We called for a repair on our freezer. They said they would be here between 1-5:00 pm the following day. The very next day, The service rep called us and said he would be on his way in 40 minutes. He was here right on time. Came in assessed the problem and had everything he needed to repair the problem. He had it taken apart and fixed in a very short time. Great service and a very quick response. When all other repair services in our area refused to help Sears was there. Not even the place we bought our refrigerator/freezer from stood behind their product they sold us. Don’t ever buy a Samsung.

The technicians are great.The customer service from Sears is poor. We have eight appliances on a Protection agreement. Seven could be scheduled over the phone. The eighth couldnt be scheduled because of some problem with the system. I was directed to call back, wade through the automated answering system and try to find the right human to fix the problem. The customer service people I spoke with couldnt/wouldnt fix it.We asked the technician if, when the service agreements expired, we could call them directly. No, you must go trough Sears.We wont. Well go elsewhere.No wonder Sears is going out of business.

A new tech is coming back to fix/replace the range surface element control switch, and put some clay-putty inside of the range oven door trim kit to keep it from clanging on the glass. AND, Im looking for my promised $30 gift card from sears....from my chat with a customer service rep:1:00 PM To 5:00 PM. Not bad your tech seemed knowledgeable in his area. It was however a bit pricey to have them come out and they couldnt solve my problems completely though because apparently my tractor needs a new mower deck. It will cost over a grand just for the deck ouch. Tech was nice though so I give it 3 stars.

After 8 tries and 4 parts later since 12/2015, the repairmen determined my Bosch Dishwasher could not be fixed. It was a long haul and many trying visits having to cancel several plans an appointments that I had. Somehow it just couldnt be done. In May/2016, it was determined that seeing I had purchased a protection plan, I was given $500 to shop for a new one at my choice at a Sears store which I did. The math of $500 minus the cost of the protection 1 year warranty agreement of $220 left me to the good of $280 to shop for a new one against the $719. I had to pay for the new one. I think all in all the time it took was worth the repair time and Sears installation delivering and then installing the new one and removing the old dishwasher.To complete the process, it was easy shopping for a new dishwasher at the Sears store in Battle Creek, Mi. although there was a mix up in the purchase with the salesperson. After my calling several telephone numbers trying to figure why my new dishwasher was not delivered as my many telephones calls said it would be, I found a Rhonda that worked at the same store and she followed thru and took her time and ironed out all the problems for me. I have to comment where comments are due. She needs a raise or problem solving job. She is good at it when all other measures failed.The installation man installed my new dishwasher today and explained everything to me. He was great at his job and friendly.

Two men came to check our dishwasher. I guess they checked everything, we werent having any trouble so that was good. They left me no receipt that they had even been here. Also did not call to let me know they were coming.

Our appointment was scheduled between 12:00-4:00, I had to call several times starting at 4:00 to find out when the tech would arrive, only info was that he was running late, need to do a better job of communicating.Service on the dyer was excellent

The technician was not too personable; however the job was done. I realize that it is not necessarily their fault however it is not fixed correctly and it took another week and a half to get another technician out to the home. Thank goodness parts and labor are guaranteed for 90 days

There was some advance notice with the estimated arrival time, about 45 minutes before arrival. My fridge was repaired properly and efficiently. I have had no issues since. The technician was professional and polite. I would use this service again.

The repair of our Maytag refrigerator on June 16 was very good. Getting to that point, however, was very frustrating. We began the process on May 9th....and four service calls later it was finally fixed. This was due to the incompetence of several people not ordering the compressor to begin with, then ordering the wrong one, then having to return the wrong one, then waiting again the the correct one to be delivered.....thank goodness we had a spare refrigerator we could use!

The service repair person (Jim) was great & completed the job satisfactorily. Reason for the low rating is that it took 3 weeks to get the repair person for in home service. The extended service/warranty contract states repairs will be made in 3-5 days. Sorry, Sears, youve lost a customer.

Mower will not mow grass that tires pass over. After mowing, you can rake grass under tire track and it is noticeably longer (as in not cut) than the grass not in tire track. Service tech said mower is working correctly.

Wanted to say when I called Sears home service to repair my washer they were out that very same day. Fixed the machine in minutes and he was very friendly. This is the second time I have had them out here. The first was just a maintenance check and all was well. Thank you Sears home service.

The service technician was on time, polite, and professional. When he left, our fridge was working. Not even 48 hours later, it stopped cooling again. Now we are without the use of our fridge again, not to mention the food we lost again. I am disappointed in this product.

They didnt fix the problem or know how to find the problem, was told it was a clogged drain line, called in a plumbing company, nothing wrong with the drain line, it was ok, after spending $100.00 service call, and was told the dish washer was not draining. I want a new dish washer installed and my $100.00 back from Sears.Second repair man was there, says it was not the dishwasher, just the pumps for draining it are not as powerful as in the older models, still not resolved. No dishwasher for over a month now.

Service arrived more than 3 hours late.Service was for removal of snowblower attachment and install mower deck. Perform maintenance- oil change and filters, replace blades. The maintenance was not done requiring another service call. The mower deck installation was incomplete as the front bumper was not installed after the blower was removed.Poor poor service call.

4/17 Techinican took front of dishwasher looking for float and water leaking problems. Found none. Put front back on and told me he didnt know what the problem was. He then left.4/18 Called for another techinican to come-scheduled for 4/20.4/20 received telephone call from techinican who asked a few questions about the problem. After explaining he related that the Bosch was very difficult to repair. Said it would probably cost $500+ to repair. We dont think he really wanted to come. He also said we would have to pay another service fee. Overall we are not pleased with Sears service. The problem still exists.

Tech Gordy is wonderful - calibrated my 2 month old washer and it is now working. However a 2 month washer should not need tech attention and should it again stop working, for whatever reason, I will not bother Gordy - Ill contact Kenmore.

My dryer still isnt drying correctly, it may be heating up to temp but its not drying my clothes. I have someone out to my house 4 times and still the same. I am very dissapointed in sears at this point. I spent a lot of money on my washer and dryer and within 3years its not working properly and I get a rude tech who thiks I dont know what I am talking about. At this point I will never buy another appliance from sears again and I will also tell my family and friends not to either. I expected more from sears...

The Tech man came as requested. I was surprised that he only cleaned the front end of the dryer. which was does done ok.When I enquired about the back end of the dryer, he said we only do the front end. In laymen term. Its like cleaning half of the dirty dryer.what a waste of my Money>

The technician arrived after the 4 hour window they stated they would be here between (8am-noon) and the refrigerator is still not fixed correctly! Terrible customer service and run around given on the phone. Never again will I purchase with warranty from Sears. Purchased from store in Portage, MI.
