Just wasted one-half hour trying to contact the Geek Squad desk at Avon, Ohio store. Best Buy phone system will not allow direct contact with store at all. All calls are routed to national customer service, which has 24 minute wait. This is a joke. Best Buy just lost a $2000 plus day from me.

Took my phone in since its having some issues. I was helped by a great guy named Kobe.He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Ask for Kobe he knows his stuff 😊

Awesome service and patience

The tech was very nice, but I opted to replace my laptop screen on my own. Unbeknownst to me, I found out they dont actually do the repairs themselves. For a fee of $85 they send your equipment somewhere else. Then you have the replacement parts cost and labour. It was going to cost $300-$400 to fix something that buy doing it myself cost $65 and 15 minutes of my time. Guess thats what I get for trying to be lazy.

Horrible experience getting TVs installed.

DO NOT GO HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER OR PERSONAL DEVICES HERE!!! Long story short, the tech lied about accessing my bank account while it was in there for repairs, works at the avon geek squad, i knew this because asked my bank and they confirmed ip address was from Avon and it happened while in for repairs, will continue to go to previous tech shop

We hired and payed for geek squads associates to come out and install a wall mount for out television. They arrived and refused to install the mount we had purchased previous. After being unsuccessful in selling their merchandise to us we were told that they would return the following day to install the tv but we had to go and purchase a new wall mount from Best Buy by the next day. They wouldn’t give a time frame and didn’t even put in an official change in the service. We decided not to go this rout and get a refund for the services they didn’t perform. We were told we had to contact the store we contacted originally. We did so that day and a gentleman named Brett said he would make sure we got our refund and call us in 24 hrs to confirm. If not we would see it in a week. We waited for a week and neither saw the refund or heard back from Brett. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service who said that the technicians marked the job as completed.... so they took the money and said well it’s their problem now. Now we are being assured we will see the refund in another 3-5 business days. We shall see.....What a hassle and how extremely frustrating to have to jump through hoops because of their employees deliberate misconduct. In the end I had to speak with 5 different employees at three different levels to get my money returned to me. So disappointed as these are one of a few companies that perform these services.

Always getting wrong food

I bought a new tablet and Stephan Fetcko at the Avon store Geek Squad was fantastic. He set up my new tablet and transferred thevdata/apps from my old tablet. He answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything I needed to before I left.

If you dont mind waiting a week for your computer to get fixed, bring it to these guys. Also if you dont mind having to go back again for them to fix the same problem they were supposed to fix the first time, go to these guys. Theres a reason BestBuy closed over 100 of their stores in the United States.
