There is almost no communication, and unprofessional interactions in addition to a lack of empathy, bedside manner, but most importantly no consideration, FIRST, of my boundaries and creating a safe place for the client, not the social worker or therapist. I have no boundaries and have expressed this repeatedly and am used to NEVER before recently self-advocating,respecting other’s boundaries, or relearning everything about human social and emotional because of having both parents as extreme narcissists and having no healthy-models to draw on. In summation, I have been EXTREMELY unsatisfied with Youth Excel Youth as a caregiver. Their effort, only for myself and not commentary beyond my feeling, experiences, and perspectives has wasted a month or more of my life where I DESPERATELY needed help and a LIFELINE. I have been drowning and giving everything I have just to keep my head above water. I feel, perceive, and have experienced my time with them as a client as nothing short of one long and repeating trauma to add to my lifetime of similar of more of the same, just variations thereof.

My Children and I use to attend B.T.S.T. We miss being able to actually going there because of covid 19 we have to have our appointments virtually now.They have really helped my children and my family. They are very caring and nice people. Very professional employees and very clean offices in the clinic. Highly recommended for mental health services.

Worst place I ever been to. It is Nice and beautiful when you walk in but I been Coming here for 6 months and it was horrible! CPS took my children and forced me to come herhere for 6 months and I hate it. They dont answer the phone transportation does not come to pick you up not even on time I live far away they wont let me leave! Do not go there it is very unprofessional. I came here to pick up my documents and to get discharged immediately and they are telling me they dont have it even though they said they did there liers. Sometimes they can be nice to me but it is not alot of times. I dont recommend coming here the psychiatrists are not Real in my opinion. Go somewhere else national pike is bad too. That was my first choice.

Horrible communication.revolving door of people no stability.do not call you back.therapist dont know what they are doing.could go on forever and my son has only been under their care for 2 months! We dropped off of the Kennedy kreiger waitlist for this place and my son is not getting the care he needs! Looking elsewhere will not be continuing

Hopeless and pathetic service. Extremely unprofessional therapists. No time management, they will call you and not show up. They cancel on you and put the blame on you. Niceness is alien to them. I discharged myself from their service, because no thank you. If only I could give negative star rating.

I love BTST! I refer to them all the time. A lot of my clients have transportation issues and that’s not a problem at BTST because either come to you or make arrangements!

Psychiatrist are not emotionally there seem to be unstable as well...sitting on credentials.Therapist do not reach out most have other jobs.PRP Program ... barely exists

My fiancee receives therapeutic and psychiatric care from BTST in Lanham. I am not impressed. The psychiatrist is negligent, constantly sending medication to the wrong locations and it gets lost. It is also difficult to make contact with them, if youre having concerns about medication. The office staff are not friendly and will offend you with their unprofessional body language. While my fiancees therapist is decent, I feel as though the quality of therapy is mediocre. My fiancee can get better service from a YouTube video at this point.Oh, never mind that my fiancee has been out of medicine for almost a month now and cant get an appointment for 90 days because of some policy that makes absolutely NO SENSE. Hes suffering and cant be seen because he missed 3 appointments? 3 appointments that they cant even give the dates for? Ridiculous. They never reached out or attempted to make any contact with him. Im not impressed with these services. If they dont improve, I will be sure to seek care for my fiancee elsewhere. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the therapist is somewhat decent.

Absolutely the WORST mental health treatment Ive experienced in 20 years of being treated. Unprofessional, uncaring, unhelpful. The psych doctors, therapists, prp counselors do not meet or have a coordinated plan. They never know what the other is doing or going through with clients care. One may change their treatment plan and the others have no clue. Theres no organization. They have very little respect for your time but will rush you through an appointment. The doctor never actually sees you just ask if are fine with the meds. Thats not how that goes. They cancel every other appointment and never reschedule. Abandon clients when there is an insurance issue. Instead of billing them so they can keep treatment. Therapist would show up 10 mins late and leave 15 mins early most of the time. She never help solve one issue. Mostly she just said me too. This place is counterproductive. They arent healing anything, just want that paycheck.

Nearly impossible to get ahold of anybody. Doctor forgets to refill prescriptions. Lack of management, its like everything is just thrown together last minute. You dont feel like a priority, you dont get thru to people, you never get answers. Theyre never able to give specific times amd dates. Literally the worst service for mental health I have ever experienced. Like, what the heck are you guys even doing?

I have been with them for along time and it was up and down all the time with them they dont care. They dont try hard enough to help Ive been on 7 different kinds of medications that they put me on. Then they stoped comeing to Cecil county and shut down there office. And left me now im out of meds and im sick and hurting from them. Now i feel really bad not just bodley but mentality screwed im really scared of what i can do.... I have told them and tryed to call and call but get the run around. Yea who does that to people i wouldnt give there number to anyone they only wont your money. Im really suffering and they dont care.....

If you are someone in dire need of mental health, stay away from this facility. I came here thinking that they could put me with someone in my demographic and I just ended up with a major headache and admitted to the ER for uncontrollable suicidal thoughts. From the point of intake, it took me three weeks before I saw my counselor and then when I had an attack and needed her, reached out and her inbox was full. This was after, I had my initial intake and wasnt put with anyone for a while, then put with a man, after I asked to be with a woman. Oh I also had to wait two months to see the Psychiatrist and have my meds managed.

This is the worst mental health services Ive received this far. The communication is poor. I am on my second therapist due to lack of communication and not showing up fire services. Im over it. And you wait 2-3 days fora return call from supervisors.

My experiences with them have been horrible as well as my childrens.... Very poor running cooperation... Needs new management

I don’t know what all the bad reviews are for. I was referred here after a bad experience with the last place I was at, and I read the reviews and was worried. But I really needed help and decided to give it a try. My therapist (Nina) is amazing, she’s caring and kind and goes the extra mile to help! I can’t speak for all of them here but at least mine is and the office has been nice anytime I’ve called. The psychologist is nice the only thing I would say is that she kind of rushes the appointments. I would say to people that remember these are people too, they make mistakes and they aren’t perfect and they are doing their best.
