I am scheduled to have all the windows in my home replaced. The experience thus far is stellar. I have had contact with four people all of whom are wonderful. So helpful, friendly and professional. The initial phone response to my online inquiry was immediate providing me with details of the process. The in home consultation was low pressure and informative. I had a list of questions all of which were answered in detail. After signing on for the project a follow up visit was done to confirm the exact measurements. Again very friendly and professional.The fourth person I have worked with is Susan. She is doing an amazing job of coordinating the project. I have done so many home projects and never had such a great go to person!Looking forward to the installation ! Joanne

On May 28, 2020 Jason McDuffie came to our house to do a demonstration of Renewal by Andersens windows and did what any typical salesman would do. He did a demonstration, crunched some numbers, and praised the corporation. Following day, there were issues.1. I was quoted approximately $60,000.00 at a rate of 2.99%, but when I received the contract, it changed to 5.99%. When I messaged him about wanting to cancel due to them starting off on the wrong foot, he pretty much assumed and stated that I was canceling because we couldnt afford the windows.2. When it came time to install the windows, the crew showed up several hours late. As a result they ended up staying way later than they were supposed to that day. On day two only half of the crew showed up, which made the installation even longer. No fault to the crew. This falls on management. Noe (Crew Leader) and his crew did the best they could with what they were given.3. They installed the wrong window in our bathroom. It glass was supposed to be cascade, but instead was clear glass. So the glass had to be painted using a flat white frosted spray paint. It has been over two months and Renewal by Andersen has yet to replace the glass.4. They installed a bent screen on my front window. This still has not been replaced and it has been over two months.5. Nine plastic clips were broken, which means we cannot mount the valences back over the top of our windows. I have called their office twice regarding this matter and have been told that I will receive a call-back at a later time. Once again, the clips have been broken and valences missing for over two months.6. During installation, they damaged some of the exterior wall. They repaired the damage by caulking it, but did not prime or paint it. This has been exposed to the elements for over two months.The list and photos goes on. There is way too much for me to type and show. For the amount of money we spent ($60K) on having new windows installed, the experience and service has been a nightmare. But what does Renewal by Andersen care? After all they got their money, or should I say our money.Please do not hire Renewal by Anderson for any type of glass, door, or window installation. Choose anyone, and I do mean anyone, but them.

Thoroughly enjoyed the preliminary discussions of types, costs, measurements, installation and time table for windows for my home. Not installed yet but will revisit this review when that occurs. Renewal by Andersen is a wonderful turnkey solution to new windows. We have an older ranch home with beautiful stone extending over the sides of our window frames, but that was no problem for our crew. Dominic and Ivan and crew arrived on time, got straight to work, and transformed our home in ONE day. Their work is fantastic; both professional and aesthetically-pleasing.Yes: you *will* pay more for Renewal by Andersen. And if you do, you absolutely will NOT regret the end result. Beautiful, substantial, well-built windows, installed in a snap by a fantastic crew. What’s not to love about that???

We have installed Andersen Windows before, and were now replacing our upstairs windows. The installer, Jessie, showed up on time and ready to get the job done. He did a fantastic job, first putting up dust barriers and ground cloths, then removing the old windows. At this point he found and fixed some problems from the old install. Then proceeded to install the new windows and do a fantastic job replacing the outside trim, and making sure the job was done right so that we do not have issues in the future. The new windows look great, the room is already much quieter, and we are looking forward to seeing how the comfort level improves.

The crew that came to install my windows were great. They communicated when they were on their way, approximate time of arrival and were very polite. They were extremely friendly and courteous.

Definitely would not recommend this company. We chose Renewal by Andersen in Austin because their whole concept is a quick and easy installation that *should* be much easier than hiring a contractor. After all weve been through with this company, a contractor would have been better.First, Brett Neilsen of the central Texas sales office met with us on February 5, and sold us on the idea that this would be the easiest, most streamlined way of putting a door in where a window used to be in our home.They set up an installation manager to come check out the space where the project would be completed about 5 days later. That installation manager did not prepare us for what actually needed to happen, despite their no-surprises checklist-- which was a whole mess of electrical work.When the day came for the project on April 21, Jesse came out and immediately noticed that this project had not been properly set up by the installation manager. They had to cut the power in part of our house, and cut into the dry wall to move some wiring. And then, once that was figured out, and Jesse unpacked the door, it was broken. These doors and windows are supposed to take on hurricane-force winds and damage...so, its damaged in shipping?The company had all kinds of gifts sent to our house like cookies and flowers, which was a nice gesture at the time. However, this still is ongoing...About two weeks later, we learned the door wouldnt be able to be installed until June 7. There was no option of getting this expedited or anything. So, a project that we booked in early February, that was supposed to be completed on April 21, is still not complete as of today, June 4.In addition to that, our walls are all cut up, and were being told that cant be fixed until June 28!All during this, I have reached out to our salesman, Brett Nielsen, as well as copying the central Texas sales office, and havent heard A WORD. Looks like they just cashed in on their commission checks, and couldnt be bothered to answer any emails. I have had to miss multiple days of work, and will have to miss more, because of all of these mishaps.One day installation? Yeah, right.So, save your money and look elsewhere. This company is highly unprofessional, not good at fixing issues and terrible with communication. I will never, ever be using them again.

We bought 8 replacement Anderson windows from Larry Emmons today. He was very polite and professional. He actually talked us out of replacing a beautiful French door. The installation will be in about 10 weeks.

This business uses underhanded and downright nasty tactics to get people to look at their advertisements. I just received an advertisement meant to look like an official city notice to vacate from far off. This is not funny. Eviction moratorium has expired and now people are being evicted more than ever. Your use of this to make people look at your advertisements is completely unprofessional.

The windows are extremely well made. Their styling is admired even by their competitors. The installation crew was very knowledgeable and careful to protect their work areas. The price is high, but we felt Andersens quality was worth it. We will use this company again for additional windows.

The entire process was good, but the installation crew that came to my home were exemplary. They were professional, worked like a well oiled machine. They also were fun to be around.

Very professional and well oiled machine. Cleaned up after themselves and took their trash with them. Walked me through how to use the windows. Great experience from initial consultation to installation. The installation process was the best I’ve ever seen. No mess at all - they vacuumed along the way so no debris spread through the house.

Top-notch professionalism, amazing quality of product. The Andersen windows replaced 25-year-old dual-paned builder-grade trash windows. They were installed over a two-day period in April. As of our August electricity bill, our summertime power usage is down nearly 40%. If theyd told me it would have made that big a difference I would have bet it was marketing hype. We can have the blinds open without superheating the house - first time ever. Highest recommendation.

He not only provided expertise on design and aesthetic, but was able to note and address areas 9f damage and concern that would need tending to during installation. We have not yet had our windows installed, but are very confident in the superior product and customers service weve received thus far.Their price may be a bit higher than others, but the product and composite material will outshine the competitors any day. My windows were 20 years old cloudy and hard to open and clean. My new windows are great! Color looks good against the white stone on my house. The install team were friendly and polite. They instantly became a part of the family. Lol

I had ordered some new windows for a house I just purchased from Renewal by Andersen. The previous owners had Pella windows installed around the house and I was far from impressed. My salesman (Eric) was very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process. Initially estimated to take 4-6 weeks to make the windows, was glad they had them done right at 4 weeks. I was able to get an install team sent out within a week because of the complicated install, otherwise I could’ve had a team in 3 days. Now, my installion team (Martin & Jason) were terrific, they were extremely professional and polite. The way they worked together you could tell they had been a team for a while, every movement looked seamless, and the final product truly showed their skill. They were able to get all 17 of those nasty Pella windows removed and replaced with 8 Andersen windows in a day, and then had to come back the following day to do the exterior trim. All in all, probably took 10-11 hours from start to finish. I’m beyond satisfied with these windows and will be getting them back out here in the near future to do the rest of my windows upstairs.
