Ariel and co. were awesome! They saved us when we were in a bad place with our new house which had been flipped....badly. Both showers needed demolishing and rebuilding, and we needed it done quickly! Ariel moved things around to get to us quickly and they did an amazing job, actually finishing a day earlier than anticipated! The showers look better than they did before and, most importantly, dont leak anymore! We will definitely use Capital State Remodel for future projects.

Ariel was practical, hard working, and collaborative, offering insights but always insistent on giving me what I wanted. His prices were extremely reasonable and he clearly discussed the cost of each change order (initiated by me) before proceeding with the work. He worked with suppliers to find good deals on materials I hadn’t already picked out and worked hard to find a solution for every problem that we uncovered as we ripped apart my kitchen. Everyone who has seen his work is extremely impressed and I have already recommended him to friends looking for a contractor. 10/10 would work with him again.

I couldnt be happier with my experience with Ariel and co. We needed a window installed, which required cutting through stone. We had been flaked out on by one contractor and had a second one scheduled through Home Advisor, but did NOT feel good about it. We were hoping (desparate) for an alternative option, but didnt have much time. We wanted an estimate the next day, if possible, which I figured was asking a lot.Capital State Remodel was my first choice, based on their stellar reviews. When I called, I spoke directly to Ariel, rather than leaving a message or speaking with a dispatcher. He was very professional. After hearing our situation, he explained that he was going into a meeting, but would call back after he spoke to his framer about coming out for the estimate. He did call back, as promised.His estimate was very reasonable and he was willing to work with our tight schedule, so we felt very good about proceeding. We are so glad that we did. He also tried to anticipate anything that may affect the price ahead of time to reduce surprises.All of the workers were friendly, professional, and worked hard. They were mostly on time and all did a great job. Ariel came out to personally meet us and inspect the progress.Initially, we were stressed and skeptical about the process, but Ariel was patient, professional, and built our confidence at every turn. He made it so easy for us. The window looks fantastic for our sons new big boy room. Capital State Remodel did a beautiful job on my stone patio. They finished the project quickly and efficiently and helped me design a patio that would be suitable for the small area and slope of my backyard. They were able to work within my limited budget and helped me select the best and least expensive stone. When a few stones settled more in some areas, they re-leveled them at no additional cost. It is a lovely patio.

We were so pleased with the work of Ariel and his crew on our kitchen remodel. We found Capital State through an internet search, and when Ariel came to meet with us, we quickly recognized his expertise and knew he would be great to work with. Ariel was prompt, communicative, fair, and we felt like he genuinely had our familys best interest at heart. He was on site almost daily to make sure work was completed on time and to his expectations. Our project was completed over the busy Thanksgiving season, and Ariel arranged for the team to work overtime to meet the deadline.The crew of experts he brought in were excellent craftsmen and were meticulous. We have two small children, and the crew was diligent in taping off areas to minimize the spread of dust and dirt. They cleaned up the work site every night, which made living through the renovation bearable. Ariel also worked with us to minimize the amount of time that our kitchen appliances and water were offline. Our project entailed some unforeseen circumstances once the walls were opened up, and Ariel helped us think critically about our options and was very fair in terms of price. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and will absolutely call Ariel for our next project.

We hired Capital State Remodel to basically rebuild our pier and beam house in July 2017. We had a semi-plan with semi-drawings, but Ariel was able to get us started within a very short period of time. He quoted us a very reasonable and realistic timeline and worked very hard to get us back in the house as fast as possible. We had a brand new infant daughter and he respected our desire for her to have a home.I am a very “cost conscious“ person and I wanted to have lots of input into materials. We hunted down doors and vanities at Habitat for Humanity and on Craigslist and Ariel was more than happy to work with us on that.Ariel always showed up. From the day the first permit was pulled Ariel was on site coordinating with his subs and clearly communicating a schedule to us. We were staying on the other side of town and he was always available to meet me at the property when something needed to be explained or discussed. Even on the occasions that he had news that we didn’t want to hear he showed up and dealt with it.He was very respectful of our wishes even when he disagreed, and he was never too proud when he turned out to be right.Overall Ariel was very easy to work with and easy to talk to and I would call him again if I needed anything else done. He’s a genuinely decent guy in a business that can be pretty sketchy.Probably the only drawback is that he is a Yankees fan. Luckily, they weren’t very good when he was working on our house.

Capital State Remodel replaced most of the flooring that we were using in our school. They brought the material, installed and when a problem was detected with the install, they took out the problem section and reinstalled after solving the problem. They were professional and we were very happy with their work and recommended them to friends and family.
