If I could give this shop 1000 star’s, I would. Smoke is a TOP NOTCH MECHANIC! Towed my truck to Ford dealership and they wanted $14,400!! Houston Diesels Truck club referred me to Smoke since I’m in the Austin area now and this man did a superb job on my truck and costed me a faction from what Ford wanted. This shop isn’t the closest to me but the drive is worth it. Smoke is the only mechanic touching my truck as long as I live in this area.

Great guy, honest and gets it done.

We broke down while traveling through Texas from California in our 94 Ford truck. We had a short window of time to get everything done and he made sure it happened. One of the most honest mechanics Ive ever met and just an all around good dude. I really cannot say enough about Smoke and all the guys he employees. They are quick, fair and go above and beyond.

Smoke is freaking AWESOME! Such a great guy. He gives me advice all the time whenever I need it and by far has the best prices in town. There is a reason why he books up weeks in advance. I could rant about him for hours. I will only be taking my vehicles to smoke from now on!

Smokes is the best.I broke down while traveling and had Dixie diesel repair come out they took my truck tore it apart changed me a total of 1200$ and gave my truck back with engine torn down after they had it for 5 days. Smokes diesel saved the day . I got the truck to Smokes diesel and within 24hours despite it be a very busy shop they had the truck back together and running like a beast. Cost for repair was very fair considering the mess they had to clean up from previous macanic. What a great shop, not just for diesel but for everything. It is impossible to beat experienced shop that is open, honest, and does great work at fair prices. smoke the shop owner answered all my questions over text, so communicating him was pleasantly easy compared to having to call other more corporate like shops. I am also one who normally works on my own vehicles except for certain things, like rebuilding my turbo. Smoke explained to me my options and did great work. He also stayed open late one night to let me pick up my truck after normal hours. I can say with confidence that this place has earned my business as long as I am here in Austin. GREAT SHOP!

I have a ‘92 Dodge Cummins and was having a hard time finding a good diesel mechanic. I was in luck because Smoke is a great diesel mechanic. He’s the only shop I’ll be taking it to from here on out.I had some issues with my brakes and he was thorough with his inspection and repair, and he communicated excellently, keeping me up to date with the process and answering all my questions about what happened. My old truck is in good hands when it’s in Smoke’s shop.

My diesel box truck had a redline error and had acceleration issues. Took it to one place on Burnet and they quoted me $8,000 to fix. Then took it to Smokes for a 2nd opinion. He said just needed to replace fuel filter and a few other items. Ended up only costing me $650. Saved me over $7000! Highly recommend

Without a doubt, best crew I let handle my skoolie. I was no easy fix. They helped me in any way possible..and then some. Good people at that shop and the reviews tell it all. I wish I had called them first when I broke down. Would have saved me $184 quote from a mechanic who didnt follow thru with fixing my bus. Great fast service. Smoke is one cool cat and the honesty he showed me was my #1 deal with him. I knew what was wrong with my truck, I just didnt have the resources to fix it myself. He knew off the bat what was wrong and gave me a great price to fix it. Will be coming back if I have anymore issues again.

Smoke found a problem I had been having for over a year and a half. I went to 3 other Diesel shops before which could not figure out the problem which cost me a lot of money and grief. I can highly recommend this shop for any vehicle repairs. Smoke is honest, fair pricing and easy to deal with. I read the one bad review. Not sure what happened there. I guess no one is perfect...

A few weeks ago, one of the windows stopped working on my 07 Dodge Caliber. I called several mechanics in town, all of which told me to try an automotive glass place. I called several automotive glass places, all suggested I try a mechanic - even suggesting ones that I had already called. Thankfully, I found No Limit. They immediately said they could fix it, and that it would be simple and quick after they got the part needed. Smoke was very helpful and accomodating with my strange schedule (I work long night hours), even offering to drive me home while he worked on my car so that I could get some sleep. They will definitely be getting my business in the future, and I recommend them to anyone looking for a new mechanic.

I was driving a 2013 Dodge 3500 with a 6.7 Cummins diesel when I started experiencing low voltage issues. Ended up stranded in Bastrop late Sunday night on a Memorial Day Weekend. No limit Diesel was the only response I got that night. Even though they were 45 minutes away Smoke indicated he would drive out the next morning and assess the problem. Smoke and Lance quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to locate the part we needed. They were able to retrieve the part in a very timely manor. Within the hour of there return they had us back on the road. These men were very courteous, professional and reasonable. I will not hesitate to call on them in the future. Best repair shop in Texas hands down

Took 6 months to fix the engine in my truck. 3 months just to tell me I needed to buy a new engine. I bought the new engine and he put it in but the EXACT same problems showed up a month later. Smoke is shady and not trustworthy. He takes forever, lies, makes up excuse after excuse! I found out later he had my truck sitting in the field behind his shop for over 4 months before he actually worked on it. He promised that because he took so long he would cut the price down but then he charged full price.

Couldnt help me out but took time out of his day to find someone who could without leaving me hanging stand up guy!

Well its smokes diesel now. And smoke just dont throw parts on your vehicle. He diagnoses it downn to the end. Then fixed it. Most places just keep putting parts on till they get it right
