Very clear explanation of each document at closing time. Very friendly staff. However, the 3-star is because the people here messed up with the closing amount calculation. I received a call from the title office that they messed up with the calculation and that I need to pay another 4150$. This happened after closing is complete, funding is done, took a nice photo with the big key at the title office and got the house keys from the builder as well. This is not ideal and the level of quality I expected from a title office. Hope they can avoid such errors in the future.

Yes, I have dealt with other title companies, but Michelle and her team (Ashley Foradory & Jill M. Barker) take the initiative to constantly communicate to all parties involved and go above and beyond! They also havent missed a beat during this pandemic, sending notaries all over Texas to make sure my clients comfortably close on time with all necessary precautions. I am in Houston and the land I sold was in Austin. Since Capital Title has several offices in Houston, I did not have to drive to Austin to close. I went to the office in Houston Galleria and was greated with cold water and a package of Covid related items. We signed the papers in the lobby and I left after only a few minutes. The money was in my account the next day. I could not be more satisfied.

I am surprised Monica Middleton is the president of this place, she is simple put rude, if for some reason something on the papers you are about to sign are not good she will just give you a hard time and if you ask questions she treats you as an ignorant. I will avoid this office if I ever need a title company.
