*** CAUTION, AVOID MOVING HERE ***I’m not one to spread negativity, however this complex doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. There were several issues that were brung to light and was overlooked for our 12 month stay. Altogether, me and my spouse put in over 10 maintenance orders, and the same issues would continue to happen & grow worse due to the lack of not being properly fixed or sealed. We had issues with our bathtub peeling after getting it fixed over four times, and there was an issue with BLACK MOLD in my child’s room & our room. Their team did nothing about it besides having maintenance come to spray something over it, which did not solve anything. The product used was not even effective for getting rid of mold, although they insisted it did. When I spoke with several individuals in the office, I was addressed with attitude and hostility as if they did not care. A lot of issues were just sprayed or painted over to look as if they were never there. So if you think you are getting a clean apartment unit, think twice about what lies underneath the paint. Neighbors were noisy with their pets, complaints were ignored, and other disadvantages I could continuously point out. I would not recommend nor come back here, and I no longer wish to speak to ANYONE from their office about issues that should have been fixed while I was a resident of their community.

If I could give negative numbers it would be a negative 10. Black mold in the basement, my apartment was not available to see until the day we got our keys and it was not clean. But the lease was already signed.. there excuse was covid. We were sent a link tour felt like we were mislead to what we thought we were rented.. My son died in our apartment on October 30th asked to be moved to a one bedroom they evicted me nov 3rd instead. The new property manager is a liar do not waste your time.

I wish I could give -5 stars.As a soccer player I have been living in different places throughout the world and this was by far THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!Stay away from this place. I was leaving with 2 guys that kept threatening me and after I reported the situation to the main manager telling her I wasnt feeling safe to live there and that I was more than ready to pay more to have my own place do you know what she did? NOTHING!!!THEY TOOK MY SECURITY DEPOSIT!!!!Trust me, I dont want anyone to live what I went trough. I drove 50 minutes every day to go sleep at my girlfriends house for 1 month as I felt so scared of the people I was in the apartment with and of the fact that no one was doing or would have done a single thing!STAY AWAY!

I spend almost one year in this apartment, I felt very regret to choose this apartment based on my overall experience. Here are some photos I took very first days.My one cent suggestion, If you are looking for a new building apartment stay away from this, this is very old and not maintained from time to time. Very noisy place. Only I liked the location, its close-by grocery store & mall.

My boyfriend and I been part of Waterford West apartment for three years. This property is affordable and great location. Its close to all major highways!! What I want to rave about is the management team and maintenance team. Everyone is so helpful and professional. Being is service industry myself, I understand how it can be challenging at times but overall everyone keeps their promise and work through any situation it may arise!!ONE word......SUNNY IS MY FAVORITE executive team member to work with!! He always greating with smile and just checking in how your doing!! Thank you for your great personality and performance.

I just recently rented a two bedroom apartment with Waterford West. The unit was clean and ready to go when I moved in. The rates are reasonable and the neighborhood safe and quiet: The day I came to pick up the keys there was a mix up about what level unit I wanted but they were very accommodating and helped me change to another unit with ease. They did an amazing job and have been very helpful. Ask for Jason. He is very professional and will help you find the unit that is best for your needs and in your price range. I highly recommend this complex.

Brianna in the office is an amazingly sweet person. When I needed to get out of my lease due to health issues and missing a significant time of work she was very helpful and understanding. Also the apartment I was in was virtually sound proof, we never heard our neighbors at all. Great location, I would have not moved out if I could have still afforded to live there. Highly recommended, ask for Brianna

Updated Review: Lived here for about 4 years, their management probably changed about 4 or 5 times during our stay there, maintenance staff changed just as much. At first it wasn’t so bad, I even previously gave a good review. The most recent (as of a year ago) management and maintenance staff was an absolute joke. While we were moving out, and moving our things out of the indoor storage provided to all tenants, we found water damage, standing water and microbial growth (I have been in the restoration business over 15 years). They, like most apartment complexes have no clue how to properly remediate mold and do not even attempt to do it properly. I explained to them exactly what needed to be done, and suggested contacting a mold certified remediation company. Every piece of textile furniture and the rest of our items in that storage area were ruined. We had a major issue with our bathtub being sealed, and were told we could return in 24 hours. Upon returning, the odor was so strong our eyes were watering in the hallway. We had about a 1 year old at the time, and when I called to discuss it with who was apparently the Assistant Manager, we were met with arrogance and hostility. After finally speaking with the manager, they agreed to reimburse us for a night in a hotel. There was another time that without any warning or notice whatsoever, they tore up the only entrance to the building without stairs, and had no cones or tape up until I mentioned it, after my wife nearly fell 30 feet down the hill with a baby in her arms. We left our apartment in at least as good of condition as when we found it, including filling all of the nail holes. I would never recommend anyone do business with, or rent from Mills Properties in general, especially Waterford West in particular. Photos attached for reference.

I have lived in these apartments for many over five years. I should have moved but like the location. However the rent has increased over two hundred dollars which would be okay if they responded to tenants needs. I have been complaining about squirrels nesting in the walls of my apartments since January. In February the squirrels created a hole from the exterior of the building into the interior of my bedroom and kitchen walls. The holes were patched from the interior but the exterior was not therefore the squirrels continue to nest in the walls trying to create more entry points. I am awaken throughout the night and hear them throughout the day. I have written a couple of emails requesting the exterior hole be closed and no response. This is a fire hazard that puts myself and neighbors in harms way but it is April and nothing has been done. An agent from pest control has placed a cage in rear of the building but this is a wooded area so that is impossible to catch every squirrel in this area. Repairing the hole is the only safe solution. Also paying almost 900.00 a month to live with rodents in your walls is unacceptable.1-16-17UpdateIt is over a year since the incident with the squirrels and no repairs has been done to prevent the squirrels from re-entering the walls. I should have moved when my lease was up but moving is expensive plus they want a 65 day notice and I have not found a place willing to hold something that long. However, I was hoping the management team would honor their promise to paint and repair structural exterior damage during the summer. They did not keep there word and winter has arrived and the squirrels are looking for a place to nest for the winter month. I reported in Nov. 2016 and Dec. 2016 that the squirrels had returned and were trying to make another hole in the wall. Mills Property has truly neglected and disregarded my safety and the the other tenants safety. The management has truly changed because years ago issues were resolved immediately not a band-aide but resovled. I am attaching a video that shows a squirrel exiting a hole. As stated before this is a fire hazard because the rodents are trying to keep warm and drawn to the heated wires. Instead of repairing the damage they place a piece of wire fence so the squirrels have made three bigger holes because the wire did not cover all of the damage just part of it. PS...No one told me the damages would not be repaired until I complained to the new manager (Nov. 2016) about the squirrels returning. I was then told it would not be painted or repaired until summer 2017. Dec. 19, 2016 I informed management that I could now hear the squirrels in walls and was told they would get someone out about the damages. That has been almost a month ago and no one has been out. I have been home due to surgery. My recovery has been spent beating on the walls, going outside to video the squirrels (they usually run) and yelling out the window where the damage is located.

Three days after my lease was over I called to make sure there were no charges on my account, the property manager assured me there were none. Weeks later I filled out a complete and honest review they sent me. Three days after that I received a notice of a bill from a debt collector. After multiple attempts to contact a manager, even going back to the complex, I found out they moved the property manager to a different location and brought a new one in. This was the 3rd property manager in the 14 months that I know of from the year I rented and the aftermath. To this day, I havent heard a thing and nobody has called me back even from the debt collector.. very sketch.

Pros: location, cost is semicompetitive (but trust me, you wanna spend your money elsewhere), theres a pool thats open sometimes (think like half the time its supposed to be), youll never have to worry about being lonely in your apartment because all your new pets will keep you company (hope you like spiders and other bugs), you get to meet time travellers (no really! Maintenance and management are time travellers as evidenced by their frequent Ill take care of that right nowIll be right backwe will get that replaced next week and then 3-6 months later they come!), you have numerous opportunities for science experiments (with all the mold growing in youd apartment)

Im currently a resident there. I like the apartment and the location in west country. But the staff in the leasing office are rude and not welcoming especially if youre from a diverse group. One of them was even mean to my kid and almost yell at him because he took more than one candy😈. So rude and ignorant!

The apartments here are reasonably nice, and if you happen to not have anything break, this would be a nice place to live. However, if you do have any issues that require help from staff/maintenance, you will have a very frustrating experience.The management staff is incompetent and fails to communicate with tenants. During the time that I lived there, I had multiple maintenance issues that we not resolved in a timely manner. In one instance I did not have any water pressure in my shower and could not shower. It took TWO WEEKS for maintenance to resolve the issue. They did not consider this a high priority even after I called every day for the first few days that I experienced the problem. They did not even send someone out to follow up on it for almost a week. When I decided to move out, they scheduled a walk through for myself and a staff member to examine my apartment for any damages. A management rep did not show up and they did not attempt to reschedule. They also kept my entire security deposit, even though there was no major damage to my unit. They also did not attempt communicate any of this to me. I had to call and inquire about my deposit. Because of these issues, I would not recommend living at Waterford West.

If you live here, pray to all that is holy that nothing breaks. Maintenance takes forever and a day to fix anything, the pool is hardly ever open, and the management team would be better replaced by cardboard cutouts of Rob Lowe from before the sex tape. The apartments are overpriced for what you get. If you have any sense, choose somewhere else.

This place is really old. Living here for the last one year. Rent is cheap but the trick here is that they charge you for water, sewage and trash. So overall it comes to the same amount where you would pay in an luxury apartment. Exterior of the buildings looks creepy. Interior doesnt make up the bad looks of the exterior. Community gym has little more equipment than its size (cramped), but not great. Overall it is OK.

Lived at Waterlford West for nearly 2 years, did not find any major issues with the apartment. Maintenance took care of all minor issues on time and everytime.Hand full of Indian families, if you are looking to rent a Desi community.Manager Donna Sandheinrich is really nice, very proactive. Surprised to see a manager vaccum the common floor of apartment. Really appreciate her, she was really accomodative too! So is Shawndale :)I did enjoy my stay and was fully satisfied!

A week after we moved in, a white male Neighbor knocked on my door with an axe in his hand and he threatened my Muslim mother to kill her and her friends, police was callled and the guy admitted it and he said he was joking, very mentally ill. We notified the apartment office and never heard back, we talked to the manager and asst. manager about the incident but no response from them, we are leaving the apartment and no one cares. The management are very racist and the white male still lives their . Don’t risk your life with this apartment buildings.

Worst apartments ever I have lived in many states and in many different apartments but nobody did what these guys did my lease term was only 3 months I left in 2 months giving them a month notice in advance and paying them the complete 1month rent mentioning them that my lease is getting over I m leaving but paying because I m not breaking any lease after 3 months without even informing me they put me my account on collection and charge me for 4th month even though my lease was only of 3 month and when I called them to ask they were so rude to me please dont rent here..
