This is the BEST place to ship anything. Its 20ish min away from me and I will definitely be going here anytime I need to ship something - its that great. The place feels relaxed and incredibly local, such a nice break from places now a days, they really care about the customer. I had FANTASTIC customer service the entire time - I had a few different things to ship out and they helped with each item quickly and even helped me to print out another thing I needed unrelated to my shipping stuff.It was no joke the best shipping experience Ive had I cant recommend this place enough.

I live quite a ways from a US Post Office. Even though I have to cross Mopac to get to Austin Mail Express, it is very conveniently located at Mopac and Slaughter. I started going there to drop off packages that I had already put postage on. These items would not fit in the outgoing mail slots of my mailbox. I think it is an excellent service to allow people to drop off packages that USPS will pick up there. Occasionally, I will need to send a package that requires special packaging or something unusual. Greg Weithoner always has a smile on his face and is always helpful. He proves excellent service and always offers several options (and prices) for sending my stuff. He has my info on file, so printing postage and address labels is quick and easy. If you need to mail or ship something, I highly recommend Austin Mail Express.

This place is amazing! Best shipping experience ever! I literally was struggling walking in with a large box and a gentlemen came right towards me, takes my ups package and wishes me a good day! That was it!!

Greg and his team are amazing. In the world of constant home delivery and the need to return items from time to time I have no idea what we would do without him. Once you establish an account with him, you never really need to think twice about the best way to send something. (Im even more thoughtful about sending stuff to my girls in college because Greg makes it so easy)

Its Christmas time and it was only a little crowded as they got people in/out SUPER FAST. There was never a long line or anything. I cant believe their speed !!... and had 15 things going on and Greg and his co-worker (Very pretty Hispanic lady) was kind / patient and very polite nice!!! I really think Greg and crew are really Angels sent to help us all ! GOD BLESS Greg, his family and his staff! Just as Joanne had mentioned below in a different review, we need to bring him and his staff some breakfast tacos or lunch or SOMETHING for helping us out of a jam time and time again ! LOVE these people !! ....and he exudes LOVE to his customers even more !

We ship large, high-end custom furniture across the country. Greg sees that it arrives intact, even when a 1000lb table is dropped off the back of a truck. (Yes, this happened. Yes, the table made it through just fine.) Plus hes just a decent guy.

AVOID THIS SHOP & THE OWNER!Had the worst customer service experience of my life here. The owner, Greg, was dissheveled, clearly under the influence of a substance, and aggressive with myself and other customers.He refused to answer questions, treated me like a nuisance for being in his store, and was very condescending and snappy with myself and the other woman in his shop.He was completely unprofessional, and could not perform basic functions of his job. Not only that, but he was rude, and when I finally said “excuse me?” to him regarding his demeanor/ treatment of me, he became enraged.I’m shocked by all the positive reviews on here- this guy was an absolute nightmare! I ended up telling him I was taking my business elsewhere and he tried to corner me, follow me out of his shop, and screamed at me.There is a perfectly nice place called Postmark’d off Slaughter & Escarpment. I followed the advice of other reviews & went over there instead. Had great service & will never be returning to Austin Mail Express!

This is the place to go if your in need of a true mailing and package center that goes above and beyond with quality and good old fashion customer service! I use this company for my buinesses mail services, custom boxes, crates and even personal mail as well. I would highly recommend this buiness to any one. The owner, Greg is awalys nice and respectful and even our children enjoy going to visit. You can’t say that about many places. Parking is adequate as long a you don’t drive a school bus. This store even has a really high quality copy/printer which has complety stopped my office store visits.

Greg always treats me like a super start when I walk in. Last time I was in, I was in a hurry and he was finishing up packinging up the last customers order.
