I highly recommend Warrior 1 Yoga!! Hot yoga seemed intimidating but I took their beginner class. The more I attend their classes, the more I love them! The instructors are so knowledgeable about the poses and working with the stage I’m at. Thank you Warrior 1!
Allow me to me explain the reason for the lowest rating. The photos they advertise look absolutely nothing like who or what goes on in there (first of all). So as a new customer, I already have a false expectation of what the environment is like here. The yoga class was fine.. I liked it. Which is why I wanted to continue as a paying customer. However, it looks as though I have been BLOCKED on all channels: their app, phone, etc. When I tried to buy classes, I got a pop up notification that said the administration blocked me from buying classes. So I called and got voicemail, left a message in an effort to resolve this problem a couple days ago with still no reply. So I went back to the app to try again, and I got the photo I have attached here. It looks as though they have completely rejected me as well as my account and /or registration. Just pushed me away with no word or explanation. Apparently these people are afraid of me and they are obviously not very good at all with communication. I even offered to give them free equipment! Peace out.
I overheard Dana treating a tradesman who was doing work for them & cannot support this business. She told him what she needed, & then cursed at him & complained when he did it! I dont think Ive met a more duplicitous person. She may put on a good performance for customers, but behaves in a manner that has actually pushed me to feel the need to post this review.04/14/2021 Reply to answer from owner:I know for a fact that he was not your friend. I had gone there because the company he works for is local, and I found out about you through them since I try to support local business. I didnt give the day this occurred or name of the tech or business either, so its interesting you know he was a friend. Also, when a person is yelling in front of her own customers, overhearing is not easedropping.I know youre probably doing damage control or something by replying so long after the original review, but thanks for taking the time to blow some smoke.
I travel full time for a living and get to explore many different yoga centers and instructors. I caught a beginner hot yoga class with Rochelle Pate and received a great workout / sweat with a very nice flow of poses. Its a pretty small center / room, but has a great family vibe to it :)
I am a regular member at another HIIT type gym and have never tried Yoga before. All my co-workers said I had to try Hot Yoga. I had finally tried out a free week at Warrior 1 Yoga and had no clue what I was doing. The instructors were amazing and fantastic and I absolutely loved my free week there that I signed up for even more classes. It is almost a treat to go workout at Yoga and I look forward to going every time. If you are a male and you have always thought of yoga as a “female” thing I challenge you to try it out it will kick your butt!
I have been practicing yoga for about 4 years now, but I do not claim to be an expert. However, I would like to inform all those new yogis of some concerns I have about this studio.I was in town on Sunday and decided to attend an 8am hot yoga class. The place and location is nice, but I was greatly disappointed by the staff who checked me in and the instructor. The staff was rude--I was initially a bit shocked about the price and the staff member along with someone who was sitting with her, were very rude in their response. The yoga instructor--very nice girl, but she needs a lot of help with her postures. There were many times, I looked over at her and my knees hurt for her. For instance, during a simple Crescent Pose, the instructors knees were protruding inward and toes were pointed sideways instead of to the front, as were other yoga students. This is very alarming, as it can cause serious knee injuries. The majority of the students that I could see, about 10-15 from where I was, all had bad form. Knees protruding inward, swinging their arms way back during a side angle instead of by their ears, improper chaturanga and so on.Moreover, this is the first yoga studio that I have been to where the instructor is not walking around and correcting students forms nor was she providing any breathing cues or proper posture cues. This is probably the reason why everyone in my purview thought it was proper to have knees and toes angled in and not forward in a Crescent pose.
I have been going to this place for 3 weeks now and I really like the facility and all the instructors. They all have their unique style and great personality, which makes it less boring and much more interesting each time. Love the cool lemongrass towel and a popsicle at the end. It reminds me of my time in Thailand! However, I do wish for one improvement. I am new to yoga. Only practiced Bikram in the past. I wish for the instructors to be a bit more descriptive and provide correction in postures as we practice. Often times, I am just not sure if I am doing it correctly, and which part of the body should feel the stretch or tension. Some instructors are better at that than others. Other than that, I really like the vibe and I cant imagine going anywhere else!
After years of various fitness pursuits, hot yoga has renewed my spirit and love for fitness. Yoga has helped me to redefine what healthy means; mind, body, and spirit. I have hot yoga to thank for that.
Just try a combination of lipolight and daily hot buti and sculpt yoga daily. I promise youll see an intense transformation. The teachers here are fantastic!
Its a nice yoga place, but Ive started to receive spam emails for some kind of hair boutique and when I try to unsubscribe, it tells me that the list it received my info from was from Warrior 1. I used my email for classes, not to be pandered to by a third party company. Really shameful.
Awesome!!! I am new to town and they welcomed me and Dana taught a great class. Thank you
