I paid $300 to have my whole head of hair lightened, loved it, went back two weeks later to get my roots done and my hair is now almost the exact shade of color I started with, so $430, two weeks later I risked the integrity of my hair by bleaching it and it’s almost the exact color I started with. I am a licensed cosmetologist and told her what shade to put it on and she insisted that was not what she used and now my hair is dark all over again. It took me two years to get my hair healthy enough I wasn’t scared to bleach it and now I hate it.

I went to Paradise Hair & Nail Bar based on reviews and I am regretting it.While preparing my nails for acrylic nails, the girl nicked the cuticles on 3 of my fingers causing them to bleed and become very sore. I should have known better and stopped right then, but I let her finish. By the next morning the nails already looked like they were coming loose, looked horrible, and my cuticles that had been nicked looked as though they were becoming infected. I went back and asked for a refund and to have the nails removed. They promptly removed them, but rather than giving me a refund, tried to charge me! He finally agreed to not charge me, but I did not receive a refund, either. So I lost $54 (tip included), 2 1/2 hours of my life, and my nails and cuticles look horrible and hurt like hell! Needless to say, I will not be returning.

I got an awesome men’s cut. Trina is an excellent hair stylist. She will give you a clean, professional, cut at a very reasonable price. She enjoys her job and makes her customers feel great about themselves. I will return.

Just left and they did an amazing job.. the guy who did my nails took his time and even picked the perfect color out. Friendly staff! Better than any nail place ive been to in baton rouge. They are hidden in the shopping center.. but worth the find!!

This is a review on the Hair cut at Paradise Hair & Nail.I think this place is more of a Nail shop than a hair salon and I believe they only have 1 hair stylist. I went based on reviews listed here on google. I went the first time and got a fairly good hair cut nothing too difficult straight cut in back, angle cut around face no layers. So since it was good the first time I scheduled another hair cut. This second time im not sure if it was because people were waiting? But, I have below the shoulder hair and wanted the same cut as last time. This time I got a weird super long bob even with my below the shoulder hair length? The hair in the front was longer than the back of my hair I didnt really notice this until I left :( or would have asked for the front to be cut shorter to match the back of my hair. Not a angle cut in the front as requested. The people are really nice and their nail services look exceptional but, I cant say the same for the hair. It seemed like a side business to the nail salon. The price is not as expensive as other salons and I believe shampoo is not included in the price of the cut. bummer, extra! But, you pay for what you get.

In my opinion, this is the best place in baton rouge to get beautified!! ALL staff is very friendly. I always get compliments on my nails because they do such a good job. They are fast too!

This place is very clean and new. The staff is very friendly. Trina has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. She pays very close attention. You get a hair cut with a nice hair wash and massage for cheap. Pedi and Mani massage chairs are heavenly because they are brand new and not been worn out. Got my first pedicure here because it was so clean.

This group of professionals are skilled in maintaining skin and nail health. They are warm, caring and efficent with time. Their prices are fair, also. I love my experiences here!
