I had an amazing experience with these guys!!! Both professionals that can out were friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions! They told me what needed to be done, they ordered the parts and returned to complete the job. It did take longer because they had to order parts and with all the craziness in the world right now shipping did take several days even though they put in overnight shipping. They also explained so it was no surprise...they were honest and upfront about everything they were doing! I am so glad we ordered the extended coverage!!!! Came in to get my phone looked at. They said I had to have an appointment. I made it through apple app. Came in they said they couldn’t without a serial number I got it from Verizon and gave it to them. They said that was not the number without running it. And to make another appointment. Got home looked at the piece they needed and it was the exact number I gave them. Waiting on the phone 1 hour on hold to speak to someone when I got home. All they said was I could call Apple or make another appointment there was nothing they could do. They are not professional at all and lazy. There is about 3-4 of them just standing around.
Very friendly but they had my laptop for too long.
I was recommended to contact the geek squad and told they could do repairs on appliances,but when I tried to call and talk to someone to make an appointment it was an hour and a half of wait time or more so I went through their virtual agent and made an appointment which they canceled right afterwards so I had to do it all over again and I was told they were having issues with their virtual agents and I couldn’t get the appointment back so I made another for a later time.I was called the day of the service,(now I haven’t had a dryer for over a week)just to be told I’m supposed to have their tech services which is usually $200 but he’ll give it to me for $100. & that they don’t just do regular repairs without us having that service, but he said he would ask his manager, so he called me back and said she said the same thing but this one time he could do it but just to come and estimate the problem would be $100 & labor would be $100 & I would have to pay that before he would even order the part or parts it needed.This was a huge waste of time for me cause the dryer wasn’t even an expensive one and if I’m paying this much for repair I might as well buy a new one,I never thought it would be such a hassle to go through the geek squad,I will never try to go through their services and I can’t anyway unless I pay for their program ahead than I get a discount and it’s only $50 to look at it, but again the program is $200 & than they supposedly only charge $50 to come out after and than I forgot how much for repair and everything else, huge headache not worth my time they should specify you have to have their services First for them to do any repairs cause I sure didn’t know
I review people not companies and Luis gave me a great experience as a first time customer of Geek Squad. I was late to my appointment by a whole hour and had to reschedule halfway home Lewis called me and said that there was opening and asked if I wanted to bring my phone in. Which was a huge relief because I wanted to take care of my errands early, He had my phone ready before the pick up time and shined it up and had it ready to go! If anybody at Geek Squad is reading this that matters I would like to say that Luois deserves some type of recognition because he is the perfect representation of what an employee should be and that is very hard to find in Bakersfield. The employee who manages himself gives the best service. I will be bringing my girls phone back to have the speaker fixed in hopefully I can run into somebody just like him.
Trust me, stay far away from Geek Squad unless you want to pay $200 for a misdiagnosis and get charged $400 for an obsolete $20 motherboard, when the only problem was a simple viral infection. True story from one of my first customers. Not to mention those weirdos are always snooping through everyones photos. Two of these employees have called me asking if Im hiring, they couldnt even answer the most basic computer related questions. Maybe these guys are okay for mounting your TV for an insanely high price, but do not rely on them to repair a computer since they do not have the intelligence or know how to finish the job properly.
We had 2 TVs mounted on wall.They were on time and extremely professional!Job was completed and they made sure space was clean before they left.

The best buy representatives were really helpful. They tried their best to help the geek squad employees do their job.The geek squad employees on the other hand are unknowledgable about any of the tech they are working on and refuse to explain why something doesnt work. This coupled with the wait time and their appointment system made for an overall bad experience.In the two hours I was there, one red-haired/bearded representative, who I didnt get the name of, helped 2 people. Only 2. It was worse then waiting at the DMV.If you want to get any technical support for your devices and value your time, I would recommend going literally anywhere else or googling how to do it yourself. It will often be cheaper and faster. For any hardware issues like cracked screens and what not I recommend doing it locally because they will charge you 85 dollars to ship it to determine if it can be fixed. If it cant be fixed you wont get your 85 dollars back. If it can you have to pay for the materials in addition to labor and the 85 dollars you already gave them.
Made an appointment through Apple. Waited 40 minutes without anyone helping me. Left in frustration.
Its been three weeks without my soundbar. Not a big deal, but they must use turtles for shipping. Took one day to actually fix it. Two weeks of shipping and still dont have it. There is no way to track my item. Just says sent. They also have no exact tracking info. Terrible service.
Had a 5 year warranty for a 55 4k smart tv, still had 2years almost left on it. Started to have problems with the replacement they gave me the first time around. I explained the issues to the tech support over the phone and he said it should be motherboard issues. They sent a new motherboard to my home which i never opened i just placed unopened in my living room, the technicians show up and broke my tv completely, and i mean before yeah i had some issues but now it would not turn on after they tried working on my tv. They made me wait over a month and finally offered a new replacement and made me buy another warranty and said it has everything your old tv did but except some brighter lighting sounds good right? Nope. Cant chrome cast netflix cant do that with hulu or crunchyroll or many streaming services i use except youtube. So now to me it seems Ive been lied to. Also the picture quality is not nearly as good as my last tv. I mainly use crunchyroll and youtube so this is an issue. It took over a month because your technicians broke my tv to get me a replacement then i get told a lie to get me to accept one of the 2 not so great offers? This is terrible business. I will never buy a tv from best buy with geek squad support again. I waited for over a month to have your technicians tinker with parts to try an fix my tv your company broke to get a replacement that cannot do everything my tv thats 2years older could. Yes there are some newer features that are nice but i was told it could do everything except the same lighting and it had more features. Doesnt seem that way. My tv that was made 2+ years before could at least chromecast what i wanted. To make things worse your company broke my tv trying to replace a motherboard and made me wait over a month for replacement then had me buy a new 5yr warranty(250$) for the replacement you gave me. That is not right.
Went in to get my PS4 Pro serviced for overheating and a couple months later it started to overheat again and now has a corrupt HDD. Also when they gave it back to me it had a medium sized dent in the back panel.
Did not have to wait in line to have my computer check out. The Technician was knowledgable in what he was doing.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. It wouldnt let me put nagative stars so i had to put one star. Geek Squad is terrible on your phone do not get it. All they do is give you the run around no one there can read notes I have been dealing with them for the last monthe and a half and 30 + hours on the phone and still have not gotten my refund and on top of that threw away my phone that is a lease. HORRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE
