I would also like to write, I appreciation on your noticed achievements to our community . We have lived in our apartment here for almost 7 years. You have been a perfect example of a landlord. You have always been accessible and there for us any time of day with the most positive and lovely attitude. We have lived in many other complexes with many different landlords. Never have we had one as extraordinary as Jessica. She is never too busy and she makes even the smallest problems a priority. Not only does Jessica care for our complying tenants but improves our life style. She is constantly making our building safer and pleasant every day/week/month. She respects all of us the same and allows us to feel like a community. Because of the wonderful people Jessica chooses to rent to, we can say many of the other tenants are friends we will have for a lifetime. We will always have wonderful memories of our time at Brandon Oaks of San Antonio and that’s mainly because of all the hard work, effort Jessica and the maintenance department put into their job. To say Sandalwood USA Property Management Inc is lucky to have her would be an understatement. She and the maintenance department is truly one of a kind!Joey

Only one star because required.We are currently under new management of Sandalwood Management and this transition has apparently resulted in the loss of all dog, car and even some tenant records. (All of which I was told by last property management were kept up to date. Especially since apartment complexes are legally obligated to keep them on file for an extended period of time.) Proof being my roommate and her dog got bite by another dog on the property and staff said they couldnt help since all dog records were lost. Sticking my roommate with an unexpected vet bill and our property with a vicious dog who its owners cannot control and is left constantly on the loose.Also, apparently there is no timeframe to pay rent. In November you could only pay on the 3rd, that one day. If you tried before or after you got stuck with a late fee. Ive been trying to get answers for all of the above by contacting apartment complex by all means provided, Sandalwood Management email, specific complex Connection email, Sandalwood Management business fb (where I just got blocked for answering the question I was asked), through online portal requests (all of which ARE seen bc they get cancelled) and calling in (just got an endless ringing to where I couldnt leave a VM). Needless to say communication is not a top priority here nor by its management. Guess you get what you pay for. Save yourself the trouble and just stay clear of them if you can!

Their property dwell at clear lake is the most un-professional I have ever worked with they never answer their phones have on the line for 2 hours to make sure my names was removed from the lease they are legally required to tell me and has been dodging my calls for a week

I took Country Park to court today for towing my vehicle for parking on the property. The rule is your suppose to have a parking decal. Thats all fine and well but the office was closed and there is no 24 hour maintenance to issue you out the decals. Well after purchasing a new car my car got tow not even 24 hours after purchasing. I went to court and Country Park doctored up two documents that are not in my original lease. It is clearly copies from the tow trucking company because their letter head is on the documents they fix. They are all about taking hardworking peoples money.When I got home from court Country Park notified me that they were terminating my Lease. Please be mindful of your decision to move here.

Horrible maintenance and manager at Laguna Shores Corpus Christi location. Has cost me $$$ in electricity bills from an A/C issue lasting over 3 months. Scheduled for new refrigerator has been almost a week without, having to buy coolers and ice, food having to be thrown out costing me more$$. Last year went 8 days without hot water. Corporate won’t return calls, manager doesn’t have enough integrity to keep me updated on issues. I always have to call and call...Will be filing a complaint with Texas Apartment Association!Why should I ATTEMPT to contact!! I left messages for Jim Jackson in June AND Sterling Shorbe in July NO RESPONSE!!!

If you are looking at a room that is under sandalwood management, theres a garuntee that its going to be a poorly run complex where they do not pay attention to tenants or resolve issues in a timely manner. Last resort only.

I lived in Brandon Oaks apartments in San Antonio, Managed my this company. Literally the worst living experience I have ever had. Almost all staff is shady, no one returns your calls, blatant lies through emails and to your face as well. Office hours are from 8-5, however no one ever answers the phones or calls back and if they do are extremely rude. Almost completely purposely rude to anyone and everyone. They speak to you as if they dont have the time or need for your concerns or questions. The only thing they are punctual about is billing you for anything and everything they possibly can ASAP with no relent or mercy in any regards, and then make it impossible to communicate with them, so you WILL get extra fees wherever they can charge you.Maintenance took 2 months, costing me the highest electricity bill i have ever received for my AC and i had to fight for another month to receive any compensation at all when clearly my AC unit was broken, seeing as how it needed to be fixed 6 different times to still barely give us any cold air. My 4 year old and wife and i had to basically sleep with just sheets or less to stay cool at night during the summer season.My 4 months I lived there I had to fight management and maintenance because my balcony was so broken i could have sneezed on the guard rail and it would have crumbled. At any given time my 4 year old could have been in serious danger or even fatally injured himself because of it.I was met with rude emails and disregard for any of my families concerns.The solution for almost two weeks after finally getting in contact with management was two large industrial sized zip ties to hold up my balcony guard rail until they had a third party company come and literally just drill the corners together with two more boards. Did I mention the railing was also dry rotting?DO NOT LIVE IN ANY PLACES MANAGED BY SANDALWOOD.I cannot even get my security deposit back when I spent two days scrubbing everything and deep cleaning every inch of carpet after our move. They told us that we took drawers from the fridge and would be charged for that as well as several other things that were all complete BS, and after confronting them about it, apologized and said oh never mind and are still trying to dismiss our family.Please read this review. Do not put your loved ones or friends through anything we had to deal with.If I could give this company 0 stars i would.

I live in sandalwood management apartments in Austin, TX. We have lived here going on a year. Thank God my lease is coming up so we can finally move. My house has flooded from a broken pipe.. They fixed it but I still have the hole in the wall that was never patched. Now my floor in the living room to the kitchen is warping. The floor trimming is warping. My bathroom shower has a cracks by the drainage. My upstairs bathroom floor is warpped you step in the bathroom and your foot sinks in you feel like youre going to fall through the floor and the toilet seat moves. The AC doesnt work. The AC looks older than me. Roach invested. I can go on and on. They havent responded to my email detailing my list of problems that need to be fixed. I know my neighbors have the same problems from what they tell me. I hope we get out of here. I hope the next person who lives here doesnt go through the same problems. My advice is dont live here because they paint a pretty picture of living here but once youre here its hell on earth.. I pray that the people who owns these never have to live in a place like this.. Single mom of 2 children living in sandalwood managed apartment @ Huntington Hacienda 2 in Los Angeles, CA. Cant complain. Management snd staff are great. Yes they are very busy, but are on top of everything that needs fixing. Apartments are well kept and tenants are respectful. This is a place that I call home and can honestly say that I feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommended.

Ive worked with Sandalwood Management twice: once in Residential Property Management and in Commercial Property Management. No company is perfect and there is always room for improvement, but the teamwork in Sandalwood is phemonenal! Both positions that I held was led by wonderful property managers and they are very willing to teach you how to do your job and how to excel at your job.Nothing is perfect, of course, and there are challenges, but the people that you work with definitely make everything worth it. I really hope that Ill be in a state where Sandalwood has Property soon!

If I could rate this a -10 I would. Management sucks they dont wont fix anything and when you call them out they want to have an attitude. Andrea is one of the worst people I have met, her attitude stinks, her mannerism sucks and she is a terrible manager. Please never rent from this company save your money they will take it and chew and spit you out.I have lived on Fall Manor for 11years and started out with a GREAT person Kathy Hilton after she left it has been going down hill. After living in my duplex for 11yrs my toilet started running 8 months later it was still running, I kept putting in work orders and waiting for someone to come out. Well I finally got fed up and called letting them know I was calling a plumber out go figure they got mad and refused to resign my lease that was up the same month I got fed up with the run around. THE THING, Tanya East ( area Manager) CALLED me with this bad ass attitude and told me to get out in one week needless to say you cant make a person move in a week of resigning a lease she was so nasty and rude I was left speechless. Andrea sent the maintenance man the very next day with a piece of paper that said get out by the end of Dec. 2015, I moved Dec 5 and now Im treated like a grown woman. These people need to understand having a attitude and not being happy where I stay is not a reason to uproot a family who has been living there for 11 years.I want anyone and everyone who reads this to understand that grown people deserve respect and to be treated like they would like to be treated. Tanya East and Andrea need a job on a warehouse floor where they never interact with people . STAY AWAY from these people. Kathy Hilton you are truly missed they need people like you back Ive moved on but family will never forget how poorly 11yr tenants got treated. JC

Your corporate number is a fake scam just like your properties are. I was robbed at gun point at your property and the manager refused to give me a new apartment then I was robbed again. The owner went through my apartment and found a tobacco pipe. After not giving any notice of entry and has since not allowed me to release. I dont have illegal drugs in my apartment. But your apartment manager has gone after me. And allowed harm to come my way.I will be contacting my attorney with possible legal action against your property as I have reached out for months with no answer back

I’ve lived here for almost 4yrs. And the office staff have gone out of their way to help their tenants when needed. If you’ve experience crappie service well it’s changed dramatically so has the property. But there’s still tenants that don’t care about the property they live in. Still throwing trash on the property . Making look it awful for our tenants that care where they live. But one last thing the leasing office does need window coverings. Doesn’t look business like for future tenants. Inside it’s awesome.

I have tried contacting corporate in regards to my concerns but have yet to hear back from anyone. The manager of my complex actually informed me that corporate directed her to reach out, even though I contacted them to avoid that in the first place. They are quite unprofessional with dealing with issues which is unfortunate since I have been a resident at the Oaks of Northgate coming on 2 years. The last few months have been frustrating to say the least. Luckily I am aware and noticed my apartment crumbling (l had to leave at midnight once because I had a panic attack from fear that the apartment would collapse). I was told I could transfer without penalty so I know they were hiding something. Since transferring, the issues have increased and although I have been in my new unit less than a month, I WILL BE VACATING. Its a shame that business have no problem robbing you of your hard earned money but have zero respect in providing the service you deserve. I DO NOT recommend living here unless youre desperate. At least the maintenance staff is on point! The only positive thing left to say. #VeryUnhappyCustomerUpdate: So I can get a web reply on my negative review in a matter of 15 mins. but no call back...and IM supposed to call again...

I am a current resident at one of the communities and a tree fell inside of my vehicle. I have not received a call or anything about it. The tree was Rotten and they say it was in perfectly good condition and it wasnt. Totaled my vehicle and now they are avoiding me. Definitely illegal and I have someone to come look at the tree tomorrow morning.

I lived at one of their properties. I was robbed and they still put me out. They have no sympathy for their tenants at all. ALL THEY WONT IS THEIR MONEY. word of advice Dont let nothing happen to you because they wouldnt care if you were in the hospital about to die they will still want their money

Worst management company ever.I live in A complex manage my sandalwood in San Antonio Texas. I have been trying to get in touch with corporate for over a month I have called many different times of the day all calls go to voicemail The day.many many days and voicemail messages later and no one has reached out to me. These new parking restrictions we have our ridiculous and they need to be reevaluated there should be no reason why I have to sleep in my car to ensure it doesnt get towed When I have a warm home I pay for monthly do not give these people a chanceAnd please dont try to save face by asking me to call the customer service number that yall never answer

I live in one of the sandalwood properties in San Antonio...I have been having trouble with my AC unit for the following 3 weekends ...I been having to stay at motels because it is so hot in there and they say theres nothing wrong with the AC ...its not right that me and grandkids have to paying to stay somewhere else when I pay my rent on time always..today same thing I call office and tell them my AC is still throwing hot air and again they say maintainsman said there nothing wrong with it....I call sandalwood management to report this and all I get is voicemail I am so pissed that Im thinking of calling ksat 12 news...here I go having to look somewhere for us to stay again!!!

In my apartment a Ceiling fan came down on me out of the ceiling while running when I pulled cord, after being rigged from matinence guy. Causing me 4 dislocated disc in my spine, blurred vision in left eye with two hemorrhages, head trauma w severe headaches even lost my job and Sandlewwod only offered to pay my initial ER bill and fired the matinence man. They have treated me like horrible for months. Never once even asked how I was doing! Only cares about rent not tenants! 4 weeks after injury tried to evict me. I paid my rent on time up to the incident. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY EVER. Had to hire an attorney because of them.DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF PROPERTIES!!! They treat residents TERRIBLE! Make sure they are not the property management company before you rent!😡😡😡The owner of Sandlewood properties 😡MR. JOEL OSPOVAT is so dirty he sold one of his properties in SA, Evolve @1604 and had the phones/internet cut of before the new owner could transfer over. What decent business man does that. He is horrible!

This is the worst management company Ive ever come across. Completely unprofessional and absolutely do not care about their customers. Ive lived at Cimarron Crossing for 5 months and I wish I wouldve broken my lease when I had the chance. I have no idea why they are painting the complex when the entire place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It is so old and completely falling apart on the inside. Rats and ACS are a common problem here. The managers at this complex are TERRIBLE and have me worrying about my and my daughters safety. I have made multiple calls to Sandalwood and left multiple voice mails with multiple people and never get an answer or a call back. My and my daughters health have declined since being in these disgusting old apartments, and now our safety and privacy are being severely threatened. Stay away from Cimarron and Sandalwood or you will absolutely regret it!!!!

If I could Leave less I would we have had a complete change in staff 3 times. I have called and left 6 voicemails regarding my rent now I have an additional charge to go to court to be evicted even though they locked the online portal and arent open during a reasonable time frame for someone who works to make it into the office. I spoke with the new asst. manager and she simply stated they never received any calls or voicemails. I had a HOLE in my kids bathroom shower for a month and a half and everyday they said someone was coming and they cut the water off to the shower. My toilet in the master leaks everytime you flush it. my Dishwasher wasnt bolted in for 3 months that is a serious hazard as I have children. The paint that they used on the walls is so bad you cant wipe your walls to clean because the paint will come off and you see the old nasty off white colored paint. I have called and asked for a number to corporate and I was informed they had no number that I could email the regional director who happened to also be the vice president which made no sense to me Im not sure if she thinks may im naive or oblivious but a corporation doesnt have a phone number only an email. Makes no sense maybe I can get a call back or a response through this!

I have been in TWO different sandalwood management apartments, Brandon Oaks Apartments and Creek Crossing.Brandon Oaks - I looooved Brandon Oaks apartments, paid my rent on time and even renewed my lease, somehow they switched people in the office and then when i moved out they gave me a BIG BILL that was outrageous, they messed me over bad, i tried calling corporate all you get is answering machines, this company is like a fake company trying to get you for money, easy to get in but tough to get out.NOW THE MAJOR ONECREEK CROSSING APARTMENTS - I dont even know where to start here, well BAD ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, BAD PLUMBING PROBLEMS, RUDE MANAGEMENT IN OFFICE, AND HERE IS ANOTHER APARTMENTS WHO WILL MESS YOU OVER TOO AND DONT CARE ABOUT THERE TENANTS... BAD MAINTENANCE JUST BAD ALL AROUNDIF i ever see a Sandalwood Management again Im running and running far away from them... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!! -

HORRIBLE! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THERE RESIDENTS. MY AIR CONDITION WENT OUT ON A SATURDAY MORNING AND CORPORATE INFORMED ME SINCE IT WAS NOT OVER 85 I WAS NOT CONSIDERED A PRIORITY.
