I’ve never had such bad internet service like Grande. The only reason I have it because it’s the only internet service my apartment complex is in network with. First of all, I pay more then what I use to pay with Spectrum, and I never have internet service!! I currently work from home, and I literally take 30mins breaks in between waiting for the internet service to come back. Even watching Netflix gets frustrating. Can’t watch a full movie without my screen notifying me that the internet service is disconnected. If you’re not mandated to get this internet service per your apartment complex like myself, I don’t recommend it at all.

I just moved to this area and had no choice of what cable company I could use. This cable service has been the worst I have ever had in my life! You cant get through to people on technical support, you have to wait 40 minutes just to get through. The live chat feature says theyre busy come back later. I am not getting some channels .. I have constant freezing up and pixelating. They expect payment the very date its due, and if you dont they tack on a $15 late charge... theres no grace period. This service is absolutely awful... do not use it if you dont have to!!!

Scrolling thru the channels most of them say to be announced only a few hours before I was able to see what programs were coming on, so when I go to tivo central the what to watch section is blank. I pay over 300.00 a month for cable internet and fax which is ridiculous with all these taxes and fees they come up with, they need to do better.

I thought local network is best but disconnect all the time. I cannot Stream or remote working into any server. it disconnecting from internet every 30 minutes. I am using CAT7 Ethernet cable, which means enough to transfer 600 MB internet. I called them yesterday and they told me I HAVE TO PAY more money for STREAMING lol. i am paying 66$ now. if i want to have 1GB i have to pay 86$ internet + 12.5 (router) something like that. If you have a chance to use Spectrum or ATT that must be better. Even T-Mobile launched 5G wireless modem.UPDATE: still having connection lost. useless internet. when my connection lost or delay it happens. but it happens everyday everytime. how am i suppose to play or work?.UPDATE: lost connection during my streaming. I rebooted modem but no luck. I checked connection to their server and received packages. That means grande lost their internet more than 20 minutes in few minutes ago. 4th of October. I have no idea how they provide this bad internet connection !!!!

The worst cable company ever. Constantly had loading video and down load error or no cable at all.Every time I called they want to send a tech out and charge me for it. For $175.00 a month and not being able to watch tv is completely rediculous. After 5 months of this I had it disconnected. They even ran the cable from my living room to my bedroom through the door way and I couldn’t shut my door because of the coax cable was in the way. If there was a rain storm it would go out too. You don’t even deserve one star but you have to give one star to post.

When I moved to a senior complex 3 years ago, the only option was (and still is) Grande. Within a month I called to speak to someone about issues with recording shows and was told that the cable part of their services was not their strongest offering and they could not do anything about it. Shows that are set to record via DVR would only do so about half the time at best. And I have tried every possible setting. Now set to Record at any time but still only records sometimes. So I have had to pay to get CBS All Access (now Paramount +) as it was costing me far more to pay to watch missed shows. I had to find other ways to find missed shows on other networks. Plus, the Grande monthly service cost kept rising and not just annually. For basic cable and internet (and not near the fastest option), I am now paying over $190/month (plus the Paramount subscription). If I was a new customer I could get what I have for around $60-70. I called a while back and there is no Retention Dept for existing customers. I gave two stars only because the internet seems fine. I am probably going to just go with watching what I can via online sources.

I was on autopay and my payment was unsuccessful because I forgot to transfer funds to my checkings. I fixed it the following day and was hit with 55$ in fees. I wish there was a grace period. Could you please add one?

They said there was an outage in the area, then they said the boxes may need to be replaced. The issue is not the area (my neighbors have cable - not Grande) or the boxes. The issue is Grande. I would have written a review sooner if my internet wasnt so spotty. Thank you Grande for the spotty internet service and the unstable cable. The cable has been out for the past 3 days. This is not acceptable. But they surely want to be paid on time.

THEE Abosulte WORST!!!!! 1 star is far too generous. You have to pay a membership for joining (even though this is the ONLY provider in the area.. go figure), a separate non-refundable fee, and a deposit--although you can waive this with auto draft; but with them adding extra charges out of nowhere, do you really want to? The websites Chat feature is a waste of time as itll only redirect you to FAQs. Customer service, although friendly, cant do anything but read your statements to you and apologize for not being able to do anything. and through it all....... you get sub-par internet service that needs a boost even in a small space (

Had Grande for the past year on the 5 dollar credit a month promo. I was paying 70 for a gig after fees and taxes which was good, but now that the promo is up, my bill has gone up to 85. I was expecting a 5 dollar increase at the very most, but 15? Pretty ridiculous. Internet has been great for the most part which is why I’ll give them an extra star, but this is just sad. And what’s worse is that they’re promoting the same deal I got last year for new customers. Grande needs to work on retention, not just bringing in new customers hoping that they succumb to these hikes once the intro promo is upEdit: So just a heads up, apparently 85 is the “best deal” for existing customers because “renting their router/modem is not free anymore.” It just so happens it’s not free when the promo is up? What a nice way to advertise a cheaper rate for new customers. In other words, you’re not paying 70/mo with a 5 dollar credit when you join, you’re paying 80/mo with a 15 dollar credit assuming you dont have your own router/modem combo which most of us don’t. Ridiculous.

My internet was installed on Saturday and by Tuesday I had experienced three separate technicians, oh boy. The first had to leave due to a medical emergency, so I was then very relieved that the next technician Jacob was able to come by the same day to finish the install. Climbing a pole, taking the time to show me how to connect; he was very kind. But woke up to no internet on Tuesday and the next technician Michael was equally as kind and helpful. I am hopeful after this bumpy start to get back to being eager to support a Texas business by having Grande as my internet provider.

Eh. I think everyone knows they are not the best. They throttle service, there’s always an outage and yes every year you need to call to get a better deal. They send a tech out, and for the most part those guys are cool. The company is terrible. They know they throttle service and price hike. I bet someone will reach out to me and ask me to email them directly to look over my account and help me. Eh there’s no point. I live in an apartment and internet options are already picked out. So what can we do? Not much. Just complain. If your going to have a service outage then you need to tell me why. What happened ? And how are you fixing it? Don’t just say it’ll be fixed soon. That’s not good enough. You auto draft my account religiously ...you better come back with answers. If you appreciate loyal customers this is the very least you can do. As customers we have the right to know why we are not getting services we paid for. Or better yet cut me a check for the service I didn’t receive. Maybe with some money lost you would at the very least tell me what’s going on.

Please please please do NOT get. i wanted to get spectrum or AT&T but my apartment + area only has this provider so i went with them. setting up my service was great and they were really friendly but there is an outage EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND. and to make it worse, they never give you an ETA for when it will be back up. usually lasts a few hours. normally in the afternoons saturday and sunday but i’m writing this review and it’s MONDAY. please try your best to get something else or even live somewhere with a different provider. i can’t stand them and they are not helpful.

You wont get the rates you pay for, Im sorry if youre stuck with them like we were. Being free of this company is the best thing about our move out of state. If you can avoid using their service, do it. Youll never get help with anything other than setting up an account and making a payment. Its a total scam and a waste of your time!

These guys are absolute scam artists. While the customer service is generally friendly and responsive, they don’t really have any ability to make things right. I signed up through a rep at my apartment complex when I moved in over 2 years ago and was given very little information about what I was signing up for. After one year, my bill for basic internet went from $55 to $70. When I inquired it was because “the promotional period ended”. I wasn’t aware it was a promo rate, but fine. One year later, my bill went to $85 for the same service... again, because “the promo rate expired”. Will it just keep going up every year?? How do you expect to maintain customer loyalty with that sort of bait and switch?For the love of god if you have alternatives go elsewhere or make sure to cancel after one year.

Internet goes down a month after moving in. Assume it might have been because I hadnt paid the first bill. Good luck getting into the system to see your first bill, had to call and get them to send it in email. Then after paying it was told my line must have been cut and that the earliest someone could come troubleshoot is two days. No wonder the reviews are so bad. Build a system that doesnt break where you have to dispatch someone that takes two days to get onsite. If I had any other options for internet I would use them.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences with Grande Communications. The customer service reps on the phone and the gentleman with the Russian accent who came to connect my service were nice and professional. My service is fast with no interruptions (and I have one of the basic plans), and my monthly bill is pretty cheap.

Oh Grande, how I wish I didnt have to work with you.Rates are consistently below advertised outside of completely non-peak hours. Unfortunately if you read any internet bill contract these speeds are not guaranteed. Generally functional, but I do have to deal with a spotty connection a couple of times a week. Not the end of the world, but it does seem to be a dice roll.Clearly I am one of the lucky ones, because my neighbors in the complex have had much more frequent outage issues, and have complained repeatedly to management. Not sure how much longer they are in a contract, but hopefully those complaints dont fall on deaf ears, and the decline to renew the contract.Biggest issue - when you sign up, do NOT trust the agent on the terms of your contract. I explicitly asked if there was an equipment rental fee, as I owned a modem/router combo for a previous apartment that charged an equipment rental fee. I was emphatically told No there is no equipment fee.Well, its been 12 months and my bill suddenly hiked $9 a month for below average internet because there IS an equipment rental fee, it was just waived for the first year. Apparently Im lucky because Im paying $9 a month now instead of the full $12 fee?Unfortunately I sold that modem to a friend because I didnt need it anymore, so now I have to buy a modem, disconnect it and bring it into a store to receive a pro-rated refund of the rental fee. (dont even think about having someone else come collect the router, because they will charge you $80 for the 5 minutes it takes to unplug the modem and unscrew the co-ax cable). Thats what Ill be doing though.Oh, and no, I dont want to add $5 to my bill to insure the wiring in my apartment building (real question that agents are clearly forced to ask at the end of an inquiry).Tl:Dr - Make sure you bring your own modem/router to save $108-$144 a year if you have to use their services. If you dont have to use their services - dont.

This is by far the worst ISP I have ever had the displeasure of having to use. The only reason I didn’t drop this company immediately is because it is the ONLY ISP my apartment allows. I have constant interruptions and shut downs and I have to restart my router daily. It is to the point where I have filed complaints to my apartment building to allow more options for internet. From what i can tell after reading these reviews and talking to people in my building, it isn’t just me. It’s 2021 people... You have fiber cables plugged directly into my computer. Why are they not working? Everyone else has figured it out, so why haven’t you?

Grande Communications is a third-rate, poorly managed internet service company. They are very unresponsive and severely understaffed. On their premium internet plan, we’ve experienced service outages for as much as 3 days and received varying explanations from customer reps as to why such outages occurred. There is a disgraceful lack of transparency. The tolerance for such incompetence from internet providers is low in an increasingly online world. Grande has one job and no way to compensate customers for losses in productivity.

Alright well when people make things right it must be called to attention. I called grande to express my frustrations about the service they were providing and they immediately went to action. It is the next day from the phone call and they have a technician out here replacing our cable line. (On a Saturday) I’m very pleased with the immediate action they took to get this problem resolved. I’m just hoping that this will fix the issues and that the internet works as well as their customer service is.Original review: This service is complete trash...I’ve had it for two days and it has yet to work for a full 24hr. Spotty service and at night it goes out completely. Just got this service and it already doesn’t even work. Reset router checked cables and nothing. I wish I had any other option. It’s amazing these guys are still in business....

Alright, I was going to wait for my lease to end before I wrote my review for this company. But after what is probably the 1000th time my internet has dropped on me in the middle of doing something important it cant wait. All I have to say is that if youre moving somewhere and youre only option of an internet provider is Grande Communications. DO NOT MOVE THERE. This company does not provide good internet. Your internet will be throttled. You will NOT get what you pay for. Currently live in Fairway Landings at Plum Creek and I can guarantee the reason I wont move here or even recommend anyone to live here is because the only ISP available is this absolute dumpster fire of an internet provider. Please do yourself a favor and move somewhere that even provides Spectrum. YES I WILL RECOMMEND SPECTRUM OVER THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. I can check all the boxes here: Poor quality, Poor value, Not professional, Not responsive.If you get a CC stolen and need to update your payment, make sure to double check your bills carefully.I was somehow auto-paying a month late for a few months, and was getting charged $75 a month extra! The customer service at the call center is abysmal. I literally had to call them all weekend, wait for hours on the phone and repeat myself incessantly. The phone agent constantly told me someone would try to come out, while at other times they confirmed an appointment and never showed up. The automated phone call that they promised to send never actually rings, it just shows as a missed call. If you miss the call then you miss the appointment. I believe its a trick to cancel an appointment that was never doable in the first place. If you dont have availability in the schedule or you dont have enough technicians to come out then DO NOT confirm appointments and have customers waking up early, staying home practically all day and waisting precious time waiting on someone.Its not worth the hassle. Choose another service...

Wait times to speak to a service representative are 20 minutes, more if you phone call is dropped by Grande answering system. Finally after several attempts to speak to a service representative and made an appointment for 8 to 10 am May 18th. No service representative came on the 18th. Phoned service to ask why no one came the representative said appointment had been canceled but I had not canceled the appointment.

We are new costumers with Grande Communications, we only pay for internet and in less than 2 weeks we have experienced several hours without connection. When we call the customer support phone line all they say is that they don’t know when the service will be back, they don’t know the reason why is not working, they don’t know absolutely anything. The person on the phone was not helpful at all and said all we can do is wait for it to be fixed. Seriously??? Thankfully we don’t have a contract with them. I’m calling to cancel the service!If you are looking to get an internet/cable provider please look at the reviews, they are real and accurate. Dont go with Grande Communications!

I am not a Grande Communications customer - and its unlikely I ever will be. One of their customers fraudulently charged almost $900 to an elderly relatives bank account and then they dont want to help me investigate. Its as though they encourage fraud. If they cannot help resolve a financial fraud issue, they are probably not going to help resolve a less serious issue, so they are not the company for me.UPDATE: Grande Communications read my review and reached out to me for details. The issue has been resolved to my satisfaction and I am impressed with their financial and PR departments. I am raising my rating from 1 to 4 stars.

I had this internet provider for 3 years in Austin. Account #8201-0370210-03. I had to choose this because our apartment community did not allow any other providers.Customer support: The customer representatives at Grande are very unprofessional and not responsive.Speed: The speed is below par than most of the other vendors in the market. They promise you 300 MPS but it will be very low.Pricing: Prices are almost same (or high) compared to most of the vendors. But the value is very low for the price you pay.Billing: They cheat you here in billing. If you enroll in auto-pay, they will automatically increase your bill. If you do not call them up, they will keep charging you high. Many people in our community had this experience. They claim they mention the increase somewhere in the last page of bill in a very small statement.IN SHORT - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE IN AUSTIN AREA.

If I could give them negative stars or even 0 stars I would. Unfortunately my apartment complex has a contract with them and they are the only provider. One of the reasons I am moving out of the apartment is because of Grande! We pay $80/month for slow and often disconnecting internet service. It is insane how the great US of A has such bad internet service providers. Grew up on the military base in Korea with better internet 20 years ago.

As a network engineer myself. I can tell you that no matter what internet package you get it is not going to be what you pay for. Some network delays and packet loss is to be expected when using a coax connection. But a 600mbps service providing 13mbps-15mbps on a direct hardwired line is unheard of. Clear indication that there is not even the effort of providing what you pay for.The automated call line is all voice recognition, and will not let you speak to a representative, so youre forced to repeat yourself until either you hang up or commit suicide on the phone.Clearly just a group of scam artists. Worst service I have ever had.

I have had internet from Grande for about 2 and a half months. It has already gone out on me 3 times for hours. I work from home on occasion and it has affected my job and income. I wanted to add a tv package and I got three wildly different price quotes the three times I called in. At&t is the other option for my apartment complex. I will be going there because I can not rely on this internet.

Reliable. Fast. No data caps. Ive been a Grande customer for over 15 years in central Austin. Ive hardly had a hiccup in my service. I work from home and can depend on my connection day and night. Whenever Ive called customer service, hold times were minimal and staff was very helpful. Onsite staff has also been skilled, quick, and respectful. I dont understand the negative reviews at all.

I went looking for help about my commercial service unaware this location only serves residential and was met right away with attitude and eye rolls. Just because you have a mask on covering your mouth does not mean I cant see your eyes or hear the tone of your voice. Every month the just increasing your money fee and the never give you a good service. Customer service is very responsive, but largely unhelpful. My internet goes out at least every other day if not more. The customer service person schedules a tech to come out, then they cancel the appointment saying it is “fixed”, then two days later it’s out again. It is never the speed I’m paying for, so everything in another room is laggy. Just use another service and you’ll save yourself a ton of time and trouble. I had Google fiber for two years and it didn’t cut out even once.

I have called & called again to resolve the mistake GRANDE made - even dropped off one of the bogus bills with full explanation of their FRAUDULENT mistake to this Anderson Ln location - nothing!! I had Grande for 1 year (October of 2019-Oct 2020). My coverage was spotty throughout the year because of something physical on the side of my house a tech would have to come out and fiddle with every few months. They had to come out at least 5 times in the course of this year. My service was so spotty that I would lose it for more than 24 hours every 2 months or so. Come time to move away, I ended up having to cancel my service more than 3 times, because every time I tried to schedule it for shut off in the future (at the end of the month) they would cancel it. There was no misconception between the customer service reps and myself (they were all very nice), but something kept causing my service to cut off at midnight the night I put IN the request for future service cancellation. Extremely annoying. On top of all that, the day before I moved I went to a location to drop off my equipment and not only were employees not wearing masks, but they were decorating for Halloween and watching TV because their computers were down. This meant that I had to drop off a box of equipment and the lady had to hand-write me a receipt saying that she received it. It was one of those carbon paper old school receipts. She wrote down my name and my address, but it didnt even have a reference number on it or my account number. Thankfully, I havent received any emails saying they didnt get it so I am assuming it got there, but the whole ride was one big ordeal.TL/DR: Fast speeds, but only intermittently with lots of bugs along the way.

I was forced into using Grande by my apartment complex. I’ve only been here for a month and a half and I already hate Grande. The internet is always spotty and consistently shutting off. Trying to work from home is a nightmare, and it’s definitely not my router. I have top of the line equipment that I bought for hundreds of dollars that has always been excellent while using Spectrum. When there was a power outage one night, it took Grande almost a full day to get our internet back on. The power was back on in about an hour. DO NOT USE GRANDE! You will have the worst experience of your life.

I was forced into using Grande because thats what my apartment complex allows. The speed is slower than promised and drops to nothing when I have to stream video, which shouldnt happen. Customer service takes a long time to get through to, and I have gotten surprise charges on my bill twice in the three months Ive had Grande, which is very shady.

Price was great at the beginning but this year my bill went up significantly. At the time of installation the tech had to connect a new cable outside, and said hed put a ticket in for it to be buried. Its been over a year and it still sits above ground. Also, I appear to have been billed for a new modem when my bill went up. I have the same one as when I signed up- it still works great, its just not new.They do offer no contract service so I could cancel anytime, but my other options are worse. My speeds are great and weve had fast response to outages, etc. Grande is decent for home services, just read the fine print and know what youre getting after that sweet introductory price disappears

Terrible, all around. I realize when you pay for up to 600 MBPS, you may only get a fraction of that wirelessly. However, I would not expect to get between 1-5 MBPS download speeds when I am right next to the router.Service has come several times, not fixed them problem. People have been rude in the past on the phone, and it has been impossible to work from home with this K-Mart internet.Dont get it, honestly, not worth it in any circumstance. During my services, internet was not that great and would have connection issues. We had to get our own modem because the one they issued was complete garbage and we returned it. 2 years later, we move and got ATT fiber. Grande notifies us that the modem hasnt been returned and charged us over $100. I did my best to dispute this, but they never called me back or let me know what was going on with the cases I kept having them open up. In the end, I had a manager more or less tell me that they didnt care and was forced to pay it. Worst customer service. If you do go for this company, be sure to keep receipts that you have returned equipment. Otherwise, dont do business with them.

Fastest internet foe the price. Have had them for almost 3 months and so far no issues. Fingers crossed. Had spectrum before and they were horrible/unreliable and could only provide half the speed. I went with the modem and router option from Grande and the 990mbps speed.

If you have an option to go with another internet company please do. Out of all the internet providers I’ve had over the years Grande is the absolute worst! Customer service is fine but the actual internet service fails constantly and it’s never reliable. My building only offers grande and all of my neighbors have the same issue. I’ve lived in this building 2 years and grande has done nothing to repair or fix whatever the problem is. I never complain but with grande I have to so to inform people. Pls pls pls don’t get grande and save yourself a huge headache.

Customer Service is HorrifyingI’ve had Grande internet for about 3 months now. My WiFi stopped working this evening, so after trying to trouble-shoot it myself, I called for help.The tech support woman yawned in boredom on the phone while talking to me, then promised to place me on a 3-5 minute hold while she looked into my account.28 minutes later, another gentleman got on the phone with zero knowledge of my case. He asked me to start over with verifying my identify and explaining the issue. I expressed my frustration about the customer experience and asked him how long it would take to work on this from that point on because I had to run some errands.His response? HE HUNG UP ON ME! After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the tech support person hung up on me! Wow!!!

I have to deal with this very unprofessional ISP as my apartment does not allow any other service provider. I do not recommend it to anyone!!!Customer support: The customer representatives at Grande are very unprofessional and not responsive.Speed: The speed is below par than most of the other vendors in the market. They promise you 300 MPS but it will be very rlow.Pricing: Prices are almost same (or high) compared to most of the vendors. But the value is very low for the price you pay.Billing: They cheat you here in billing. If you enroll in auto-pay, they will automatically increase your bill. If you do not call them up, they will keep charging you high. Many people in our community had this experience. They claim they mention the increase somewhere in the last page of bill in a very small statement.

Please Please know this Fast Speed Internet will not keep an internet connection. I had the services for 2 wks. Everyday i call cause during my regular working hours the internet looses connection. In the 2 wks i had services i was in an internet outage for 3 entire days per Grande Technical Support Line From 11/25/20-11/27/20. Then they offered to send a Tech Support to my house to take a look at my problem and they wanted to charge me $55 for the visit.. Review is the only way we can alert each other about these companies bad services. Hope this helps you.

Company promised up to 950 mbps once service was completed. After service was completed I was only getting .85 mbps and thats with fiber. So after all that same day called and canceled and asked to have the fiber cable the technician did not even bury to be removed. Technician came out to bury the cable didnt remove and then broke into my spectrum box and cut all my cords. Now Im in a battle with Grande as they are telling me Im still a customer even after canceling so now Im getting bills. Stay far away from this horrible company.

When it goes down, youre just told to reset the modem over and over again... if we had known grande internet was our only option at our apartment complex, we may have moved elsewhere ...

The only things you can count on from them are 1) frequent “outages” in which no one seems to know anything about how long the issue will be resolved— ever 2) multiple price increases for the reliably unreliable internet service aforementioned. Absolutely ridiculous. My girlfriend and I are both students and work from home – due to the on going pandemic. We have experienced several outages during the last year. When I called to ask about the status I couldn’t get through, and when I Tweeted them, they simply shrugged me off. Can’t wait to make the switch.

Inconsistent speeds, overpriced, poor customer service. Just avoid if you can. Id rather deal with Spectrum (luckily, I dont have to).I chose Grande to get a better customer experience than I previously have had with AT&T... but the experience is the same or worst. I may as well take advantage of the better speeds (actual, not paid for) and perks of AT&T over this joke of a company.

Service is slow when it works. The modem has been replaced several times but I still get disconnected frequently. When I first became a customer, my apt was brand new and Grande refused to run cable/internet wires in my unit so I had to do it myself. The last time I called customer service I was on hold for 45 mins before someone answered, then I was transferred twice and waited even longer. Thankfully, I’m moving so I am able to cancel them.

The absolute worst. When trying to troubleshoot with them, they tried blaming having issues with a phone connection despite sitting still then hung up on me. I had a technician out once for an Ethernet connection set up (by the way, they apparently dont do that if you get your service set up the first time because they werent told about it) and the technician told me hed be right back. He ended up leaving without saying a word! Now I have to work around my schedule to try to see if they can do anything. Hopefully someone shows up this time!*EDIT: 2.18.20*Received a call while at work stating there was an outage and service was restored. I requested that they keep the ticket open and still send out a technician; they said they would. (I cant leave in the middle of the day for an hour at work to confirm!) I called them to check in on the status of the technicians arrival and they told me none are coming out. I asked if I was lied to as to whether or not my ticket was closed when I explicitly told them not to and to send a technician out and they skirted the question with excuses! Now I am waiting to see if they are able to send someone tonight (fat chance) otherwise need to reschedule AGAIN.Edit to follow up on this again (2.18); nope! Rescheduled for tomorrow! Now taking bets to see if anyone will show or what possible excuse theyll make up this time.If I could give them a 0/5, I honestly would.Following up on this review since February:I eventually had a technician come out on 2.19 and he was able to identify the problem quickly; a bad cable line on both interior and exterior of the building. Honestly, Im surprised this wasnt addressed during the install, but it is what it is now. They were very professional and had stayed to ensure all of the services were up and running again. Since then, Ive only had a hiccup in service once.Overall, their customer care is horrible, their technicians are hit-or-miss, but they have a better product than Spectrum or AT&T.

This has got to be the absolute worst internet service on the planet. Be prepared to constantly deal with you wifi going out on you for hours at a time. And if you try to call the actual location they’ll just be rude. If I wasn’t forced to use this service by my apartment complex I’d throw the router in the trash and go with someone else. Called to have my account put on seasonal hold due to a flood in my building and no longer living in the condo back in April. Got put on hold. Then disconnected. Two months later, I figure out it was never done. Asked current employee if there were notes from the previous conversation. Her fix wasn’t really satisfactory. But that’s ok. I need to set up service for a new address and I won’t be using Grande. For a “communications” company, their communications are archaic. Bye!

This company is terrible. I have a one-year-old son that I would trust to do accounting with a box of crayons more than I trust Grande to keep anything straight. They somehow managed to create an account for me at an address that I didnt even live at. Then they failed to keep my contact information in one place and, rather than finding the other account that had all of my information in it, they sent everything to collections. Nice, thanks for nothing. Glad to be rid of them.

I had an appointment today September 26th from 1 pm to 3 pm. However, the technician called in at 3 pm and told me that he was running late for 30 mins. He showed up at 5 pm. I had something to do but my wifi did not work so I had to wait for him for another 2 hours. I had couple bad experiences with this company and am planning to switch to another provider.

UPDATE:Responses from vendors are rarely genuine. They spend their time managing bad publicity vs resolving customer satisfaction issues and then wonder why customers focus on price. AVOID Grande like the plague as the service interruptions are tremendous. If you only use the internet to log on/off for 15m a day, then this might be your vendor.While I am a customer I am actively looking for another provider in a market that is below average when compared to other products and services. Here are some factors for my one start rating:1) You will be told about the upside (low rates, fast and reliable) but watch out for the DOWNSIDE SURPRISE (rates are introductory and INCREASE after your first year - called second year pricing, service interruptions are frequent and trying to have multiple windows open at once can be a chore)2) Customer service can feel like a slap in the face - no one would speak to you like this in person.3) Hold times for any type of support is LONNNGGGGGGG............

Unfortunately they are the only WiFi servicing my area, so I’m forced to use them. All I can say is that this is the worst internet provider I’ve ever had. I am supposed to have 600 meg internet service, but I have to CONSTANTLY unplug the router and plug it back in. The service fails EVERY day at some point or another. Also after MANY speed tests done I’m not even getting speeds close to 100meg. It’s more like 40-50. Do NOT go with Grande if you have the opportunity to have a CHOICE!

For the love of god, pay the extra money and get Google Fiber!I signed up for Grande a week ago and scheduled an installation. This was supposed to be a 8am-10am install on Saturday. The first tech recognized that we needed to install fiber, but decided not to tell us, saying that the next guy that came out would finish everything. He leaves and the next guys show up around 1:30 to look at our wires, they say they need to get a part and leave around 2:30, and never come back. Nobody tells me anything, no call, nothing. So I call in a talk to the most lethargic customer service team ever to ask about what is going on. They have no idea whats going on (supposedly) and tell me to wait for a call from dispatch. At this point it is 7pm on Saturday. I get a call and they tell me that because of where our house is placed it needs fiber to be installed. I ask when theyre going to do it, and they told me theyd get back to me. They didnt. Its Monday afternoon and Ive heard nothing from them. I plan on canceling all service and getting something with a hint of professionalism because Grande is not it at all. They cant even give me a rough estimate as to when itll get done. Dont be fooled be the cheap prices. Not worth it. Trash product, trash service.

Worst company ever, moved to house where they didn’t provide service and got stuck with a huge bill where I tried to make a payment arrangement and the girl told me they didn’t do that all I had was 30 days to pay tried to speak to a manager and she said they didn’t have any to speak to at the moment. Very unprofessional and obvious she needed more training, what company doesn’t have a payment arrangement 🙄
