I had a very bad experience with Independence. The lady I worked with Irene was very unresponsive and everytime, I called I very rarely spoke with her. She was deceptive to me due to how she communicated. She ask me if I mind if a mobile notary goes in person to meet with the seller of the property I said okay and all the time the mobile notary was her. She also came off as very skeptical of us even though everything we said checked out. I only believe she was skeptical because we were people of color conducting this transaction. To our face she would smile but we could tell she was trying to look into more things behind our backs that was obvious. She would not accept any notary docs we brought her she had to be the notary on all paperwork. I feel as though she overstepped her boundaries as if she was loaning the money and that is not the case in my opinion. It was obvious to all involved what this was about skin color. When the deal finally funded she failed to tell the seller that they would receive a cashiers check instead of a wire transfer so the seller was expecting funds and she claimed they were called but there is no record of a call per the sellers statement. I as a buyer had to call several times to even find that information out for the seller. I would never ever do business with this Title Company again and if you decide to do business with them dont say I didnt warn you.

This team of people are great!! They just helped me close and fund three properties. The experience was smooth and orderly. They informed me along the way about most things they were doing. Seriously the BEST title company around!! Aimee Randall & Sarah Donohoe always get my closings done on time, with no issues. They are very communicative, friendly, and I would HIGHLY recommend! Ive used other title companies and they dont even begin to compare to their level of service.

I am buying a house on Friday. Myself and my agent have had issues getting consistent communication from Danielle Phillips. Promises have been made and not kept. I personally have had my phone call message not be returned, as well as my email ignored. When I called again, Danielle was condescending and short, and even hung up on me. Simply put: Im unsure how you can still be in business with such poor communication. I will never use Independence Title again.

Amazing job by Terri, she would help you even if they dont get the benifit. she made sure all my questions were answered and because we are out of town she still looked for the right person that can help us!.Amazing service all around!!

We have closed with many title companies and Aimee Randle and Danielle Phillips at this Independence Title location are the best we have ever had the pleasure to work with.While most title companies dont seem to have their act together, Aimee and Danielle do. They are proactive, accurate and professional.

Horrible experience with this title company. My escrow agent was Dina Scott and she appeared to be bothered every time I asked her to explain something that I did not understand. She was not friendly and/or approachable. I will definitely not work with this title company again.

Horrible experience with this company so far and we haven’t even closed yet. This group seems very unorganized and their communication is seriously lacking.I feel that I’m being generous with 1 Star.
