This is a scam, save your money and move on. We applied for our WBE and SBA certification months ago. I had called and reached out dozens of times and never heard anything until just this week this was their response:Unprofessional Emails:Hello. You failed to complete the appeal process as instructed via email in November 2020.Hence, your application is terminated with monies paid lost.We also are choosing not to work with you or your company in the future because you cannot and did not follow directions for participation. This email terminates our relationship. We suggest you find another agency to work with.Thank You,Thank You,Hello. We are not interested in working with your organization. You failed to follow the rules and do not perform due diligence. Your lack of due diligence causes us to waste our time with you. Hence, we have no more time for you. Thanks & Good Luck.Thank You,Save your money, were reporting this to FTC.

Horrible experience! Very rude and un professional taking $395 from me this time last year (2019) for an unprovided service with a rude message saying “You should’ve read the Terms of Service” when I asked for an extension to get my documentation submitted and attempted to auto renew this year (2020) for $395 (just received a decline notice in the middle of the night from my credit card company, thank you). Otherwise it may have slipped through and they could continue to steal $395 annually for a service of certification that was never provided. I am amazed that this phony company (I’m thinking it is one manipulative person) that is making a living off of this scam. How is this continuing? It’s hard enough to operate a business with integrity, can’t imagine how this person lays their head down to sleep at night?!? I wish I had the time to take it to the courts. Do not fall for this absolute scam.

These people are a scam. I used them the first year and after a long hassle they issued me the certificate but on the renewal they charged my credit card on file and never processed my renewal certificate. Two months of emails and voicemails and no reply. Then I filed a dispute charge with my credit card and within a few hours I received a reply that I filed my supporting documentation for renewal incorrectly. With no explanation of what is missing or required. These guys are a scam. I’m still fighting the dispute. Stay away and find another agency that is actually credible for your certifications.I went to the address provided and there is NOT a business there. The phone number is ONLY and answering machine. Probably this is a guy in his garage with a printer issuing fake certificates. I wish I verified all this before paid them previously. I’ll be reporting this scam operation to the Better Business Buearu and to the FBI and to the Texas Commission.

I honestly wish I would have done research before giving this place any money. This is a bogus organization. Their “certificate“ holds no authority in dealing with any government agencies. You will be charged again without notice upon the anniversary of you attaining this so-called certificate. Their personnel does not answer the phone, nor do their responses reasonable of any type of a professional organization via email. This business does not even belong to the Better Business Bureau!

D- Rating with the BBB. Their address is a mail drop location, no real office. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !! They take your money, provide no service. I have been waiting on this certification thinking it was being processed. Called their office today, no answer, no reply to my email. Called AmEx who I used to pay for their service and disputed the charges.

This company is a complete scam. We have tried multiple times to contact them. The address they list is for a mailbox at Regions which is a office rental place. When contacting them(Regions) they had no other contact info for “Texas Certification Directory” and had never met anyone from TCD in person. We have filed a police report and disputed the charges. After reading the owners reply to past poor feedback I can’t wait to hear his reply. We would gladly meet face to face at your office place to discuss any issues. Please check your files for GFXI, Inc. I bet you do have us in your files. I have left another message for your company to call ours directly... Another no call no show on your part.

This company is a SCAM! Stay far away from this Jamie DeMericas.Exact wording from his email to me,Doing business with you is a waste of time because you cant do something simple, when asked for a refund because his company takes your money and never delivers the service they claim. The office does not exist, no one will call you back. If you have come across this scam I would recommend turning him into the attorney general and make a consumer complaint.

Scam! Do not give them your credit card or they will attempt to wipe out your business account. Im going to have them formally investigated. Enough of ripping off women, minorities, and disabled!UPDATE: 9-25-18After a quick online search I found out about the pattern that begins once you give your credit card to any of Jamie Demericas companies known as Texas Small Business Association and the Texas Certification Directory. No surprise why the Google rating is a 1.7, their better business bureau rating is a C+, and they are full stories written on Ripoff Report. The 30+ complaints are worth a read. I called my credit card after this company that provided absolutley no service and wouldnt return my calls or emails charged me almost $800! Then I left my original review. That got emails from Jamie Demericas but you would never believe what they said. Read these:Hello Big Mouth,First and foremost, we are going to file a libel lawsuit against you in Texas court for the Google claim. Yes, you will lose. You exhibit the characteristics of a female business owner who does not have the temperament for business and behave strictly on emotions with no foresight of future consequences for your actions. We will teach you the consequences and have fun doing it.Again, you exhibit that you are not made to be a business owner. Why? Some guy who we never heard of and is not involved in this transaction sent us a message. So, you have to run to a guy to fight your battles that you volunteered for? The more you talk & write, the more you dig yourself into a legal whole that you cant get out of.P.S. We are not scared of lawsuits. We enjoy them. Even if you are broke financially, liens and garnishments will affect you well into your death (ie. probate).P.S. I was also a State of Texas Lobbyist for many years.

This company is a scam. Do not use! They told me they tried to renew my certification and the credit card did not work so they cancelled my certification. I gave them a new credit card and they charged it but told me I did not fill out the required paperwork in time and would need to reapply and pay another $395.00!

I applied for the Minority Business Certification, I received unprofessional emails and some threatened me with retaliation if I posted anything about the conduct of the business. He kept my $495.00, He is taking advantage of consumers and should not be in the business to help those seeking equality in business opportunities.

This company is a SCAM!! I set up the service with them last year(2016), they asked for a document notarized and they give you a time frame to send it which they do not tell you and if you dont send it within that time frame they dont do the certification at all and they keep you money and charge you every year there after even though you dont have their services and never received the certification so basically they want me to pay every year for something I dont have. I wish I would have read the reviews before I tried to set up the services with them last year.
