Justifiably so. The pro they hired in my stead is significantly more experienced than myself, even though I think Im (very) slightly more charming. ;)If capability is greater than charm for you (as it SHOULD BE!) there is very little else you need to know.I recommend the brand highly. They diagnosed the problem the same day and even helped me save a few by allowing me to provide the replacement parts for them to install. I have been using Frankenstein for almost 10 years for my computer issues. I run several businesses and I dont have the luxury of an IT department to handle problems. I try to keep the best equipment and keep it up to date but still hard drives fail, emails become conflicted (usually authentication issues), and other issues I cant fix on my own. Its also an issue of time. They can get me back up and running quickly. Thats value! A very capable crew of specialists can remote into your computer and work through problems. Been a customer for years. Have had no computer issues for quite a while. Recently had a virus/malware occurrence over a weekend. Left a detailed message, Tony (owner) called me back. Said he’d have Ryan (manager) contact me first thing Monday. Ryan has always taken super care of me. He’s always gone the extra mile in helping/advising me. He handed me over to an ‘A’ Team technician named Ryan (very, very knowledgeable) and man was he good!! Took remote of my laptop and went to work...fast, efficient and thorough. Took less than 30-minutes to find the issue and eliminate the problem. I use BitDefender and am very pleased with the capabilities, but the cavalry needed to be called in on this one. I am thankful I met this company years ago. Tony’s assembled a great Team, who really gives a s*** about the customer. I had a delay making me arrive late with no appointment. Arrived, read the sign on the door: closing hours change. By 1minute, and they are closed all weekend. I now have to wait till Monday. I cant, Monday is too late so now I have to go somewhere else. Frustrating but its no ones fault.

Took a new gaming build in that I couldn’t get to post. Had sent email late night before and they replied first thing in the morning. After dropping off they quickly got back to me and gave me a very clear and well explained diagnosis. Were very honest in telling me I should attempt build with replaced components versus paying them to do it. Even gave very helpful advice about overclocking my processor that wasn’t even part of this service call.Would definitely recommend and looked to be one of only places in area that get lots of gaming rigs in reviews.

These guys got my gaming computer up and running after my ram died a painful death. They know their stuff and now my computer is running better than before the ram death incident. I will definitely go back if I have the misfortune of having more pc issues.

They helped me put together my desktop, then after it broke down after a few months, not only were they not able to fix the very computer they built, they also kept recommending expensive replacement parts. So now I ended up with a partially built computer after the extra fees I paid to put it together in the beginning.Minor: brought the computer in in a protection box. The front desk just dropped the computer and the box outside the door when I was picking up and had me put it back in myself. Generally inconsiderate service.

Actually a pleasant experience. Ive been there 3 times. Each time greeted and treated well. Once I got free advice, another time it was quickly apparent they could not help, no charge. The other time it took a couple of days to get a necessary part, but I was kept informed and everyone was polite and helpful. This is my go to electronics place.

My work laptop keyboard was flaking out on me. I thought it was going to need a new keyboard. John took a look and was able to quickly fix the keyboard without replacing it. (Saving me $360) Then didnt charge me anything. Great customer service and Ill definitely go back to Frankenstein Computers in the future.

Had the fan go out on my laptop, Frankenstein was my second diagnostic and seemed like it was reasonable pricing however. One of the tech guys (Jon****) attempted to scam me by insisting i completely wiped my computer that it would be a extra 180 to do a os repair etc . I let it be had him fixed only the fan which he did . Even though the keyboard and charger port was popped out of place and was not remounted correctly . I picked it up, reset the laptop myself for free. maybe the owner encourages false diagnostics to be able to charge more . Scam artists at this location Beware ! Im a black man maybe thats why i got horrible service. The truly intelligent person is one who can pretend to be a fool in front of a fool who pretends to be intelligent.

I cant picture my experience going any better with them. Everyone was on top of it, kept me informed throughout the repair, and finished earlier than expected. 5 stars!

This place is awesome! My daughter stepped on her new chromebook and I needed documentation for an insurance claim. This place patiently waited for Asus to respond for parts info and wrote the letter. Then when the insurance company wanted additional details they updated the letter no charge in less than an hour. They were great with answering my questions and keeping me updated.

I have used their services on several occasions and each time, I have left satisfied with the results. They are upfront about cost and although my repairs were minor, they were done in a timely fashion and the staff is always friendly and appreciative. The building is easy to spot from the road, but you can miss the turn in to the business if you arent paying close attention. Parking is a bit limited as well though its never caused me an issue. I was happy with the cost and will continue to take my business to Frankenstein Computers.

So happy to have found these guys! They are great! Not the cheapest in town but as you know, you usually get what you pay for, and these guys are worth every penny! We had a laptop where the hinge had come loose not confident to try and fix it ourselves we brought it up to Frankensteins the staff was very friendly and helpful. They popped it open found the issue (a loose screw) fixed it and said have a nice day! Cannot give them enough praise for how great they were even in the short time we spent there. We will be coming here should we ever have any issues in the future and recommend them to anyone else trying to find a repair place in the area.

I mistakenly deleted my external hard drive, which was loaded with 11 years worth of precious family memories. The folks at Frankenstein took wonderful care of me, treating my personal problem as if it were their utmost priority. They were able recover all of my files, photographs, and documents within 24 hours and charged me a very fair price for my priceless treasures (literally 100s less than I was quoted elsewhere). If you are wanting to have a system built then I will recommend this place hands down. Their communication is spot on and staff are top notch. They refreshed my eight year old system with a new motherboard, ram, cpu and power supply and SSD while re using a new video card and hard drive that I had recently installed in my previous build. I am currently going through my second RMA with my motherboard and Jonathan has been extremely helpful in this process. I brought the system yall built up for me because it was having an issue and Jonathan found out that the motherboard is having a problem correctly identifying the M.2 SSD on both M.2 slots on the motherboard. I received the motherboard back from RMA and it is having the same problem, a new RMA has been received, along with a shipping label. Jonathan uninstalled the motherboard for me (a paid service, one that is worth it for me) so I could send it back to the manufacturer. I am most certainly keeping the five star review I did.

Fast and awesome customer service!!! Ryan is very good at explaining, to a not so tech savy person, what is going on and what they can and cant do. They seem very honest and straight forward and if it is something they do not do they refer you to specialist that can help you fix the issue. Very impressed!!!

Go here first.I called 5 places looking for an electrons repair shop that would solder a broken power terminal on an led light board. I was met with we cant work on those by everyone I called. I just needed a connection re-soldered, it doesnt matter what it was attached to.Frankenstein were the only people to say we dont work on those normally but come in and we will see what we can do.And they did exactly what I was asking of them. They did it quickly, they were courteous, and they were certainly affordable (much cheaper than I was expecting ).Thank you so much Tim! Tony, Mitch and the guys have been taking care of our computer problems since 2006. They are always available to come by for emergencies and have a quick turnaround if the pc has to go to the shop. I called this morning and talked to John. I told him that my laptop was having issues connecting to the internet, and I needed to make a same-day appointment to take it in. After I explained the symptoms, John asked me if I have a few minutes to try something out, before I took it in. He walked me over the steps to uninstall a few network adapters, and then reboot the laptop. Sure enough, that fixed the problems I was having, without the need to take the laptop in, and at no charge!While I was impressed with John’s technical skills, it is his honesty and integrity that impressed me even more. This is definitely A++ service in my book, and I would have given him more than 5 stars if I could :-)

Jonathan came out again, set it all up and made sure it would communicate with the other devices in our home. I went to the store today to take care of an issue i had my computer being laggy. I dont know which employee i talked to but he said that it could be a simple setting i could fix in my computer.He was very honest and said that it might be better for me to save the 50$ i would have had to pay for the diagnosticBottom line. Legitimate and efficient service. I spilt my coffee on my computer and the screen went out. I was very nervous. They took my laptop apart and cleaned it up right away. I would like to give them negative star if I can. I have a key drop off from my laptop. I tried to fix it by myself so I knew it might be a small pad under the key had issue. I brought my laptop to the company, thought they might have part available since I need use my laptop frequently and did not want to wait online shop.The front desk brought my laptop into their back office and let me wait in front, and after the laptop brought back, one of the small hooks for the key on the keyboard is broken. This forced me to replace the whole key board. I know it maybe too cheap to repair one drop-off key for a company. But they can tell me that they want to fix it instead of force me replace the whole key board by destroy my laptop!.Never go to this site!
