The team was professional and placed tarps on the shrubbery to protect them from the roofing debris. They went over the yard many times with a magnet to make certain there were not any nails and 2 days after the install a quality control group went on the roof to check the quality of the workmanship! They did the work even earlier than they had promised, and all in one day, doing both my house and my shed. The workers were very friendly and did a great job. I also appreciated Kimberly from the office patiently answering all my questions about billing and materials since I am a young homeowner.They were very upfront about everything and that put me at ease.Thank you so much!!

I had a big roofing job to do and was very nervous about who should do it. I spent a good 18 months getting estimates, talking to people, reading reviews. I learned a lot.My roof was perfectly solid, but UGLY. It was an old, much-painted metal roof over the original, 100-year old cedar shakes. I was just so tired of looking at it, but I knew that removing both layers of roofing and replacing it would be both costly and a huge pain. I dreaded it.I looked and looked at roofing, and decided to go with Owens Corning. I found a color in their Duration Designer series that is simply gorgeous.I got estimates from 6 companies. The highest was $62,000. The lowest was $16,000. Thats quite a gap. The other 4 were all fairly close, coming in at right about $24,000.I was turned off by big, high-pressure companies who quoted clearly ridiculous numbers only to start lowering the price when I started laughing. That tells me you were going to take advantage of me if I didnt call you on it and thats a big NO.So once I knew about what a reasonable price was, I started looking at the people involved. I wanted a local, family owned business. And thats what I got.We had some bumps. My husband became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized on the Friday before the Monday start. I didnt want to cancel an entire weeks work on them, so I told them to go ahead. He remained in the hospital that entire week and I was either with him there or at work. That meant that no one was home for the bulk of the job. In retrospect, I wouldnt do that again. I would want to be there during the chaos and to look everything over at the end. That doesnt mean I dont or didnt trust them, just that one or two things that needed correcting could have been caught sooner.But in the end, after I had time to look at everything and spoke with Kimberley and Mike, they handled my concerns (Just aesthetics, new roof, very old house. Some damaged siding, bumpy caulk visible above my front porch, nothing R/T the function of the roof but little things that had to be fixed.) and got it all done to my satisfaction. Really, they were extremely understanding. It was an awful week, I was very stressed and worried and they couldnt have been kinder.The roof is stunning. Ive gotten many compliments and it makes me smile every time I look at it. In the rain, it looks like slate. On sunny days, it looks like weathered wood. From any angle and in any light, its perfect.Thank you, DiBello Roofing, for your kindness and patience. Thank you most of all for my roof! Now I need to decide on the perfect color to paint my house to showcase this masterpiece.

We are so happy with the overall experience that we received from DiBello Roofing. The roof looks amazing and the crew that came out, was top notch! The clean up was impeccable, especially since they had to take off the existing roof that was on our house. We noticed the chimney cap was lower on one side after they left. Called needed roof repair. Roof is 20yrs old very good shape just had inspected last year. First thing they asked was how old was your roof. Said we don’t repair roofs that old only will quote you a new roof! Give me a break

Back in 2015 I used this company for the installation of my roof. Fast forward to February 2021 -I called them because my ceiling was dripping water and they have a warranty on their workmanship. The next day one of their employees was at my house before 10am on my roof inspecting what could have happened and addressed the situation.I dont remember where they came in on price, but I do believe you get what you pay for. I would use them again in a heartbeat, even if they were slightly higher knowing that they stand behind their work over five years after the job was done.

Phil DiBello re-did my roof about 12 years ago. I had a single shingle that recently flipped up and broke. I called them to have a look, and when they found out they had did the work all those years ago, they agreed to fix it for free. They were out the next day. They were great!

The material arrived in a little over a week and the roof completed the next day. They also fixed my siding and gutter issues. Phil DiBello Roofing did a wonderful job tearing off the old slate, putting on a new shingle roof, reattaching the Gutter Helmet system, working around the lightning rods. They did this all in 1/2 a day, then very carefully cleaned up all the slate dust and fallen nails. They protected our shed and plants from damage. They were very hard-working, safe, careful and polite. It is wonderful to do business with such an excellent, affordable and caring family roofing company. I highly recommend this company!!!

After getting 5 quotes, I selected the Phil Di Bello company due to their BBB rating and having among the lowest price.They arrived as expected, did a great job and fantastic cleanup. They not only got the big stuff but did a magnetic sweep of the driveway for errant nails. Imagine my surprise when another employee came by to power wash the driveway.

We signed the contract and as promised they arrived two days later. They arrived on time removed the old roof, replaced two bad sheets of plywood and installed the new roof. Called for a quote for a rental property of mine. They showed up 2 days later. Spoke with Phil, good guy, definitely a roofer not a salesperson. They said it would be about a week until roof was done. They completed it before that time even with memorial day weekend thrown in the mix. Out of the 4 quotes I got they were second lowest and not far off the lowest, but their reputation superceded the lowest bid. Very easy to deal with. Certainly will use them again in the future. 👍

Mike came in right after we called for the estimate of the new roof. They had it done in one day plus the clean up. Phil is very responsive and responsible he himself came in right away after we called about one of the workers dropped a staple gun and punched a hole through the roof of my gazebo which we appreciated. Overall they did an excellent job with a decent price. They may not be the cheapest. If we have another job we will call them again.

The response was good from DiBello. They showed up on time when they said they would. Near as I can tell it looks like a good job. A couple of things kept it from being a 5 starts. I am still finger bits of old roofing in my yard. Also a number of old roofing nails in yard and driveway. None have punctured a tire otherwise rating would have been low. Tried to talk to installation crew but they were not friendly. Could have been a language problem. Finally when I walked around the yard I found a gutter connection laying in some bushes. Fortunately the crew was still here and they reinstalled it.

Excellent workers, efficient and friendly. The single problem--and not the fault of DiBello--was that unavailability of shutters prolong process for months. That was really a COVID issue back down the supply chain. However Kimberly and Mike both stayed in touch, were supportive, apologetic and all worked out in the end.

I have been dealing with a roof that leaks approximately the same time every year when we get bad storms. I’ve had multiple people come out and work on it and change the skylight. I called Phil Dibello and they were the ONLY ones who figured out it was a small plastic lid stuck in my drainpipe for the last 5 years or so. I had called and asked for a quote for a whole new roof. Turns out the roof was fine. Instead of taking advantage and putting a new roof on anyway, they got to the root of the problem and didn’t even charge me!Incredibly kind and great at their job!

We were told what we needed and given options of roofing and/or skylights . The final cost was a bit more than what we had guesstimated......but that was due to the skylights we were having replaced. I had three contractors provide estimates for replacing my roof. Phil Dibello Roofing didnt provide the lowest price, but once I evaluated the various material types and qualities, I decided that Owens Corning was the best available shingle.They arrived at the time that they said they would and were finished in one day. They did a great job with the install. The only ding I had with the job was they could have cleaned up a little better.We had some blooming tulips in the front yard and they blocked the area so that they were undamaged.

Mike came out a year ago to give me an estimate for a new roof. It was very easy to set to the appointment. When the quote came it was very detailed in comparison to other quotes I received in terms of what materials would be used. The amount of the estimate was very much in line with the other providers so I felt it was fair.I sent mike an email asking some questions about the materials. I know nothing about roofing and my dad has given me some pointers. Mike answered the questions promptly and thoroughly and was happy to do so - you could tell he was enthusiastic about his profession with his knowledge.We were thrilled that once we committed, the project would start the following week. Paying was extremely easy. When the trash bin and materials were delivered they were sure to ask where to place them so as to not damage the grass.The men who were on site were courteous and it was nice to see mike stop out on occasion to monitor the progress.I spoke with Kimberley a few times too - and thought she provided excellent customer service. She assured me that something was part of roof replacement but would send the team back out to confirm it was done - that was above and beyond.Replacing a roof is a necessity when a house gets to be a certain age and Phil DiBello roofing made it easy. Im giving Phil DiBello 5-stars for HONESTY and INTEGRITY. I thought I had a leak in my roof, and they were able to come out within 2 days. After looking on my roof (the WHOLE roof - not just where I suspected a leak), they let me know that there was no leak, and took the time to explain to me what it might be. (I had staining on a ceiling.) They did not charge me a fee and were overall so kind.A company could have easily made up expensive roof problems, but Phil DiBello was HONEST and helpful. That goes a long way with me. If I ever have a roof issue, they will be the only company I call.

They did my roof in 2015. Still holding up well with no problems. Mike (very personable, saw him recently) and the DiBellos do good quailty work. I recommend them.

We definitely give 5 stars to Phil DiBello Roofing. A new roof was part of the settlement agreement on the sale of our home. Mike met with my wife and that same evening, we had a formal estimate. Cost, professionalism and the overall courtesy shown towards us was the deciding factor in choosing this company for the job. Rescheduling had to occur thanks to Mother Nature and the Maryland monsoons (!) but Kim from the office kept in regular contact with us. She provided all documentation required for settlement. The roof was installed and settlement was on time. Would definitely recommend Phil DiBello Roofing. Thank you to the awesome staff and roofing team.

We worked with the salesmen Mike on the roof shingle color for use on our home. Our new roof was completed within our time frame with the color we had chosen. Everyone from the company showed up on time and worked hard. They installed a new roof with new gutters and leaf guards. Looks great! So glad we went with Phil DiBello Family Roofing. Excellent Job.

I had roof issues on Christmas Eve and they came out to evaluate the day after Xmas. When selling my house they were willing to do what they could to work with me any way I needed and were always just a phone call away. Their entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. This is a great company that treats you like a person instead of just a client. They do quality work and stand by their product. Highly recommend.

Have used this company in the past for some minor repairs. This time the entire roof including the plywood base was replaced. I was told afterward 2 crews were actually doing the job. They worked together as if they did it all the time and did a fantastic job.

My husband and I needed a new roof as we were experiencing leaks in our living room around our chimney. While ultimately it was determined that the issue was the chimney, Mr. DiBello continued to come out to our home to try to resolve the issue. He called whenever it rained to see if we were experiencing leaks and he helped us through the process of having the chimney and fireplace removed. Despite the fact that the issue did not lie with the roof that Mr. DiBello installed, he took a genuine interest in helping us resolve the issue and followed up until we were fully satisfied. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience we had and would recommend Phil DiBello roofing to anyone!

My experience with Di Bello roofing was very good from start to finish. My wife and I are satisfied customers and have recommended them to several friends/neighbors. We were referred to them by a friend who used them a few years prior. The salesman/project mgr showed up on time to do the estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out several things about the job that other companies giving me quotes did not do. The price we got was very competitive so we decided to move forward with them doing the job. The crew arrived as scheduled and completed their work on time. They were all very polite and worked hard. They left the work area clean. A few weeks after the work was done we had the first heavy rain storm and noticed a small leak in one of the skylights on the roof. DiBello customer service was responsive, immediately scheduling someone to come out to repair the leak. It actually took 2 tries to fix it but they stayed with it till it was done. We are very happy customers and recommend them without hesitation.
