Great place I went in to do my hair looking like an orange. Lady that did my hair was awesome. The employees are all free people very welcoming loved it!

This location of choice was a fairly decent area, I have grown up in Bakersfield and recently came back to visit family. This location was down the street from my favorite place to shop which is the Mercado Latino, Great location for baptism essentials and quince gifts. I visited this nail bar that truly is what it is a Nail BAR. Beautiful choice of decor and divine atmosphere of elegance. Although i wish i can say for the staff and their grotesque choice of attitude they came to work with. i have had my share of locations and visitations of nail bars and nail salons.These ladies are not very kind enough to chatter unless you get them to communicate with you, if they are not doing anything they will be on their phones in front of you and not care, even if you can see the feed their a looking and laughing about.The original woman who was doing my nails, bailed on me or at least gave up on me due to she did not like she had to spend nearly more than 30 minutes to get my original gels off by soaking over half a bottle of acetone in cups to remove the gels. My nails were not properly take care of and my skin still dried out after she put cuticle oil on them in the end. The poor presentation of how my nails were done. I am disappointed by the amount and thickness of the gels. The edges were not sealed to prevent chipping, the rims of my nail beds were not finished.Overall disappointment with my nails, $40 plus $5 gratuity not well spent. Might I recommend the ladies who choose this establishment should be specific and make sure you let them know ow you feel about the job they do on your nails. Due to the lack of attention to detail, my cuticles are now splitting and dried and damaged.

Paid $45 for a pedi & honestly it was a waste of money. My pedi looked like this when I walked out. Very uneven and 2 or 3 other nails look clumpy. I’ll stick to galaxy nails.

Super cute place to get your nails done! All the girls are really nice and down to earth; no cattiness like at other salons. Went there with my bestie, had a mimosa, and got pampered. We both left very happy

I recently went here to get a pedicure. I got the highest priced package and tipped $5.I paid in total $70 for a pedicure and my feet were not done properly and I didnt realize that until I was home.They are still rough with callus and i got the callus treatment. The lady who did my feet seemed like she was in a rush...I loved the decor and atmosphere but also, its a little dirty and needs deep cleaning.Its overpriced for the quality of service that was provided and Im not happy with my experience.It had been 2 years since my previous visit. I really wanted to have a happy experience. Unfortunately I wont come back.I feel robbed of my money. My feet look and feel as if I never got a pedicure at all. I do not recommend this place👎🏻

My favorite place to get my nails done! Sandra is my nail tech and she does a wonderful job whenever I go. Good and fair pricing for the job they do, which is great! Nice atmosphere, they offer services with manicures, pedicures, waxing and hair. Highly recommend this place for your beauty needs!

Top notch. quality. Yes, it is very beneficial to make an appointment or else you will have to wait. They take their time and do not rush, so don’t pop in if your in a hurry. My nails are still intact after three weeks (acrylic with gel).

This place was TRASH. Don’t waste your time going here, they’re very unprofessional. I went in and got my pedi they did a horribly job that same day my acrylic toe nail chipped off. Plus I couldn’t get them how I wanted because that’s all they “knew how to do.” & were being so rude about it. I usually go to Crown Royal Nails on Riverwalk & it’s the best place ever. This was my first time here at liv lav & def wouldn’t recommend all you’ll do is waste your time & money.You’ll see yourself so don’t waste your time.

I was blessed to find this nail salon. It was wonderful looking, decor feminine and lovely, sparkle and comfort. We travel 1/3 of the time and this salon was one of the best i’ve found! Very modern and clean, lots of choices in colors and styles! I had a Mani/ pedi and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The ladies were all nice and eager to make me comfort. Patricia the nail technician who did my nails was gentle and efficient and skilled. She had a great sense of humor and helped me pick perfect color! I was offered and had a Mimosa to drink!Whenever we are in Bakersfield and I need a manicure this Salon will be my choice. Thank you ladies and nice owner!

I wish I wouldve read the reviews before walking in, place very nice, I grew up on East Side Bakersfield and was actually exited about this place, but sadly I was disappointing in the service and the staff, the ladys have zero customer service, my nails looked horrible, I dont really care about the price but I paid over 100 dollars for full set of nails and Pedi with Gel for the service I received was over price, sad to say I will never go there again or recommend anyone. I really hope the owner reads these reviews and chages her staff; place is very nice but horrible service.

Best pedicure Ive had, the wait time wasnt long at all and the service was just the cherry on top. the lavish pedicure is a must! Definitely recommending.

The worker that helped me was a sweetheart but my nails didn’t come out at all how I wanted. My hands were not cleaned after they were filed so there was spots in my nails that was from the mess. I could tell she didn’t do nails regularly. Also, most of the workers are not considerate about customers and will talk about making babies and show up with hickies on their neck.. . strictly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

I walked in and they just stared at me didmt welcome me didnt ask what type of service I wanted. Once I was seated to get acrylics I told them I wasnt sure what I wanted and judged me for that I said I wanted them short and oval and was told they could not do them that short for that shape because it would look weird. Just seems to me she was inexperienced. Never will go back again. Will be going elsewhere to get them fixed.

They made me wait for over an hour. The girl that did my nails was so inexperienced and seemed to be lost. She didnt know where things were and asked the other nail techs about the products. I dont have pictures because I went to another nail salon to get them fixed. They overcharge as well. Horrible and rude.

Manicurist was super sweet, but not at all worth a $72 mani/pedi.

Im super disappointed, if I could give zero stars I wouldI was getting my nails done for engagement photos, and I gave this place a try. I follow their Instagram and I loved how beautiful the nails looked. Sad to say, but most of the staff was very rude. It appeared if you didnt know them personally, they didnt care about your experience. The lady that did my nails was quiet and didnt seem rude/angry/impatient, but she took a very long time, and my nails came out with so many spots in the acrylic. The lady that came over and completed the design I requested was rude and didnt even respond when I had said thank you to her. This is probably the worse service Ive ever had at a nail salon. I wish I wouldve noticed the spots on my nails before I left, or else I wouldnt have even paid. I never write reviews but I just had to this time it was horrible. Dont waste your time or money here.

I took my daughter for a mini mani/pedi for her birthday and she loved it!! The whole staff made her feel so special. They even had a cupcake and balloon waiting when we arrived. Grisel is the one that we had our appointment with and shes just fantastic.

Walked inside today 12pm, they said they close at 2pm the time on google and there windows says they close at 7pm, and told me onto for apointments ! No one but one customer was in there while the workers just chill ! I dont see a sign where it says apointments, and im sure ive been here without making an apointment aswell ! If i can 0 stars.

Horrrrible experience, there was no one there for 2 hours but me and all the 4 employees did was talk about their boyfriends or kids. Never asked how i was doing or attempted to engage with me as a client, very uncomfortable seating, the girl gisele kept pulling my hand and was so incredibly rude. it was hot in there and i wasnt even offered water, mind you they advertise mimosas. paid 41.00 for a simple gel mani that was poorly executed, my gel is smeared and all over my fingers. its in a poor side of town, yet they advertise luxury, lol, its offensive how low budget their salon is. would never recommend .
