Good place to get tires done and the guys that work here are pretty good and I enjoy talking with them. I had my truck tires swapped from old dry cracked tires to my newer steel wheels. They did a good job switching them over and scheduling me an appointment getting my truck done. Appreciate the hard work. Thanks!

I highly recommend Town Fair Tire after they checked out my leaking RV tires, found that I had two rear faulty extension valves in the inner rear tires, removed them, put air in my tires, and sent me on my way. During my wait there, all personnel were friendly and courteous. If I ever need tires, I would go there immediately.

First of all, AMAZING service and super friendly staff. Went to get my snow tires off, and one of the workers (wish I could remember his name) went above and beyond and figured out what what was wrong with my car!! You guys saved me a couple hundred dollars, because I thought I needed a new alternator. Turns out, it was just a loose connection. Thank you guys, you rock!!

I cant attest for the work because I didnt end up getting it done. I will simply say, your scheduling is atrocious. I booked an appointment mid week for Saturday at 130. I got there 15 mins early, and my first red flag walking in was the sign stating to allow 45-60 minutes for your car to pull into the bay. For people who are waiting, thats just downright outrageous. The point of an appointment is to schedule your work. 10 years in this industry and being told my car might not even roll in for 2 hours blows my mind. Then being told even if I rescheduled it would be the same situation. I understand busy, but if its that busy the two advisors at the desk should help the guys out back instead of sitting on your phone up front. Its a fail from me, I got my tires elsewhere and was kept to an appropriate appointment time.

I went in there with my mind set on a tire but he made me aware that its an original manufacture tire and they arent designed to last long. He offered me a set of Cooper tires with a 30 day test drive incase I didnt like them. Im very pleased with the service and knowledge of the guys up front!

After a week of vacation my family and I headed back home. Blew a tire on our boat trailer and was stranded. I called a few places who couldn’t help but then I called town fair in Bangor. They had a tire in stock but I had no way of getting it there. They were nice enough to send a technician to me. Took the old tire and put the new one on right in the burger king parking lot. Trip home saved....... great job to the guys at town fair who helped me out. I will make sure to tel everyone how great they were.

The gentleman working here are great. Didn’t feel like I was trying to be taken advantage of. Very respectful even called me miss. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. This is the only place to buy tires.... Steve and Zach were just wonderful

For me, one bad experience and I generally will not go back. The first time I used this place, I walked in, bought a new tire, and had it installed. The next time I returned in a different vehicle. I was told that the required tire was not in store and they would have to get it from another. It would take two days. Two days passed and I went to get the tire. I was told that they cater to people who make appointment first and then walk-ins. I would need to wait about 30 minutes. Instead I made an appointment for the next day. I arrived at the appointed time and was told my car would be next. They have a camera that looks out into the bay, so that you can watch your car being worked on. I sat and looked at 1 car and 4 empty bays for over 30 minutes. I went to the counter where there were at least 4 employees standing around and talking. Annoyed I asked what the problem was and was told it would just be a few more minutes. 40 minutes after my appointment time I still hadnt been served. I told the gaggle of employees that I had no more time and thought priority was given to those with an appointment. They offered to reschedule, I said no thank you and never returned.

Very impressed with the knowledge of the staff. Came in for an alignment and Mike explained to me I had a few bad parts. I went and had them replaced and not only did they do it again for free they even rotated the tires that weren’t even purchased from town fair for me for free also. Thank you again Mike for the teaching you gave me. I will be back.

Always great service. Lee made me aware that there would be a slightly longer than normal but he would get me in and out as soon as he could because I was in a bind. When it came time for my vehicle there was 2 that had just finished and both techs worked on my vehicle to have me done asap. Thank you all!

Staff was quick on getting me in, Zach was super nice and friendly, I will definitely be coming back here more. The waiting room is nice, it has a TV to watch them work on your car. It’s nice to see a company that actually cares about their customer’s vehicles.

We got a flat tire on our way home to MA from camping at Baxter State Park. We called town fair tire and Lee was very responsive and helpful! Within an hour they were able to patch the tire so we could make it home safely and without anymore stress!

It was horrible. We waited in the hot sun, because all the fumes in the store were making us nasueas. We got there early for an appointment, but then we were stuck there for 2 hours just watching other people come and go. Switching shops next time.

I’ve never bought tires from here, but I brought my truck, thinking I needed tires and the employe there was completely honest and said I didn’t need tires. When I am ready for tires, I’ll definitely buy them from there!

Came in and got some great advice from Zach and Steve about some tires I was considering online... they ended up having them in stock and got me in and out in about an hour! Great service, I’ll be coming back for my other vehicle.

I can’t say enough good things about the folks who work here. I didn’t buy anything but I can tell you I will in the future. One of the counter guys asked a lady who was waiting for her car to please put on a mask. Needless to say she wasn’t to kind back to the worker, but he was very kind and respectful. The guys at town fair had accidentally messed up one of my tie rod ends. Nothing major it was just out of alignment a little bit. I called and Lee told me to bring it back at my earliest convenience. I brought it back and they got me in and out and they honored their work and didn’t charge me a dime! Thank you guys. Will definitely recommend!

Its all good until you try and use their included service, such as tire repair! My wife is near the store with a screw in her tire, a baby in the car and an 80 degree day and they said they are limiting people in store. She would have to wait for over 2 hours. This is just for a simple plug repair.

Work quality was out standing. In and out in about An hour. They noticed my rim was cracked and gave me a great price on some new ones. No wonder it kept leaking....... highly recommended.

They advertise free lifetime rotation, if you buy your tires there. Used to be able to schedule appointment online. I was not able to. It said to call. I called and asked for appointment to have tires rotated. Said I would have to leave the vehicle for the day to have tires rotated. I said I couldnt and when could I make an appointment. Was told sometime after snow tire season. When is that? 1 month? 6 weeks? This is not good customer service. All done buying tires at Town Unfair Tire!

Went in for a rotation and dealt with Steve. He knew exactly what was going on. Didn’t take to long and everything went great. The techs noticed that I had a nail in the tire during the rotation and fixed it free of charge. Comfortable and clean waiting area with giant TVs to watch the guys work on your vehicle. I could not have asked for a better environment to have my car worked on.

Pretty good service. It took a little longer than expected to do the job but they got me in on very short notice so I cant complain! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles and their tires. Would definitely go there again to have my tires changed. Oh and they had coffee in the waiting room which is always a plus!

First time ever buying tires from TFT. Zach, checked me in, Lee checked me out. Bought these tires online from their site and read it would be about 90 minutes. It was done in half the time. I watched it all on there TV in the waiting area. All the guys were quite nice. A good experience all around. From online shopping of the tires to signing on the dotted line. Thanks guys!

I called this place and specifically asked for a tire with a 55,000 mile radius was told they didn’t have any in stock but they would give me the next ones up at no extra cost as I was getting all 4 tires. Get to the place waited for almost 2 hours paid and went home, I live more than an hour away from this place (an hour drive one way). I am looking over the receipt and noticed it says they put all 4 tires on but the tires are only rated for 40,000 miles. I called and spoke with the manager he was very polite and said that I can come back and they would put the correct ones on. The next weekend I again drove to Bangor and told them I talked to the manager and they were supposed to put the correct tires on. The guy behind the desk said they don’t have the tires I asked for in stock so there was nothing he could do other than just change my receipt to reflect the tires they put on originally are a 55,000 miles radius, I said just because you change it on the paper doesn’t mean anything to the tire its still a 40,000 mile tire. He sent me on my way and scheduled me an appointment to come back for a third time to put the correct tires on. He advised that the day of my appointment that when ever I got there they would put me first in line for my troubles that way I didn’t have a long wait. I made the appointment for the following weekend and questioned them about the 30 day warranty as I would be over 30 days at this point, because I work during week and can’t get to Bangor sooner. He advised me that he has the capability to get me in when ever he wants and also not to worry about being over the 30 day mark for the tire warranty because they make that rule and he can change it when ever he wants. The day of my appointment (today) I walk in tell them I’m here and he advised that I’m early he was not going to get me in sooner and I would have a very long wait. I advised I only came to Bangor to get the correct tires and I would just sit here for the long wait because once they put the correct tires on I’m not coming back. They are nice to your face but when they mess up it’s like pulling teeth for them to fix the issue. I have now drove to Bangor 3 separate times that’s over 6 hours of driving for me just for tires. I would have gone someplace else for cheaper and not waisted my time and money/gas if I knew this is how they treat people.

Recently called and got an estimate from Town Fair and the gentleman I spoke with was extremely helpful and polite. I explained that I travel over 100 miles a day and need something that would hold up and that I was also on a budget. He offered me a tire that had a great warranty and told me that he would keep my estimate in the computer for the length of time I would need to make sure I could budget out what I needed. The customer service that I received was outstanding. Thank you so much!

I visited Townfair Tire to purchase two front wheels for my car. The service was super friendly and they managed to fit me in to get my new tires put on. I was told an hour but it felt like half that time. And as a bonus, they have a super comfortable waiting room with a TV that shows them working on your car. Very cool.

Lee over in the Bangor location got me the best price on tires I could find! They even matched Wal-Mart for me!

These guys are great. I procrastinated just like every one else does. Showed up on one of there busiest days ( couldn’t even find a parking spot). They said they could get my snow tires on that day if I could leave it and would call me when it was ready. I heard one gentleman say they had about 40 vehicles waiting to be serviced. The most honest and nicest staff around. Blew out a tire on the interstate and showed up before they opened. Steve was just opening up and told me to come in and he would help me out. They replaced a tire and showed me the pretty good ding in the wheel that may cause a shake. We’re not pushy and the price was great as well. I was in and out about 15 min and all before they opened up for the day.... thank you I will never shop anywhere else.

So I was initially pretty disappointed with how long it took them to put my tires on last month, but theye redeemed themselves. Last week someone started drifting over into my lane, so I moved over to avoid a collision, and instead hit the curb in just the right way to bend the rim but not damage the tire. I went and bought a new rim & they switched it over for me for free today! Absolute life savers!

I brought my own tires in waited for 4 hrs to get my studded tires on...I called to make an appointment but they said its better to walk in so I had an that how long I waited. Ws not happy an them to come find out one of my tires where going flat....they cracked my rim so had to buy another an had different place put on for me. I will never go there again.

Ive had a great experience with Town Fair Tire. Mike, the assistant manager, saw me having trouble with an air leak outside of work and came up and offered to help. He ended up fixing the leak in my tire for free when I brought my car by the business the next day. Honestly I have nothing but good to say about Mike and Steve and would definitely want to get my next set of tires here.

Been dealing with town fair for years. Tried calling the bangor location yesterday. Got a call center instead. Woman says i will put you on with a tire expert. 10 minutes later still on hold. Hit 1 to be called back. Never received a call. Tried calling this morning. Same b/s! Stayed on hold and finally gave up!

I dropped my car off at 9am to have my snow tires put on. My car had no issue starting normally. I waited all day and had to call them shortly before they closed to see if my car was done and they hadnt even started it. Worst of all, it was having trouble starting when I went to drive it out of the parking lot. I thought maybe it was the cold so I didnt think much of it. Now, my car will not start and Im assuming its because they either left it running or left the door open/accessories on while it sat in the bay. Even worse, theyre not open on Sunday, and could not do anything for me until the following Monday, even though I had work which requires me to use my car.

We love going here for our tires. Great prices and fantastic customer service. Its worth the 2 hour commute.

I went in today to buy some new all season tires and get rid of my old ones, having just swapped over to my winter tires. I was helped by Lee, who actually recommended I come back early Spring instead, when I was likely to get a better deal on them. He also gave me some excellent advice on how to get rid of my old, worn out ones, talk about going the extra mile!! I know where Ill be going in March to buy new tires (hint: here), and with that kind of customer-minded service I would highly recommend that everyone else do the same!!!

Dont be fooled by the Free tire change over they advertise. It is not free... they charge $10.00 per tire to balance them. Plus tax it came to $42.20.I could have gone to a competitor at half the distance and had the change over done for $48.00.Also, last spring, after I bought new tires, one of the tire balance weights fell off in my driveway. I went to have my tires checked and they guy said I probably picked it up in my tread... even with no signs of scraping or damage. He then asked which tire I thought it came off of. I wasnt sure but said maybe the front right (the only one without a weight). They checked only that tire and said it was fine. The next day the car started to shimmy. I had to work so my wife took it in to have it checked again. She waited 20 minutes while everyone ran around and kept answering the phones. Then 2 guys walked in and they immediately asked if they could help them. She spoke up and was given an attitude as if it was a bother to wait on her. I called the manager the next day and instead of apologizing, he made excuses and said he was there and that is not what happened.Basically calling my wife a liar.I will not go back.
