She has been such a wonderful and amazing electrologist and friend, throughout all the pain and sudden conflicts, she tirelessly helped me through it all.I highly recommend coming here for whatever your electrolysis needs may be! I started electrolysis sessions in another city but because of a move, wasn’t able to finish. Once in Austin, I did extensive research to make sure I found a Certified Professional Electrologist who knew that they were doing in order to prevent damage and scarring. Cris and her staff are amazing!! Due to the expertise and state of the art equipment at IBC, the progress was way faster than what I have had previously!! Is it an investment?! Sure!!! But for almost the same amount as waxing, you have a permanent solution to unwanted hair!! Highly recommend!!

First off, I would like to say that the staff at International Beauty Center are top notch! They are all super personable and pay extreme attention to detail. I came in with with an extreme hair problem on my chin. It is something Ive lived with for most of my life and finally decided to do something about it. After reading amazing reviews from IBC, I decided to give them a try. This process takes time to complete, so patience is key! I have been going for exactly a year now, treating only my chin, and I am 95% finished with my treatment! I am beyond satisfied with my results and wish I had done this sooner. If anyone out there is struggling with the same type of issue, you are not alone! My advice is to just be patient with the process and see the results for yourself. This was a game changer for my self esteem and I would recommend it to anyone. They are truly the best in Austin! Thank you for everything IBC!

My experience with International Beauty Center has been amazing. This review is for the electrolysis that I have had done here. I worked with two technicians, one who is no longer there (briefly) and with Cristina.Cristina is incredibly patient, kind and understanding of my needs. She is incredibly thorough and makes sure to get every last hair she possibly can. She was great about educating me on what products to use to make my treatment the most effective, and provided aftercare instructions that were detailed (something I did not receive at previous electrolysis offices).The COVID safety procedures were fabulous. Cristina takes the time to thoroughly clean and disinfect after every session, which is incredibly comforting.The communication with this office is top notch, and their online appointment system is fast, and super easy to work with. I found myself booking appointments as far in advance as I could because it was so easy (and also because Cristinas schedule books up super quickly, thats how good she is).Overall, I could not speak more highly of this business and the team.

IBC is great. It is truly the BEST place in Texas. My results are amazing. I thought I would need several “passes” to be totally hair-free. Surprisingly, ONE treatment and about 98 percent of the hair did NOT grow back. Truly the only permanent hair removal treatment for me. By the way, I had about 8 or 9 laser hair removal treatments on that area with a resultant 5 percent reduction in hair growth. I was so frustrated when I got to IBC. If only I had done this when I was 20 years old! Do yourself a huge favor and check them out!

IBC has so many services and all the employees that Ive worked with have been extremely knowledgeable and helpful. International Beauty Center has made my dream of no longer having to pluck or shave a reality!!

I discovered “Int’l Beauty Center” back in Sept., of last year. I started my electrolysis journey for the 1st-time back in 2012 in Austin (a little over 6yrs of treatments ) I didn’t have anything to compare my results that I’ve noticed too (thought @ the time; ok. This is going to be a long process. Will I ever get rid of my hair? Is it even possible? Dealing w/this issue since I was 16yo) fast forward to now being 6 mths since getting treatments @ “Int’l beauty center (wowwww lol) I’ve noticed such dramatic changes in my skin, texture of hair (not as course/thick blk hair/much thinner hair), less ingrown hairs, & MOST OF ALL I’M NOT HAVING TOO SHAVE EVERYDAY, or EVERY OTHER DAY BETWEEN MY TREATMENTS!!!! #incredible #unbelievable all what I’ve just mentioned never happened in my past experience whatsoever. Wish I had discovered “Int’l Beauty Center” much sooner (I would definitely be hairless by now & moving on to do doing other kinds treatments by now) the staff here are all awesome. I have had few technicians work on me since starting my new journey here & they all ROCK. I am an unique case due to how my hairs grow out etc... Keep striving for perfection, & the willingness to go above/beyond for your clients (definitely makes a world of difference) very professional while working on me (not much conversation during treatments unless it’s pertaining to my case #awesome) I’m in/out of appt., & enjoying my instant results. I absolutely love I.B.C and I cannot thank Christine enough for giving me my life back, my husband and child their momma back!! I have spent so much of my life in the mirror plucking it’s so unreal!! I planned for 6 weeks..... drove an hour to get there.... did not do anything to hair (like she instructed me). I planned an hour and a half appointment. Then morning of I get this message (attached screen shot). She knew during consultation I had never done this and was nervous. Then due to corona we cant talk during the appointment? What!? When I got there I messaged her with no reply from her for about a half hour. Finally I left to go use the restroom (because due to corona we were to sit in the car until they let us know) she lets me know she is ready while I am in the restroom 5 miles away. The conversation was very short with me and she never bothered to call before that moment to let me know we could come in now.I never even got to have the experience to rate but I will likely not be going back to this place after the way I was treated. If in fact youre reading and a competition hair removal I am in the market still. Obviously.Very poor experience, and I am sad this is how new customers would be treated by anyone. Wow.

I was looking for a good electrologist for a really long time and I was really disappointed until I found Cristina. She is amazing. After just one clearance I saw dramatic improvement. I can recommend Cristina to everyone. She has a lot of experience and knowledge and she is very passionate about her work.

Before coming here, I had spent thousands of dollars doing electrolysis in the greater Houston region with absolutely no result. I almost lost hope before I found Cris. Cris was very patient with all of my questions and in explaining everything thoroughly to me. I travel three hours to be treated because she is THAT good. Chris is AWESOME! I went in last year and was pretty skeptical. One year later Im on to another area and have seen ridiculously amazing results. No more putting on makeup to cover unwanted hairs or scars from plucking. I feel so much more comfortable in my own skin.Chris takes the time to educate you and has such a sweet spirit. Before I found Cristina, I worked with several other electrologists, and was not satisfied because the procedure was very painful and I wasnt making progress fast enough.I was so relieved after my first appointment with Cristina. Her state of the art equipment combined with professionalism, warm personality, and skill were a breath of fresh air. With her equipment and technique, the procedure was no longer painful, and I have been THRILLED with the progress we have made.I initially went in for facial hair, and have since moved on to underarms and back because I am so happy with the work she has done. It has greatly improved my self image to no longer worry about unwanted hairs.I cannot recommend Cristina and IBC highly enough. Cristina is the best! So glad I found her to help. There is no one better in Austin for electrolysis. She cares so much for her patients. She is quick and gets a lot done with the time. I had an experience with another electrologist and that person only did half as much area with more pain and more redness scarring afterward. Cristina is by far the best there is. We had an eye opening consult where my wife and I learned about how life changing the work that she does is for people...people with esteem issues, abnormal hair growth, transgender clients...she is extremely passionate about what she does. We were well educated about electrolysis and the procedures prior to receiving treatment. We were impressed with how little regrowth after just one treatment. She is a Certified Professional Electrologist who helps train other electrologists in the area and teaches continuing education for current CPEs. We highly recommend her...she is great at what she does!

I was having problems with ingrown hairs on my neck and lower chin. I have been getting weekly treatments from IBC for some time now and only wish I had started this process years ago. It has made a world of difference. I no longer spend time picking at my neck searching for relief. I would recommend their services to everyone that I know. My experience with Internacional Beauty Center has been unbeatable. After several years of trying different centers and different treatments in Spain and in Austin, it was here where I finally found the solution to the hair problem. The laser, instead of helping me, exacerbated my problem. Electrolysis at other centers gave me burn marks and wounds. I am very grateful to Cristina. She is a great professional.
