I’ll simplify it for you: you should use Austin Powder Coating. Elijah does great work, communicates about the process every step of the way, and makes good on his word.After a hellish home renovation, my partner and I realized our meticulously-chosen sink faucets did not match the rest of our fixtures. Curse our taste. We decided to get the faucets powder coated—the week before Christmas. We were dying to have them done, even though we knew we might have to wait until the new year. Elijah under-promised and over-delivered: we were fully content with his quote of a one-week turnaround time, but he got it done in a day. Obviously, I assume that turnaround times are always dependent on what’s going on in the shop at the time, so I wouldn’t always expect a twenty-four hour wait. But the point remains: the service was better than promised.What made the process even better was the Elijah is the absolute best communicator you could ask for. We chatted about powder colors, about how to remove and replace the rubber gaskets, and about what other items we may have coated in the future. He texted photos of the fixtures in-progress and made sure we knew when to expect them.Once we picked up our faucets, it turned out that we were missing a part. Elijah promised to coat a replacement for free if it turned out that we’d lost it. He could easily have blamed us and gotten all cagey about it. Instead, he made sure we knew that we’d have a complete sink one way or another, even if we had to wait for a replacement to come in. As it turned out, he found the piece the very next day! He met up with me on my way home from work to be sure we could get the piece functional as soon as possible. Way above and beyond, if you ask me—especially because another powder coating company in the area couldn’t even manage to procure the right samples.One note of caution, if you don’t have experience with powder colors: The shade we chose turned out to look a little bit darker than we imagined. Elijah met with us to talk it over, and we realized it’s because we’d chosen the shade for what it looked like on the flat sample. On the curved shape of the faucet, your eyes see the shadow more. All that to say: maybe pick a shade lighter than you think you need? Or just check the powder colors online extensively.All in all, my strong recommendation goes to Elijah. We’ll likely have more pieces coated. And, he’s combining his carpentry shop, so you should check out his furniture work, too. We’re more than satisfied with the job.

I highly would recommend taking your items to Austin Powder Coating. I looked around at multiple shops and decided to take my lawn furniture to Austin Powder Coating, and i have absolutely no complaints what so ever. It looks great. And i got it back in a reasonable time too! The customer service was pleasing as well as the prices. All in all, Austin Powder Coating is a reliable shop to get anything powdered just the way you like it!!

I make furniture and found Mike and Team really easy to work with. They are some busy guys so dont expect five-star service but they will do you right for a great price! I was pleased that when my piece came off the line there was a spot one of the guys missed. Mike said give us 20 minutes and we will get that patched up. They did, in a timely manner and Im a happy customer. Really high-quality paint that Im hoping will last my customers for years to come!

I shipped our two YETI cups to be powder coated. Austin Powder Coating did a fantastic job turning our matching standard YETIs into a beautiful deep blue for my husband and bright cherry red for me. The feel of the cup is unchanged but the pop of color is great. The package was promptly delivered back to my home in a different state. I absolutely loved working with this company and would do so again!

As with many services in Austin today, it took a little longer than expected, everyone is busy. However, I had them powder coat 4 large bus wheels, they came out gorgeous. Thanks guys, I couldnt be happier

My Jeep bumper turned out great and the price was worth the hour drive to the shop. Over the phone quote was easy to get and my project was complete ahead of schedule.

Dont go anywhere near this place. The owner is someone that will try to steal from you by doubling the price after paper work is signed. When you catch him on it he will say youre trespassing, and he is keeping your stuff. When you point out that he is still just trying to steal he will loose his mind and will try to choke you to death. Then he will have his employees all cover for him and lie to the police, of course blaming it all on you. Dont go around these people they are liars, thieves, and will try to kill you if they think they can get away with it.

Totally revived a beaten up, rusty, 1995 bike frame, forks, and handlebars. Looks brand new, and the quality is excellent. Turnaround time was less than a week, and the price couldnt be beat!I would recommend APC to anyone looking to spruce up their old metal parts/ items.

The service was great. Went to other shops in town for pricing and to see what kind of work the shop puts out. At Bad boyz & Austing powder coating mike & dennis walk me around the shop and showed me the parts that they have just pulled out of the oven and the parts look like they where brand new parts. After i have seen the work they do, they now have my account. I must say i went to three shops in the metro area, one in Pflugerville, Manor, Howard ln. Not one did i see the quality powder coated finishes like mike & dennis can put out. Thanks Mike & Dennis for the quality work.

Liars, with a terrible attitude. This place also smells like stale beer, which explains it. People who drink at work are unpredictable, and dangerous.
