Price was 20+% higher than the quote! My sister had the same experience with her bill 20+% higher. The excuse my bill was higher was that the chair was really old and crusty....Id have bought that excuse except my sisters items were not that old at all! The Estimator isnt new on the job, no excuse for IMO. The work was very good in both cases, the people that work there are very nice....just expect to get jacked at the end!

The best power coating work in all of Austin, hands down. Ive been through a few companies, and no one does it as good as Metalink. If I need to drop off something small, and I happen in to be in Northwest Austin, theyve saved me from having to drive out to the Southeast side of Austin. If its a big job, then yeah, its worth the drive, even if its an hr away, but its about 30min away from me and Im near the Domain.

I was looking for a fencing company to do a small residential job at my house and had no idea who to go to. One day I was at a baseball field that was entirely fenced in and I noticed how nice a job it was, so I saw the Metalink placard on the fence and gave them a call. Jimmy Navarro and I discussed my needs, I sent him a diagram I made and he sent me a quote in only a day or so. After I gave them a deposit, I was scheduled a couple of weeks later. On the day of the install, Jimmy arrived to introduce himself and the install crew followed right behind. We all went over the job, and the crew got to work. The men worked in the heat of a July day and kept a steady pace. Eight hours after arriving, they had finished and cleaned up everything. The fence was just a vinyl-coated chain link, but it looks wonderful. Their work was flawless -- on time, done to spec., and without a single glitch. This whole thing turned out to be the easiest, most care-free experience I had ever had with a contractor.

Just a note of thanks to Jimmy, Alan, Jorge and their Metalink team for the outstanding experience, from start to finish, with the purchase and installation of our chain link fence. We very much appreciate your assistance with the selection of fence color and height. We have received many compliments on the fence since it was installed. We are 100% satisfied with both the process and the product and will be looking to Metalink for any future fence needs that we might have.

I used metalink exclusively for my powder coating needs at the company I previously worked for. Gene always quoted me a fair price, a realistic time frame and I found that if Matt did the job for me it was spot on 99% of the time. In my current life I find I have powder coating needs from time to time. They put a beautiful black powder coat finish on the exterior of my hundred year old clawfoot tub before I took it to have the interior restored. I have several more projects coming up and theres no one else I would trust to handle it. I use them in spite of the fact that I now have to drive an hour to get to there.

Got some powder coating done for some Jeep parts. It was fantastic with a very quick turn around!

The product itself was excellent; however I had continual lack of communication issues with the project manager as well as significant delays in the completion of the job .

Not sure what happened with Howard, but the place did a great job and did it super fast! Price was higher than quoted, but the job got done and got done well.

The work environment is the worst. There is a red head lady that works in the office that sleeps with all of the shop help, they are all drinking at lunch, and the turnover of employees is super high.
