I had Zak (0126) who was estimated to be here between 2-4. Firstly he was here shortly before 2 which I think was great and convenient! He was super friendly, professional and all around just a nice guy! He explained what the issue could be and how it happens. Once the service was finished he explained what was found and how to prevent it in the future. All around great guy and professional attitude Id definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a trust worthy company with a friendly attitude! Also great job Zak very personable which is something I personally value when having a service tech in my home!

Very professional, personable & helpful. Weve dealt with many people during this process & all of them were a delight. They were late one day, but that is the only complaint I have. I absolutely recommend their services.

The entire team was so accommodating and easy to work with and arrived within 20 minutes of my call. They were all polite and respectful of the situation and provided a clear understanding of the issue. Bob and Steve took the time to explain the problem in detail. Alan and Michael were very professional and explained the restoration process. In the end I was given a detailed list of my options for repair.

From the start of my experience it was pleasant. I called after discovering water throughout my basement from the recent heavy rain, the receptionist was extremely nice and very attentive. On the day of I was called prior to the plumber coming out as promised. I was greeted by Glenn who was very informative, courteous and apologetic (because unfortunately it was beyond what the company could do) but he did provide recommendations for my issues.

Zak # 0126 was fantastic and so knowledgeable with a great personality. He worked hard and was determined to solve my problem and didn’t mind me asking questions and hovering over him. He had professional equipment and was very conscious of my surroundings not to damage anything with his equipment. He wore his mask the whole time. I think he is a great ASSET to your company. Updated Review: Clayton, one of the managers with Roto-Rooter followed up after my original review (below). Clayton was very apologetic about what we dealt with, and was able to provide a solution that was both agreed to. Due to this, I will happily move to 3/5 stars. Also, our technician Brian W (#5555) deserves 6/5 stars. Brian was fantastic and I would highly recommend requesting him as a technician.If I could put 0 stars I would. Our basement flooded, and we called this location to have a technician out to assist. We were told that there was a 4 hour window in which the tech would arrive, which is fine, so we begin to do our best to remove the water and wait for our tech to show up. After the 4 hour window passes and we receive 0 calls or updates, we call to see what is happening, and are told a technician is on the way. Fast forward another 45 minutes, no tech, no calls. We call back, and are told the technician will be calling momentarily and should be there shortly. Fast forward again, about another 30 minutes, and we still have 0 contact. Call back to the main office to learn that our appointment has been cancelled and we must now wait until midnight to have a technician out. It took over an hour on the phone with the office to get a technician out before 10PM, and then I was informed that a Manager would be in touch to discuss. We are now about 16 hours past the time of the technician arriving, and still no contact from a Manager, and the office will not put me through. I will be disputing this charge on my credit card, as I refuse to pay for service that was so horrendous.

Joe was nice, showed up on time and was informative about my water leak. my service cost $375 to tighten a pipe fitting which took 1 minute to fix. Absurd price. My mistake for signing the agreement. I Won’t be using your service again and feel like I got absolutely screwed.

Steve was awesome! He arrived during the projected time frame. He was efficient and professional. He explained what was going on with the clogged drain in detail and how to prevent it from happening again. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I had a clog in my main sewer line on a Saturday afternoon.. I called Roto-Rooter and they took care of it promptly. They kept me informed of the process (which I really appreciated). They called me three times to update me as to when they would arrive.. My thanks to Floyd, Al, Steve, Maria and Tony.. Very helpful.. They are a great team!!

I decided to go see the Roto Rooter office located at 15459 Clayton Rd. Drove to the address, and lo and behold, there was no Roto Rooter located at this location (picture included beside the vacant office space). It turns out the central office, which is located in Bridgeton up by Cabelas, buys vacant office space around the St. Louis area and advertises as though it is local to the customer, when in fact Roto Rooter only has 1 location. This causes great harm to the local businesses in St. Louis who are in the same industry as Roto Rooter. I have referred this to Googles corporate office and have filed an official dispute with them to review this, as it looks as though Roto Rooter corporate (not to be confused with local franchisees), which St. Louis is a part of - corporate Roto Rooter out of Cincinnati, does this on a national basis, thereby violating the spirit of local ads from Google. I would urge anyone and everyone to contact Google about this violation and have Roto Rooters locations limited to one spot, up near Cabelas in the old outlet malls, as opposed to having 8 or more locations around the metro region.

No call no show. Made appointment at 11:30 Sunday evening, was told they couldnt get to me until Wednesday between 10-2. Never called or showed up. Called office, was told I had been called (no missed calls, no voicemail left). Obviously they have no need for anyones business. My family has been without running water for four days now... Do not use this company.

Our main sewer line backed up on a Sunday and RotoRooter had someone out within a couple of hours. They cleared the line and ran a camera through, explaining and showing on the screen that the line had settled and there was a low spot in the line holding water. He gave me some tips on keeping that from clogging again as fixing that line would require jackhammering out the basement floor which I will not be able to do right away. Sunday plumbing is not cheap but they charged what they quoted and got the job done and were very courteous and good about explaining everything.

Tony the technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He completed the work quickly and we were able to use a coupon from the website too. Will definitely use them again.

Outrageous prices! Need an outside faucet/bib replaced. Google says the cost should be $100-$300. My installation should be pretty standard - no special challenges. Roto-Rooter quoted me $780! I will find another company.

My water heater broke on Wednesday and I called Roto-Rooter. Despite advertising same day service, they said the earliest they could be here was Friday between 10 and 2. Here we are on Friday and I get a call from them at 11 saying they overbooked and cant be out until Monday. I have 3 children 5 and under so going this long without hot water is not an option! Now Im scrambling to find someone to come out before the weekend. I absolutely will not use Roto-Rooter or recommend them to anyone.

Roto called the day of the appointment in order to reschedule twice. These were dates and times Roto gave us, not the other way around.

They were great! Steve was excellent and very quick. Our drain from the washing machine was clogged and within 30 min had it fixed. He was on time and very professional.

Scheduled an appointment for Monday 8 to 12, I had to drive 1 hour to meet them. Got a call at 10 saying that they were running late. Got another call at 3 saying that they wouldnt be able to take care of the job that day. Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 9 to 1, drove another hour, got there at 12 . Eddie the technician did a great job, was really nice and cleaned everything when he was done. Scheduling andwasted time driving back and forth was my big complaint.

They saved us THOUSANDS that we thought we were going to be stuck with to dig up the yard and basement. Now we can flush our toilet and take showers again without having a huge mess to clean up. Life savers is an understatement!!!

They were not able to fix the break but identified and marked for MSD. The technicians were wonderful. Very thorough and took COVID precautions and cleaned up after themselves. I was disappointed they couldn’t unclog the line due to a break but grateful they figured out the problem.

The service technician that was sent to was Eddie Hughes. Eddie worked tirelessly for hours in the cold using different length cables and video until the blockage was cleared and allowed us to use our water lines again. He was absolutely great and I would recommend him and Roto-Rooter. They were not inexpensive, but they were available on the weekend, and they got the job done

Called for a quote. The representative ignored multiple immediate inquires for a routine annual sewer line cleaning. While continuing to ask for my personal information and attempting to schedule a service call without even a ballpark figure for the cost of service.When I finally said If you cant give me any idea on the cost of service before sending someone out then I am not interested in scheduling an appointment, she hung up on me.This is a clear sign of price gouging and preying on consumers. Choose another company. Very disappointed.

Eric #1849 was great. He located the clog and then called dispatch to have a plumber come to fix the pipe. Carl #4567 fixed the pipe fast. Both of them were so polite and answered my questions and they also wore masks. Excellent service from both.

I called Roto-Rooter at 5:00 & the plumber was at my house by 5:30 (non-emergency, just a sink that was slow to drain that had been going on a couple of months). Caleb was very thorough using two different size lines to make sure the pipe was cleaned out. He was professional, knowledgeable, and gave me good information about caring for my old pipes.

Date December 29th 2019Service technician Reggie Taylor 5212 and RichardIt all starts with the phone call. We called at 7:53 am and were told wed have some one come out between noon and 4pm. They arrived at 3:00pm.The customer service agent over the phone were very courteous and informative. When it comes to Roto-Rooter remember you are estimated when the Technician arrives and assess the issue.Reggie and Rich arrived within the estimated time and were very upfront with the procedure. First they introduced themselves and asked what the issue was and had us show them the area of the incident and the main pipeline. Reggie has amazing customer service skills and could see that I was distressed. His ability to change the vibe and mood of his customer as well as handle the issues is amazing. He carries very good report. He explained that with our situation the main line was clogged and for this job it would cost 351 for the job outside. He let me know that the job inside would be 164 to finish the indoor snaking issue. He told us he recommended having the main line definitely taken care of out side because the sewage issue is a major plumbing emergency that our property manager should have had taken care of a while back. We had the job done for the main line and the basement. They finished the job in a timely manner and then continued on to their next job. Honestly a very positive experience having them come in. Highly recommended. They left around 5:45ish and gave us double copies so we could present this to our leasing people. We were informed that someone would be by for a followup of the job and help explain proper cleaning.

The plumber did a great job. He was quick and professional. The gentleman whom came out to do the water restoration restatement also did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the clean up crew was an hour or two late in coming out on the day that they were schedule but did a wonderful job.

Glenn (#4588) came out to our house for a main line backup. I scheduled the night before and Glenn was out on time the very next day and in fact even tried to come earlier in the day (we were not available). Glenn worked efficiently and quickly. Its never a fun thing to have a sewer back up in your home but to know it can be quickly repaired helps relieve a lot of the stress. Great service all around.
