Just moved out to Bakersfield and was looking for a nail salon. I called and they were able to take me in same day. First time here for a pedicure, ambient was relaxing and calm. There was a wide rage of color to choose from. Lisa really took her time and I definitely feel pampered after todays must needed pedi. Thank you I will be back!

I did pedicure twice never going back again. I went the second time cause it’s closer to my house but now I’ll rather drive further for better service. The lady does the bare minimum and keeps pushing you to do gel instead of regular…She also lied about prices. The first time I went she said $5 more for gel the second time she said $10. She does not take the time to remove cuticles and spend 15/20min overall on pedicure. I keep telling her to make them short and she still didn’t cut them short. What she does you can do it yourself.

I loved it, a gentleman named Rick, did a fantastic job doing my rockstar nails. He did them just the way I like them... Im very pleased with them. And the people were very nice & so was Rick. Thanks Trish💅👠👙💄👛

I went in to get a pink and white fill. And I ended up having to get a color because there was nobody there that knew howto do it. The reason i get pink and why is so that I dont have to choose a color theres so many colors that I can never decide on what to get Im not one to complain but the job was really not what I was hoping for and when I was asking to see another color the man doing my nails had kind of an attitude so I didnt even want to finish explaining everything else that I wanted fix on the nails what I had wanted fixed was things like the acrylic underneath my nail and I like my nails really Square I was not pleased with the way my nails came out and he cut my finger

First time there and I walked out with the nails I wanted every little detail was perfect and exactly what I asked for...thank you Lisa...I definitely coming back

Very good place for when my regular nail lady is not available they r very strict on covid guidelines and actually make people wash their hands and take temperatures immediately. The only thing that was weird was they were questioning my add on services like they werent used to people spending that kind of money or they thought i was poor.... lol either way its a decent place for a walk in chop shop.

It was great! Im a guy, my wife asked me to join her so I did. It was pretty good and a good price too. Loved the massaging chairs and the staff is kind and respectful.

I was greeted right away and was asked if I wanted to do eyebrow waxing for $10 even though I only went for gel nails. The waxing was ok but she left too many hairs on each eyebrow to make it worth paying for . The gel nails came out sloppy to me and I asked for snowflakes but she drew what looks like stars and a snowstorm? Also they cut my nails shorter than I wanted and unevenly. I ended up paying $50 including tip. Unfortunately, I wont go back even though the service was good.

I got a full set of arylic nails on Christmas Eve woman didnt know what she was doing glued them to my skin when they started to life they ripped off each one of my real nails An its been 6 weeks or so anthry still have not grown back they are tender an n sore not to mention how ugly they look

People attending me quickly and were very attentive as well as curteous. The pedi was done very nicely. I will be back.

I’m from NYC and traveling to the area for a large event. I needed a quick manicure and polish and Chris took care of me like I was a long time client. Great work and professional. He only charged me $9. If I lived here, he would be my nail guy!

I got my nails done for my birthday Ive passed this place many times it is a very nice place with fast service once I walked in. A couple weeks after, my nails fell off like normal and I seen my skin peeling right at the tip of my finger under the nail. I believed it was a cut or a blister until it started growing. A wart was growing under my fingernail after I got my nails done from this salon. Never have I ever witnessed something as disgusting as a salon that DOES NOT disinfect or sanitize their tools. Do not recommend this Salon.

Been going to Lisa for many years. She is great. Very friendly . Her and I laugh so hard sometimes. She cracks me up.Chris has done my nails as well, but Lisa is the best.

So I have gone to this place every time Im in town for about 2 years now and I love it. I brought my mom the first time I went and she has gone to no other place for her pedicures since. The team is stupendous. You cant go wrong with any of their manicurists and I consider myself rather particular.

Worst salon Ive ever been to the woman glue the mail to my skin when that nail got snagged it ripped off my whole nail leaving me a swollen deformed finger because of it they are lucky I did not sue

It was a nice place, the workers were nice, but quiet.(not that theres anything wrong with quiet) The man did an okay job on my nails. Cut them kind of weird, but cleaned them up pretty good. I had to go back later and adjust the shape a little bit, but it was alright.Im interested to see if I could find somewhere better, but Id go again.

I gave this place a 5 star rating because I have been coming here since 2010 and I still receive great customer service & welcoming. Chris is my go-to but the rest of his staff are quick and just as efficient. Ive never been displeased with their work. I would highly recommend their services, theyre amazing!

Really nice. Came in to get an eyebrow wax. At other salons Im always being harassed by the employees lip too? Chin? Extra $5 for massage!. Not here. She did exactly what I asked and the wax was perfect. She barely plucked any strays and my skin wasnt red or irritated afterwards. I appreciated it so much I left a 20% tip.Will definitely return.

I came to Rockstar nails a little over two years ago and I am hooked. I woulnt think of going anywhere else. I tried several other salons in Bakersfield before trying Rockstar and the quality at those salons were not near the quality of this place. Chris the owner is an expert and the best I have ever seen on pink and white nails.

Terrible business, the people are so rude! So slow $73 for acrylics and a pedicure. My nails look terrible! I do not recommend coming to here! There not even good at nails!

Had pedi n mani do an ok job asked to have palm trees on my toes and look like a stick figure.. Had owner reply .. if you cant do any art work then say so.. I wouldnt pay the extra for a 5yr old nail art job..

I have been going to RockStar Nails for 7 years now and I love them. Ive tried other nail salons just for the convinence of a closer location but never compared to Rock Star Nails. Prices are affordable, salon is nice and workers are quick to assist.

Horrible. The manicurist was nice and took her time but My gel polish lasted an hour before chipping. My nails are thin already and they machine filed them, making them even more thin, they bend too​ easily now. Cuticle cutting was ok besides on 3 fingers, now theyre sore from being cut too much.

First time going here, and I loved it. I went in for a pedi and a full set but was in a hurry, so while I got my pedi they got started on my nails. Really friendly people, and they did a great job.

Paid 45 $ for basically a reg set.They said it was gel but didnt put gel top coat. The shape was off and I had to tell them to fix it multiple times to re do it. The time frame took forever defftneltly over an hour. The end result the thumb nails were to fat and wide and over all shape was not was asked for. I feel like this shop is used to doing duck nails or jersey style nails which is not my liking.Wont ever come here agian.

Rockstar is the only place I will go! One day they werent open and I had a nail emergency so I went to another place. BAD IDEA! It took the other place over 3 hours to do my nails they were not even remotely nice! The guy who did nails wasnt even there. They had to call him in and he was half asleep when he got there! I have never had even one complaint with Rockstar! My nails and pedicures are PERFECT EVERY TIME!!!

Me and my friends went and got our nails done and the people were very rude. Our nails didnt turn out the way we wanted them to and they are uneven. I will never recommend someone to go there. They suck.

My very first and very last time in this shop.these ladies were very rude. i sit down in the chair and i wait 2 minutes for the lady sitting right IN FRONT of me to finish playing her very audible game on her phone.when she finally feels like doing my nails, she takes a tip to pry off a nail, not trying to be careful.finally applying the gel i see that the gel powder is pink. before she even applied it i asked her if it was pink because i dont want pink i want clear. she sat there and lied because shes lazy, and said no its clear. as she applies it its obviously pink. i hate that look.so i told her again i dont like that n i dont want that n i asked her if she had the white powder. well apparently that was a problem and all 3 that were sitting there start doing what they all do and talk about you in another language in front of your face, and the lady sitting next to the one that was working on me gave her literal white color powder. in a small cup.she starts applying that and at that point i knew i would never step foot in that shop again.so i have 3 cloudy nails and 7 clear natural looking nails. accept she did not do a good job so my nails look horrible. she did not have me wash my hands. so there was glue and crusted gel all over my fingers. they are lumpy and she missed a spot on my thumb. and then she had the nerve to ask me for a tip.i am not a mean person by any means. but when im disrespected for no reason i am not going to sit and take it. so i let her do my nails because i had an interview and i was on a time schedual. but i would never ever recommend anyone to go to this shop.if other people have a good experiences then great. but me personally? bad business is a giant turn off. the behavior at this shop was appaulling. it shows clearly that these people pick and choose who they want to be nice to and who they want to be nasty to and i defiantly got treated like garbage.
