Auto repair shop Ive ever been to. My transmission in my 2007 BMW 328I went bad, and I gave up hope because the lowest quote to put a new one in was 8000$ and thats more then my cars even worth! Long story short, Zaharions diagnosed my car, and gave me a quote of 1800$ Im truly thankful because I thought I was going to need a new car, but now I get to keep the car I love.

We had an emergency and they are the first auto shop that willingly took our car in to look at it even though they’re super busy. Very nice receptionists and workers. The owner John is super nice. We had to wait over an hour and he offered us whatever we needed. Totally would recommend and probably come back if needed to.

Highly recommend, these guys are much friendlier and more personable than your local chain shop! I unexpectedly need to take my car on a 1K mile drive and they squeezed me in last minute to check out everything which I greatly appreciate. It’s also always nice when a mechanic will walk you under the car to look at the problems yourself. I feel so much better knowing what to keep an eye on and can generally have peace of mind on my trip while planning for some replacements/repairs when I get home. Great service and incredibly helpful.

When NO ONE else in Battle Creek would help me they did. The owner explained they were busy but he would look at my truck and let me know whats wrong. No other shop would help like that when that was all I asked for. He even did the diagnosis at no charge. WHAT AN AMAZING BUSINESS!!!! Cant say enough good things about this auto shop. Professional, direct, and honest - fair/true pricing. I had a complete brake failure driving from Chicago back to Detroit and they moved me up to the front of their line to fix immediately. Friendly service, clean, and the waiting room is designed like a log cabin with ample space - great for kids with couches and a tv, not just a sterile body shop lobby. Genuinely wish they were in Detroit as I would make them my go-to auto shop!

Really hospitable, kind - we were stranded on our way across the state and they took us even though all the shops in the area were overloaded. I was from out of town when my car broke down on the interstate about 5 miles from their shop, and required towing. I called a couple places before I decided where to take it. I choose Zaharions because they were friendly, knowledgeable, upfront, and said they would do what they needed to to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. After it took 3hrs for the tow truck to get to me, they stayed late to do a once over and get an idea of what they would need to do to fix my vehicle, and they gave me an estimate of the work so I knew what to expect. They didnt feed me a bunch of BS or try and rake me for more hours, knowing that I was stranded in their town it would have been easy to do. The next day they gave me timely updates as to the status of my vehicle, and I waited in their very comfortable lounge for several hours (Im stranded remember and PS there is only one Lyft driver in Battle Creek). Overall, the shop was clean, the staff was friendly, the repair was quick, and the price was fair for the work and parts that were needed. Lastly, I didnt feel like I was a burden or being penalized(paying more) for needing a quick repair. Overall I highly recommend them.

I was referred to Zaharions from my mechanic because I was looking to buy a vehicle from a private seller that was located in Battle Creek and I live too far away. My initial phone call was with the owner, John Zaharion, who was professional and easy to talk to. I was looking for him to take a look at the vehicle and give his opinion on the work it would take to get it in good running order. I had no idea how much it would cost or how long it would take, not to mention if he could fit me in when he was already very busy. I called on a Friday and he said any afternoon the following week would work which was great for me. I took the vehicle to them and was greeted by friendly faces and John acted like we were old friends and took interest in what I needed. He offered for me to wait in their waiting room which was cozy and comfortable. After a short wait (like 15 minutes) he took me back to discuss the vehicle while it was up on the hoist and educated me on what the issues were and what cost would be involved. Before we even got to that point the thing I noticed first was how clean the shop was. This is a big shop and a lot going on but that garage was spotless. Maybe not everyone cares about stuff like that but it showed me that hes not afraid of people coming back there and that he has respect for his business, his employees and his customers. He gave me some great information and in the end wouldnt even take a dime for the time he had invested. Maybe this is common place in the industry but I was blown away. Its hard to find customer service these days and with everything going on in the world it was a pleasure to meet John and his team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I will be using this repair shop as long as possible. They are honest and back that up by not making you pay for something they didn’t fix. Zaharians is amazing! I was treated with the utmost respect, and allowed into the garage to see the damage my car had endured! The waiting area has plush Sofas that you will not want to get up from. This place makes the grimy chain businesses that reek of grease seem intolerable!

The amount of knowledge and honesty about what is going on with your vehicle is unlike any other place I’ve ever taken any of my vehicles. I have been taking my vehicles to John and the gang for years and have spent thousands on work, I say that happily. It is never fun spending money to fix your car but if you have to get something fixed and want it done the right way then you can count on Zaharians 100% 10x over. Great service, great atmosphere, polite, honest, and people who aren’t trying to screw you over and just want you to have a reliable vehicle and a safe vehicle, those are just a few of the qualities you will experience there. I was traveling across Michigan, headed to Detroit when I stopped at a rest stop to figure out the scraping sound I was hearing. Tried using bungie cords to hold the front engine splash shield onto the compromised bumper. That didnt work and I was by Battle Creek so pulled off again and mapped auto repair. Zaharions was right up the street. It was about then that I noticed my credit card was missing, so not only did I have car trouble, I was essentially broke. John, at the front desk, listened to my story and said, I can get you back on the road. It wont be pretty, but I can make it work. We also discussed kindness and being friendly in these difficult times. Not only did he do a hillbilly repair, he refused to charge me anything. I wish I lived nearby so he could complete the repair with the proper parts because Im sure the work would be as amazing as his help on my commute. Johns calmness, help, and general kindness meant everything.

The owner was very personable and showed me the things that needed to be replaced on my vehicle.. I was nervous about going to a new place. They did a great job with my cadillac escalade. I will definitely be using there service again in them the future.

2 years ago, my car needed mechanical work. Zaharians was the most reasonably priced for parts and labor, so I went with them. My son had used him previously and had a good experience. I had no issues with the work he had done on my car.When I picked up my car, I was told that I needed struts which were about $2000 and bushings (even though I had them done within the previous 6 months at the Cadillac dealership) needed replaced at about 1000.00. I was told that the struts had already made my almost new tires start cupping.I was frustrated and at the time, was not able to afford those repairs because of medical bills. He said the struts were expensive because they are electronic but he would try to find out if there is another option. I never got a call, which wasnt a big deal because I wasnt putting that kind of money into the car at that point (it drove fine so I didnt feel it was urgent).Here we are 2 years later and I decided to see if it was any cheaper as I wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive...surely it had to be getting worse after 2 years. I called John and he and I played phone tag so we never actually spoke. Long(er) story short, other shops said I did not need struts or bushings. ANDDDD....tires were not cupping...even after 2 years of bad struts. I know...I should have had this checked out way back then.In response to my anger, he said I have seen thousands of customers in 2 years, I cant remember the situation with each one. That is a VERY accurate statement for sure. However, I only saw HIM when this happened. I was there, my husband was there as was my son. SOOOO...he doesnt remember because maybe it wasnt the truth??The woman I spoke to this morning, said that the only estimate that was in my file was for the control arm?? Without a shadow of a doubt, he told us something completely different. He did not have anything regarding struts or bushings in my record as needing to be done. Which I found very odd considering the conversations we had regarding the needed repairs.Bottom line is, when I talked to him about this today, he said it was my control arm?? And that he guarantees its bad. Well, I just had a shop put brakes and a wheel bearing (obviously these were not issues 2 years ago) on my car and all is still OK otherwise.I absolutely do not enjoy writing this review, times are tough enough and I dont want any business to fail. I would never write a review like this if my husband and I were not 100% sure of the accuracy of this statement. But rather than just saying Im sorry, I screwed up...I got a I guarantee your control arm is bad, bring it in and I will look at it. That was not why I was calling...it was because of what I was told regarding my bushings and struts.Is it possible that 2 years ago, when we first had this conversation that he confused me with another customer when he told me that I needed struts and bushings?? Possibly, but he was pretty specific about the struts being electronic and trying to find a cheaper option. I didnt just make that up out of thin air. This is not something we would have confused with another part, problem or shop.I know better than to not get a second opinion, and should have at the time.

I was on my way to Chicago from Ann Arbor when i ran into car problems. We googled Zaharions Automotive and because of the positive reviews we had our car towed there. John was very professional, honest and kept us informed of the costs and what repairs were necessary. The car was completed in a timely fashion. These guys are the automotive wizards that I wish I knew since I owned my first car. I visited for the first time last week and it was an amazing experience. Paul only needed a few minutes with my car to spot all the issues that might come about on an up-and-coming multi-thousand mile trip I was about to tackle. He was even able to get me in the very next day with all the needed parts to fix up every little thing! Our 32 motor-home alternator began to fail on my family vacation. We barely made it to Zaharions Auto and to my extreme surprise the go me right in and within 20 minutes they had our alternator off an had new parts on site within an hour. It took a bit longer to get the job done due to the difficulty of finding the right part, but the owner and staff at Zaharions did everything they could to get us back on the road. They went totally above and beyond what I could ever expect. I highly recommend them and if they were closer to home there would be no other place I would go.

I have always been able to count on these guys to help get my car back on the road. If you have to wait at the front desk for help, its b/c they are always in the garage working. If I could give more stars I would! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this business is. Their customer service is top notch from the minute you walk in the front door. John the owner, the man is truly has a gift. He is a true hero (at least in my eyes). I took my car in to have the front inner and outer tyrods replaced as well as an alignment. He found much more than I bargained for. He took great lengths to explain to me and show me exactly what was going on, what parts I needed. He is working with me on paying for the total cost. I might add that his charges are much much lower than other mechanic shops around! Did I mention honest? He doesnt talk down to women nor does he try to over charge women. From the moment I spoke with his wife Renee on the phone, to the moment I walked in the front door I felt comfortable. The shop is clean and you can tell that every single employee takes pride in their work and that is something not a lot of businesses can say or do. Im car sprung a coolant leak on a long trip to Chicago and my car needed a dealer part. These guys were able to make a temporary fix to get us back on the road until I could make it to a dealer. They also stayed 2 hours after hours and only charged me for an hour of service. I would highly recommend these guys!

I could not ask for better service and more importantly; honest people that care about the customer. I have taken my Saab in multiple times and their knowledge and ability to do whatever it takes to be sure all questions are answered and the repair is done with excellence. I read over these reviews and think “these people must be either paid, or related to the staff to leave such a positive review. This place is a joke. False promises constantly, overpriced work...never once has met a deadline they set. Don’t take my word for it, drive by and see the plethora of cars sitting and waiting to be repaired. Unless it’s something minor like replacing windshield wipers, be prepared to wait 3-5 weeks for your car. I recommend Cam’s Auto. They know what’s up!

I was taking my car to the dealer for service and had to come here for some 3rd party warranty work. They were so thorough and professional Ive taken my Prius back there several times for the major mileage check-ups (I do the oil changes and other minor maintenance). Times are reasonable as well as the estimates/costs. Its worth the 35 minute drive for me to go here. I always see them working on various cars so Id be comfortable taking other vehicles there if I needed to.

Great and enthusiastic team, very easy to get along and talk about your cars troubles. Helped me with a frozen caliper in no time flat. Would recommend them every single time when I am in the area. Very competitive prices as well.

Pros: Very knowledgeable, courteous staff, very reliable. They are one of the best shops Ive ever been to.Cons: Communication skills and organization need a bit of work. If you reach the owner or his wife, they really dont listen and talk over you which is my only complaint. It seems their front end really isnt built strongly so my advice is to try being assertive or just ask for Paul their mechanic whom has shown to be the better person to talk with. Also, you will need to devote at minimum 2 hours for inspections, even with an appointment.Overall my experiences with them are excellent at the actual repairs, but be prepared for miscommunication if you arent vigilant. Id give a 5 if I didnt place soo much importance on communication and organization.

After my daughter had a car accident, John was able to recycle and repair the damaged existing hood, latch, and lock, simply through his expert 2 hours labor. The chevy impala looks great, and is safe, and just right for a teen to drive it without having to incur the $600-2500 estimate other body shops offered.

We took our truck in to have a new encoding motor and front end rebuilt, 2 weeks later the encoding motor failed, which to his credit he did replace however less than 6000 miles later the tires were destroyed from a bad alignment and the owner refused to fix on his expense. During casual conversation he also referred to black people as n- words .0/10 would not recommend.

I was referred by a tire company when my tires were vibrating like they needed an alignment. I was told that certain parts I had previously had installed. I was also told I had a transmission leaking and was advised I needed a seal. I replaced the seal and broke down 200 miles on the Ohio turnpike which cost me $800.00 to have towed back to shop. It took 2 weeks before they installed another transmission. Now, my motor is louder and the transmission jerks after spending over $3000.00.I referred them to a friend in Bay City who bought their vehicle to their shop. It took 3 weeks and approx. $1000.00 later to have some work done. The door still needs to be lifted to close still even though other work was done satisfactory. Neither my friend nor myself will be going back and I will not be recommending them to anyone else.

On my way from Traverse City and through Grand Rapids to Detroit for a concert and all of a sudden my windows wouldnt roll up. My son googled these guys so we stopped in about a half hour from close and they took care of me and got my windows up. The price was a bit steep but I was in a pinch and a lot of shops probably wouldnt of even got me in. But within 20 minutes we were on the road again.

I live in Bronson MI and when I purchased tires and subsequently needed an alignment a couple of years ago Zaharions was recommended. I was very impressed with the quality of work done and the attention of the staff. I recently needed new tires and struts on my 07 Hyandai. They gave me a quote considerably lower than dealer price. The work was done on the day specified and at the price quoted. I have been very pleased with the personable service I have received. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

I would not suggest attempting any business with Zaharion’s Automotive. The administrative staff is very personable, but lacks in most other ways. Their mechanics seem to do good work (as far as I can tell), but getting to the point where they work on your car is not easy. In my experience with Zaharion’s Automotive I ran into three primary issues.(1) They did not call back when claimed:There were at least three times which I attempted to check on the status of the shipped part or my car when they did not call me back, after telling me they would. I had to call them back several hours after the time they designated.(2) They were not available during posted hours:During one of my attempted communications, I called a few minutes after their posted opening time. The phone was picked up but I was told that I could not be helped for another hour and twenty minutes, at which point I was to try again.(3) They did not start work on car during the agreed upon time:When the part finally part came, eight days later, on a Tuesday they attempted to schedule me for that Friday. After I informed them of my disapproval of that idea, they scheduled me for that day and told me they would try to have the job done that day. I did tell them that they could work into the next morning, but I was assured that they would try to finish it that day. After, not receiving any call, I called them two hours into the next shift, Wednesday, to be informed by a new person that car was just put on the lift.Once my car finally got to the mechanic it was finished in the estimated time. Nine days and Six-hundred and fifty dollars later I got my car serviced.

Every experience i have with any of the staff is great...they r knowledgeable n stand behind their work...they r totally honest on warranties of parts n do not try to make u pay again...i can go in n the staff can almost tell u every single thing i have had done to any of my vehicles...they make it personal which i appreciate to the fullest...i do not want to b treated like i m just more money for the company...no pressure on replacing things that do not need replacing right away, they will let u know if it truly can wait...i love these guys n i know i can trust them...been with them for years n not going anywhere anytime soon !!!!

Never again. Staff was nice enough but simple job took days instead of hours that were quoted. Time was pushed back 4 times across 2 days. Tried to drum up more work before the job given was even done. Should have known when I sat and waited in their waiting area for an hour after our appointment time just to be talked to and still didnt get a quote till we called hours later. Every push back on time we were told we would be called back and never got one call to update on progress or that it was gonna take longer... We had to chase them at every appointed time given to get our car back. I wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy.

I would not recommend Zaharions ever again. We had our car there, for much longer than expected, but were not very upset, due to not needing the car back immediately. My truck broke down later, and so we took the truck there, and were going to pick up the car after we dropped the truck off. We showed up, and the car was fixed, but when walking out to it, they hit something with the car, bending, and scraping off the paint on the bumper, we had just replaced a week before we took it to Zaharions. The owner bent it back to place, but refused to admit it happened there, but it hasnt been anywhere else. We were told my truck would be looked at either that night, or the next morning, and i would have a phone call that night about what was wrong.. Never called, I was forced to call the next day, and didnt get an answer on what was wrong. Told it would be at most another day, and they would call again. Never called again, and never got an answer for a week. I was told it was 2 sensors, costing 500$, which i payed, and i was told it was about 2 hours of labor. Told them i would come and get it after 3 days.. When i showed up to get the truck, He had not worked on it, and it remained broken down. After another 2 weeks, we were told it was something completely different, costing over a 1,000$. We went and got the truck, not wanting them to have it any longer, and took it to another mechanic, but once it got back, there was paint missing from the brush guard as if they had hit something with the truck or something hit it. Not worth the time or money.

Great shop.I had a dilemma with a truck I bought close to here,Im from grand rapids and they got me right in and figured out the problem immediately.I would recommend this shop to anybody,you will not be disappointed.Great prices too!thank you Bart!
