Paul and his team are top notch accountants! I accidentally got forced into starting a small business. I knew my career would take me there eventually, but not as fast as it did! I looked up local CPAs on google and the first one I got a secretary who was like, let me have him call you back yada yada. I didnt have time for games, I needed answers fast as I was slung into the world of independent contracting.I called Launch Consulting, and right away it was Paul. He asked all the right questions on the intake and I was able to immediately schedule face time with him the same week. He offers 1 hour phone consultation for cheaper, but Im a big face to face guy so I paid the extra coin to meet him face to face. I truly think it made a difference too because he was able to whiteboard out some math with me while we looked over my previous years tax documents.I had a lot of questions about what were reasonable expenses. He laughed hysterically when I tried to make a case for writing off a giant Yeti cooler. He got where I was coming from, but he was just surprised that no one had tried asking him that before. I eventually bought my Yeti Paul (if youre reading this), and no I didnt expense it. The same meeting we went over estimated tax payments based on what my wife and I already paid and best options for filing for a corp and more. I left his office feeling confident and like I made a great partner to take along my journey.By the end of January it was time for filing, and his system of uploading documents couldnt have been easier. I followed all his directions and he had my return filled promptly, with a windfall to boot! But everything I just described is the easy stuff. Where Paul has truly shined is through recent trials and tribulations.When things got tough recently due to COVID-19 Paul was in constant contact with his clients via email. Once the CARES Act was signed into action Paul and his teams rifled through the 800+ page document pretty much over night to provide prompt advisement on what options were out there. Sure everyone was getting bits and pieces through the news and this that and the third, but nothing is better than getting the most detailed facts from your trusted CPA. If it wasnt for his early communication I wouldnt have been able to start making the moves on keeping liquidity for my business, which unfortunately is recruitment, and theres not a lot of hiring going on right now!Aside from being a consummate professional Paul really cares about his clients on a personal level. He remembers little things about your goals and dreams and makes you feel like hes a part of them, because ultimately he is. Paul just gets it. Knowledgeable, personable, and dependable. In particular I was looking for a CPA who is accessible by phone and/or in person, friendly, personable, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and really knows their stuff. I emailed Paul Glantz about 2 weeks ago to discuss possibly handling my 2015 tax return. We then spoke on the phone. I decided to hire him to take care of my tax return. He met all of my criteria. I was relieved and confident that I had found the right CPA. Everything went smoothly and as of yesterday my return is finished. I am very pleased with how he handled everything and I highly recommend Paul.
