My partner came in to get their laptop fixed given it was working incredibly slow. I recommended this place given the good reviews and was hoping for at least decent customer service. Instead the gentleman that assisted us was generally rude and dry- making us feel stupid for bringing in a laptop to be fixed. Even when speaking on the phone with them to discuss the diagnosis it was like the game was to belittle the customer. We don’t think we’re particularly difficult people, we just wanted our laptop fixed, which hey, they did their job in a timely fashion (3 days) I am not arguing that. Just maybe in the future have like a touch of kindness towards your customers rather than making them feel stupid for even stepping through your doors and asking for help.To reply to your reply: thank you for the response- your work was fine and timely, I’m not questioning that. Just having a decent amount of respect and kindness towards us would have went a long way. Regardless, thank you for the response- best of luck to your business going forward & take care.

Took my yellow iPhone 11 here the guy was super nice I thought there was a lot of damage because the screen was total he fix it like brand new it works so good ty sooo much will be back in future! Great customer service and verry good place ty soooo much for everything!!!

Been here twice for problems with my phones. They fixed them both at a reasonable price and only took an hour.

They were extremely accommodating. Fixed my issues within minutes, and a number of others for no extra charge. Everyone was very professional, and welcoming. These stores are so much better than large corporate repair shops.

I went yesterday because I had a broken screen on my phone. The Cellphone repair employees fixed it super fast and helped me with other technical problems I didn’t know how to use on my phone. I recommend them and I will be coming back next time I need them . I normally don’t leave reviews but they went above and beyond my expectations.

I came in to get my lgv60 back cover replaced after I droped it and it split into pieces. Thankfully, these guys were able to order a new back glass for my phone in black. The process took about half an hour on a Wednesday morning and it only cost me $60. Im super happy my phone is like brand new! Super professional 5 stars!

We had a computer that we needed up and running again in a hurry. The owner has answered the phone right away, I was able to bring the computer in right away and it was ready the very next day. The owner was courteous and professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone. He even fixed a problem that we didnt feel could be!

I needed some mounting screws for a motherboard and the rep instantly made negative comments about the mobo. He didnt have the screws I needed and couldnt recommend any options for me nor offered to order any. I took my business somewhere else.

More interested in selling their overstock inventory than getting you what you want. Ugly cases and pre-builts. If you want something they dont have in stock they charge you a premium for building your rig. They are extremely unresponsive, dont expect anyone to call you back or care about your project.

They are a RIP off don’t go there save your money! They have one price on line and then double charge you in store! When you do a refund without an open box (meaning box sealed closed) 2 hrs later they made me wait till the next day to charge me a restocking fee that is to ONLY apply to open merchandise! TURN BACK DONT COME HERE!

They always try to make their customers happy. They go above and beyond any other repair store in town. Being one of the last brick & mortar stores selling computer components has got to be tough. They cant price match most online prices. Theyre very helpful and knowledgeable. Their $50 diagnostic covers so much, they will definitely determine whats wrong with any system.

Great place was in and out same day.Originally went to Best Buy and that was a mistake. They gave me wrong parts and just caused me more headache. The computer depot was dope didn’t try to take my money or anything which is shocking because most company seem like that’s all they want matter a fact he even offered me my money back when he was not able to install the drive I wanted because it was not compatible with my computer. Over priced equipment with incompetent employees, the perfect mix for a bad business. Everyone here would better if they went here solely to get there screen on a mobile device fixed. All pc parts are marked up and you can find them cheaper legitimately any where else. Argumentative employees/ over priced/ selection is always bear minimal. Won’t be coming back.

I was trying to build a PC for the first time, couldnt figure out what was wrong, and they helped me get it all setup without issue. They were very kind and understanding, too.

I enjoy the service provided by the Computer Depot. I had an older laptop that I didnt want to get rid of but needed for my school assignments. Took it to them, they ran a diagnostic and provided feedback on ways to make my laptop faster. They replaced my old harddrive for a SSD and after a couple of days I am very pleased with the performance. Unfortunately, now that the computer is faster I noticed how slow my internet speed is. I appreciate the work that they have done and will be taking my devices to them in the future.

If you buy a part without going through the diagnostics process ($50), then youll accept with the condition of no returns.

From start to finish they were extremely professional. I had a cracked screen on a laptop and a battery that needed to be replaced on a Samsung phone. They took care of it for a very reasonable price. What impressed me the most was they were more concerned about making sure I was satisfied than just getting a product out. For instance, when a couple additional problems arose, they took care of them quickly and included them as part of the original price. All in all, I was extremely satisfied.

The staff were very friendly and provided great customer service. I was able to get my iphone screen fixed at a very great price in 1 hour! They gave me my phone as if it were brand new. I was very satisfied with this place. Highly recommended

Place is a Joke

The service here was excellent from the beginning. I first came here to buy a case and found one almost immediately. then I had issues with my new mother board cause if a bios update error and there were able to slice it within a day the fastest I have ever seen. They were explained in great detail on what they were going to do and assured me every tho g will go smoothly. I recommend them as the first people you go to for your computer needs.

Good service. I accidentally deleted some pictures on my smart phone they were very helpful with retrieving the pictures. they actually were able to retrieve a lot more pictures than I actually expected them to. the data recovery process is timely but well worth it

My experience with Computer Depot Bakersfield has been a positive one. I really had no expectation of saving any of the data off my Mac Hard drive after I fried my computer. This place is a joke and extremely overpriced. I was looking for a heat sink for my processor that is $34.99 on every website that sells pc parts. The man tells me he has it but its about $70 after tax. If that is what this place is doing to there customers I hope to god you go somewhere else. Thats a huge mark up. Imagine what they charge you for other products.

I went in to get data out of my s6 active to a s8 active, went to other places and they couldnt help me out because my s6 active screen wasnt working. They were the only ones that helped me out and get all my data to my new phone. Very professionals and they know what they are doing.

Oh my God, these guys are so great... I took my MacBook Pro to the Apple Store and they told me the motherboard is damaged and it would cost $1000 to fix. These guys fixed it for under $150 and helped me access my data and re activate my office programs. They are so knowledgeable and friendly.

Bought one phone, could only talk on speaker .they said I did somthing to it .which I didnt then they charged 50.00 dollars to get a phone that works ..second phone had a problem where didnt work when I plugged into stereo. Soo I gave up and now Im stuck with phone .other than that .they are nice, just not honest .make sure everything works when you buy something there .

I took my computer and printer to make them work together. For some reason there was a communication problem. My printer had stopped working. It turned out the problem was much more complicated than initially thought. It took much more time for them to fixe it but still charged me the same amount as initially estimated, not to mention the time they took to explain the problem when I went to pick it up. This place is a joke. A couple of weeks ago I went to buy a hard drive for my computer. Believe or not, they didnt have a single hard drive over 500 GB. I dont know how they call themselves a computer store when they dont even have a hard drive collection. To make matters worse, they wanted to charge me $120 for that drive. I went to BestBuy and got a 2 TB hard drive for $114. Yes, it was 4 times bigger hard drive for $6 less from BestBuy.

I am in the piano business for six years selling Steinway & Sons pianos and their related lines, Boston and Essex pianos, as well as Roland digital pianos.i used my computer every day for six years for every thing from making up price tags, writing the text for my piano method and e-mails. etc. four weeks ago my computer crashed and totally froze up. I called computer depot who was able to successfully extract my files and save them to a disc. They then put in a new hard drive, downloaded my files and installed Windows 7 and my Microsoft office to fully enable computer with Word, Power Point and Excell. and provide it with an upgraded protection against future intrusions of viruses. These people, Mo, Ryan Job, Oliver and Ruth not only know what they are doing, they are extremely generous with their time in providing me, an original Dinosaur, with a whole lot on information both in the store and on the telephone.They were not only patient but were extremely generous with their time.I highly recommend them.

They over charge for things that you can get for $10 to $20 they charge you 60 & 70 but the people in the store customers service is good. Well at least you can get that for the.money you spending in there.🤦🏾‍♂️😂

The 1st time I came here there was no parking at all anywhere. The 2nd time I came here was at 9:00 a.m. I waited till 915. the doors were locked and the lights were off. They said they open at 9:00 a.m. but no one showed up. I gave it one star because both tries I didnt even make it into the front door.

I havent ever taken a computer or electronic device for repair there but I do know that there wasnt bad customer service at all. The people who worked there were very kind and helpful with good advice and suggestions. They had a good selection of RAM and the same goes for there processors. They had a smaller, but still decent amount of towers and power supplies, but those were all good most being high end. They also had a good amount of hard drives and GPUs. The most extensive thing they carried though was there motherboards they had an entire shelf devoted to a variety of motherboards with a very reasonable price tag, some even lower then the super companies that can choose their price tag with more ease. They had another row devoted to items like internet boxes and similar devices. The last shelf was filled with used computers, all being at a good price. On the bottom row, they had scrap and repairable computers, most in which the price was as much as the tower or processor alone and used. My favorite part was the customer service which was out standing. They helped me find half the components needed o build my computer at a minimum of $10 less then the larger companies charged.

This is a long story, I had a problem with a Dell laptop computer, the hard drive went bad. Dell wouldnt do anything to help me. I went to Computer Depot in Bakersfield and they were able to help me and I spent a lot less than what Dell was checking me. I would recommend Computer Depot to anyone, this guys are really knowledge of what they do.
