Great experience, no high pressure sales pitches or misleading financial quotes. The finance department did an outstanding job finding lower APR rates, which lowered my monthly payments by ~ $100.All staff were professional, courteous, and very helpful. This automobile purchase was one of the smoothest and carefree experience that I have experienced.Thank you
I had the best experience here! We went in knowing what car we wanted but our sales rep Perry G made the process so painless. He made awesome recommendations, was knowledgeable about the technology and features and so professional. The rest of the team was awesome as well. They all went above and beyond to make my dream car happen. The customer service was incredible.
The service was great! Curtis was a lot of help, and did everything that he could to get me the best deal and I am so appreciative. I’ve had bad experiences at other car dealers that always let me to push off getting a new car but Curtis did great! All the staff was really friendly from the start. Can’t forget Jess, shes amazingggggg! She helped me the evening that I got my car and was great very, detailed and patient, but then that same night she told me she found me an even better rate and saw her the next morning to close the deal. She is so hard working and dedicated to her clients, Volkswagen is lucky to have her!! Glad she moved here from Colorado 🥰Love Volkswagen at Onion Creek!
I had two nails in my rear tire this month on my 2019 VW. Both times they were able to patch the tire and get me in right away. The communication has improved drastically this month as it was a bit lacking before. I definitely commend Fernando and Gary in the bay for friendly and concerned service AND for driving the shuttle. Keep up the improvements!
Amazing service, helpful in any way possible. It was not a hassle (maybe for the first time ever!!) to buy a car in person. Thank you Onion Creek VW!!!!
Professional and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely bring my Tiguan back for maintenance here.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS, especially if it is an insurance claim. My car was towed there and claim initiated on 8/27. Estimated completion date was 9/7. That day came and went. Arturo was not responding to my daughter or the adjuster, which drug out the repair work. My husband and I had to drive there from Houston to get their attention. Started working with Kevin, the Service Manager, on the repair going forward and it was a painfully slow process to get the mechanical repairs finally completed on 9/23 (partly on Progressives party, partly theirs). Kevin has the car towed to Caliber Collision on 9/23 for body work and promised an estimated completion date. Here we are on 10/1 and Kevin has not given us a date but instead keeps saying hell call and report back to us. I called Caliber Collision directly, and they have been waiting OVER A WEEK for Kevin to respond to their calls and emails to authorize the work!!! Meanwhile, I am paying out of pocket $500/week for a rental car! And Onion Creek VW was paid out all the money for the claim, including the body work, so they should see it through with Caliber until the end. I am at my wits end, so now resorting to try to get their attention every way I can. Terrible, incompetent service.
Excellent service and staff. Out sales person, Reggie Collins, was exceptionally helpful and informative, walking us through multiple options until we found one that was perfect for us and was never pushy. Can’t say enough about Reggie Collins, Ray Green and the rest of the staff. This is how car buying should be.
Reggie Collins was a wonderful sales representative. I definitely recommend this VW as a whole & Reggie Collins as a representative. I love my new VW Tiguan!
This review is in regards to the service department. About a year and a half ago I got an oil change and the tech didn’t get the drain plug in appropriately. 30 minutes later driving around town and my oil light comes on. I go back, they fix it, apologize profusely and offer me a free oil change for the future. I take my free oil change and then decide I won’t venture there again. I’ve gone up to the north Austin location since then. So, against my better judgement, I went back today for an oil change to get the car ready for my daughter to take her license road test on Monday. We pick up the car after the service and it starts making a funny noise on the way home. Get out and see that the splash guard was not put back properly. Hanging on by 1 attached area. My daughter can’t back out of th driveway without mangling it. So now I have to go under the car and take it off all the way so she can drive it fit her road test. I take my car to the dealership so it will be taken care of and the both mistakes that have happened here are completely unacceptable and basics in an oil change! Now I know FOR SURE this time, that I will never return. Ugh!
My coolant light can on the second time I used the car. It never went above 200. My son checked it and there was only 1/2 of the coolant in there. It was fine till y’all looked at it. When I called, all I got was the type to use. That’s it. Not an I’m sorry. Maybe bring it back. I am disappointed in this and also the timing they let me get it done at 6k when I explained I didn’t know how it worked. They just had me being it in early. No explanation that I might want to wait a few more thousand miles. Very disappointed.
Top scores for Onion creek VW. the Service Advisor, Rick, handling my repairs was outstanding.Rick updated me- Daily, answered my questions such that I felt assured regarding the high performance profile delivery one would expect .Their free Customer Shuttle Van picked up and delivered me to my repaired and washed car.And upon taking possession of my vehicle, I took a few days to test out repairs and performance and my car was very happy as am I.
Sold us a broken vehicle, refusing to make it right. If I could give them zero stars I would. When you buy a vehicle you expect and they give you to understand that the vehicle is functioning. They say they cant sell you a vehicle that wont pass a car inspection. They did. Bottom line. Dont buy cars here.
The sales team was not pushy, but the whole process was very slow and there was a good deal of confusion along the way. It also took more than two months and expired temp tags to get my permanent plates from them, despite repeated attempts to contact them. The team just seems disorganized. I like the vehicle I bought, but didnt love the buying process.Updated because I just took my vehicle in for its first service. Im just as puzzled by the service group as I am by the sales group. My tire picked up a nail and needed to be patched, the car was due for an oil change and I received a notice that it had an active recall. The pros: was able to get an appointment for the next day, they were able to get everything I needed done, and my car was ready for pickup about 2.5 hours after drop-off (with complimentary car wash). The cons: instead of an oil change, they did my 10k maintenance. Not necessarily bad, but I only get 2 of those complimentary maintenance packages for my car (10k and 20k) and spending one on a car thats 7 months old and has 2k miles seems like a waste and not at all what I asked them to do. And of course, when I asked why they did that I didnt receive an answer in response.
Took my 3 year old vehicle in to have the lane departure system looked at and have the spark plugs replaced. Three days later they tell me it’s fixed and ready for pick up. I get into my car and the check engine light was on (it wasn’t when I brought it in) and the the lane departure issue was still not fixed. Do not recommend even buying a Volkswagen unless you want to constantly be at the dealership.
Excellent customer service in the service department at Onion Creek Volkswagen. I am from out of state and new to Austin, TX so wouldnt you know my check engine light came on. They made sure I had everything I needed while they did the repair. Checked my warranties in their systems to tell me what would be covered. When I came to pick up my car they even washed it. Thank you Michael for keeping me updated. The new manager even came out to answer a couple of questions. This will be my service place for my VW in Austin. Go here!
I purchased my car almost two weeks ago and love it! Rosemary was easy to talk to and deal with throughout the sales process. This was one of the easiest and smoothest vehicle purchase I have experienced. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I was not expecting to be congratulated on loud speaker and by other employees who were not apart of the sale process. It was very nice and I would definitely recommend purchasing from this dealership!~Chantell C.
The service Mgr, Kevin saved the day. My son,, a freshman in college, was a 1st time customer. Arturo service advisor attempted to take advantage of him and not do the service that was requested. Due to Kevins awesome customer service, we will use again if needed.
Went on September 1st for an oil change at 3 PM and, aside from the check-in, no one provided me updates on the status of my car. After an hour and a half, I had to go and ask about the car and it took 3 different members to look for my keys... not my best visit
Ruben was awesome to work with and I had such a good experience with finding a lease through Onion Creek! After having a bad customer experience at Charles Maunde, it was refreshing and easy to worth Ruben who helped me find the best option and price for me. My dad was with me and said it was the best car sales experience hes ever witnessed. The staff was so nice, thorough, clapped when i signed the lease and the sales manager even came out to shake my hand and congratulate me. Im glad I gave them my business.
Kevin in the service department went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. We had a flat tire and the dealership was able to get us in and out the same day changing out our damaged tire.
Nick the sales person was great. It was pretty easy to get to an agreeable deal as well. I bought an older Honda but be aware that they will have some dealer options on the VW’s.
I had a pleasant experience while making my first car purchase as well as the services I receive.Would definitely recommend this dealership.I would like them to improve on the financial services department of the dealership. I wish they were a lot more proactive on my application.
First visit to have car serviced. We found the service advisor, Travis, and other staff to be very helpful and answer any and all questions with professional courtesy and patience. All work completed thoroughly and within allotted time. Will definitely be back for future service. Pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
After receiving less-than-satisfactory service at the dealership where I bought my car, I decided to take my car for its first 10,000 mile service to Onion Creek VW. All persons my husband and I encountered at OC were terrific. Polite and competent, especially the service manager Todd and our service advisor Michael. They both went the extra mile. The other dealership just lost our business!
Michael in the service department went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of. He made sure I was in and out quickly!!
My car shopping for a used car was painless. Walked in, met Curtis, showed him the picture and the Tiguan is now parked in the driveway. Would definitely return for another car once Iʻm better established.
Go see Perry. Very upfront and honest. Answered all my questions.
Very helpful willing to do everything they can to get you into a vehicle ☺️
Bought a 2019 honda with 20,000 for a steal price of under 22,000, grate prices on cars highly recommend this place 5 stars all the way
I am very pleased with my vehicle’s first service experience. I set up an appointment about a week before and received emails and text messages to remind me and alert me in case I needed to make changes. The day of the appointment, I got a text asking to text back when I arrived on the lot. Arrived a little early and was taken in pretty quickly for the oil change. Very positive and good experience. Customer service was excellent!
All was great, next time please just dont forget to put the oil change reminder sticker on my windshield...
Completely dishonest and manipulative management. I called Tuesday (7/6/2021) to schedule an appointment for Monday (7/12/2021) just for them to hold my car for 3 work days and not be looked at, without any loaner vehicle or transportation available for those days. I was told it would take up to 2 days for them to give me a diagnosis on two issues I was experiencing. One of which I had been dealing with when I bought the car from this dealership back in March of 2020. Any time I’ve tried to get my car looked at prior to this, I’ve dealt with the most underwhelming and inconsistent coordination in the service department. With the benefit of the doubt, I still decided to go ahead and drop off my car for my scheduled appointment which ended up being a big waste of time. I was never contacted regarding my vehicle process and it seemed like I was always given the run around of an estimated time when there would be a diagnosis on my vehicle even on the third day. I’m sure my car would be there for another day or two had I not just said screw this and picked it up.I was able to call Charles Maund VW and schedule an appointment for this following week with the reassurance that I will be able to get my car back the SAME day I drop it off. They are probably the most incompetent and unprofessional department and dealership you’ll come across. You’re wasting you’re time if you think they will take care of you. Go anywhere else but here
Scheduled service online, found the service package I wanted at a good price. When I arrived at the dealership they told me the online pricing was wrong, and it was more than double the advertised price. I dont think I will use this dealership again, regardless of the reason, they bait and switched me. I feel taken advantage of and they did not honor their mistake. Lots of options, Ill try someone else fore sure.
Easy peasy. Great communication and super nice. Will keep going to dealership shop.
Do not stand by their promises. We paid for the service package when we purchased the vehicle. Each time they complete the service, they have a bill waiting for us. We have to explain to them each time the same ole story, until they find the contract in the computer. Say they will wash it. Never comes back washed after completion of service. Upon completion of servicing, they returned the vehicle with the check engine light still on. Don’t seem to take pride in customer service as an organization.
Quick and friendly. Went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. Clean, quality workmanship.
A 2 1/2 hour wait for an oil change and brake inspection with no car wash (I turned it down because I didn’t want to wait extra for that) is not acceptable, especially when I had booked an appointment days in advance. Work on this please or I’m done with this dealership. I got 4 new tires including a balance, etc at a local tire shop and I was out of there in 40 minutes yesterday just to offer some comparison.
I was greeted by Victoria Vega at VW. She made me feel comfortable and confident that I would find the right SUV. She was very informative and very patient. I must say this might have been the best car shopping experience ever. Thank you Victoria, I’m loving my 2021Tiguan.
Other than needing to check their phone queue system, the service by Michael and staff were outstanding.
I found the car I wanted yesterday morning online and went to the dealership early afternoon. Drove out shortly thereafter in my new used car a happy man!Donovan in the used car sales end was prompt and courteous and helpful through the process.Finance department was very easy to work with and I enjoyed the experience.I highly recommend Onion Creek VW in way South Austin. I’ve had some horrible experiences walking into used car sales - especially the big boys who preach service blah blah blah - well these guys did it right!!
Very honest, fair dealership. Much better than the other dealer in Austin. Price negotiation was quick and transparent. I had an e experience. Scott was wonderful!
Called up because I found the car I wanted, told Amanda we were coming up from San Antonio and asked what we needed to do because I wanted this car. Set an appointment for Saturday morning, even got an email from the salesman Nick Lopez saying the car was ready, so we drive up to Austin, only for Nick to come out and tell us they sold the car two hours prior. He knew we were coming and didnt have the respect to call us and let us waste two hours. Why didnt Amanda say that we needed to put a deposit down to hold the car. So for out of town buyers, dont bother making an appointment, they will not hold the car for you. Nor do they respect your time, spend your money elsewhere.
From out of town and recently moved to area. Onion creek was lots of help and the service was amazing. Definitely going back to great customer and car service.
Great customer service. Very cordial. And they get you taken care of right away. Always making sure that you are taken cared of even going as far as offering you something to drink. All of their staff is amazing.
This is the 3rd car my husband and I have purchased from OCVW. Every purchase is accompanied with great service! The salespeople are friendly & respectful; I worked with Nick & Trey. General Manager, CJ Barnett, came out to talk with my husband & I and we were very pleased with the value on my trade. I went from a 2017 car with 40,000 miles to a 2020 SUV with 8,000 miles for only $40 more per month. “Sweet Deal!”
Jorge was quick and knowledgeable when it came to servicing my vehicle. He also went out of his way to get me a vendor number for some work I need done. Great customer service!
I bought my 2013 VW here and then my 2017 VW as well. I love 5 minutes away. Every time I used to come here in the past, I had excellent experiences. However, things have definitely gone down hill. I realize that COVID put the service staff behind and that the service department is in itself understaffed apparently. However, I do not feel like that is a justifiable excuse for my terrible experience with my most recent service appointment, specifically the lack of communication. My cars clutch died just before 60,000 miles. (Yes I still drive a manual) I called the dealership in hopes that it would be covered under the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty only to find out it wasnt because it was considered wear & tear. Fine, not great news, but I understand it...even though I was definitely not thrilled to dish out $3,800 in addition to the tow truck costs, rental car costs & Uber costs while I had no car. When the tow truck dropped off my car, I was told that it would be an estimated 3-5 days for repair. They claimed they said 3-5 days for diagnostic, but all they said to me was 3-5 days. Nothing else. 6.5 days later I got a text message estimate of the $3800 cost and nothing else. No phone call explaining the work being done, charges, or estimated time remaining. Every time I called VW for an update, I was put on hold for like 30 minutes then when I asked to be transferred to the service department, I was put back in the hold queue to the main line for another 15 minutes. No one could help me. Knowing I needed a vehicle, I approved the charges and then asked for an estimated time frame on repair completion multiple times via text. 3 days later after a 3rd request, I was told that they were waiting on parts. Nothing else. 5 days later....my car was finally ready for pickup. When I called, they said the parts had arrived there 4 days earlier, so my car was sitting for 4 days....in which I had to incur more rental car costs and just felt so in the dark and helpless about when my vehicle would be ready. Of course the day it was ready (Saturday...in which they said probably Monday previously) my 1 year old took a 3 hour nap and I had to get to Enterprise to drop off the rental car first & then take an Uber to VW with my son & his car seat since the shuttle apparently doesnt operate on Saturdays. I called and said the earliest I could get there would be 5:05 since they closed at 5, and I asked if they would wait for me. I was bluntly told No because the manager makes those decisions and already decided to leave right at 5. I was already at Enterprise ready to drop off my rental car and grab an Uber. I eventually went home, paid for 2 more days of rental car (since VW is closed Sunday) and begrudgingly picked up my car on Monday. Thankfully, they knocked $300 off the price to account for the inconvenience, which as a single dad I do appreciate.....but man this whole experience just left a terrible taste in my mouth as I felt so devalued as a customer and as a person, when some simple honest communication about how long the entire process would take and how much it would cost wouldve gone MILES. I wouldve disliked the high cost and long wait time, but at least I wouldve been able to plan accordingly and not be in the dark and perhaps take it somewhere else with less headaches. I dont hold grudges, but I will have to look at other options in the future for my service or new car needs.
Volkswagen sucks. Supposedly they changed their policy where you cant get a radio passcode if you bought the factory radio from a salvage yard and you have the receipt. They demand the vehicle be physically present at their dealership even if the car is already at a salvage yard. What a joke their policy is. Had to waste time and gas just to return the radio back to where i bought it from. Never buy Volkswagen... Waste of money, rude service, ridiculous policies that restrict customers to purchase used parts.
Sim was an incredible individual (Salesman) to work with on our new car purchase. He was polite, listened, professional and very attentive during the process. We actual took several months looking at several dealers for best deal across Texas. After returning to Sim, he remembered our names (Very Impressive!) and was very helpful again.Since this is a corporate purchase, our buying company also was impressed with the engagement with him during the final stages.Said they would definitely be sending folks directly to him for other car purchases if VW.Nice to have a really enjoyable car buying experience. Thanks
Super friendly, great service, positive experience all around… and some darn good free coffee! 😊
Absolutely fantastic experience with all of my services and interactions at Onion Creek VW.I just moved here from Virginia and was very overwhelmed when my transmission and airbag light came on, as well as my steering wheel controls no longer working. I have a 2015 VW Golf TDI that I purchased from a dealership in VA in 2015.I was able to immediately schedule an appointment on their website (booked on a Tuesday for that Saturday). I was greeted by Todd who I cannot say enough wonderful things about! He was so kind and helpful right off the bat. He checked all of my warranties for me, called to review what services I needed, was not pushy in any capacity, and just overall was so helpful while providing consistent communication. I also needed to take some time to review what next steps I was going to take regarding services and prices, and Todd was so patient and understanding. When I confirmed my services needed, my car was finished the next day. Pick up was super quick and easy, there was no surprise payments or add ons, and my car came back super clean. As someone who has an absolute adult meltdown when it comes to car problems (which were amplified because Im in a new city), I have got to say this was the best dealership experience I have ever had. I will definitely be taking my car back for all of its further services here and, when its time, purchase another VW from Onion Creek.I highly recommend bringing your car here for services, especially if you are on the fence. Todd was 10/10 and I appreciate all of the hard work! Thank you!!
I was treated by Monty with respect and utmost courtesy. He tried to establish what I required and gave me various options to fix my car. He kept in touch thorough out the whole process. My car was repaired quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with the work. I highly recommend Onion Creek Volkswagen.
I have been coming in to Onion Creek Volkswagen after moving to Austin, Texas. It’s been two years and a handful of visits to perform the 10,20,30 K mile service on my Volkswagen Jetta as well as take care of any recalls/unprecedented minor safety checks. Michael helped me out on my most recent visit last week (April 2020) and I can say I am satisfied. I even got some very good tips and tricks from him and other service technicians as to how to buff out a minor scratch on my front hood/fender. I always walk in and walk out with a smile, very friendly atmosphere!
James in finance was absolutely wonderful. He truly went above and beyond to ensure my experience was flawless. I can’t recommend him enough. Great experience with Cullen as well during the actual buying process. I’ll be back for my next car.
Waiting for your vehicle to be serviced is no big deal with their comfortable lounge and free coffee bar! Service Rep Michael was fabulous! I dont own a VW but love coming here for the servicing on my Audi.
I had a great experience buying from Onion Creek Volkswagen. After a little negotiation, I feel I got a great deal on the car I wanted, and Im super happy with it. Shout-out to my sales rep, Sim, who was really a pleasure to work with.
My sales person Donovan was fantastic - very helpful. I would also like to thank the finance department who made my purchase a very pleasant and easy experience.Would highly recommend this dealership.
Onion Creek VW is very easy to work with when having service done on my vehicle (VW Golf). I was able to schedule on-line with plenty of options available when I checked for the day I wanted the service done. Service advisor was friendly and attentive. They did the service requested and completed the work within 2 hours. This is my third visit, and all have gone well.
Im an out of town buyer, and I called in about Certified Pre-Owned VW and dealt with Ruben Rosales (Sales) and James Carter (Finance). I ultimately purchased the car sight unseen, and both of these guys did a fantastic job on behalf of Onion Creek and made the entire process very quick and efficient.
I knew what I wanted when I went shopping for a car. I walked into the dealership and as soon as I said I want Mr. Singh got right on top of it. Within minutes he was pulling the exact car I wanted and showing it to me. He answered all my questions and listened to all the details I wanted to be added to the vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle they installed everything the next day and he drove it to my home almost an hour away. Mr. Singh was very nice and kept me informed the whole time and gave amazing Customer service. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a vehicle and ask for Mr. Singh you won’t regret it!
Terrible customer experience. Was sold a car that was not ready to be sold. The car has been in the shop more days than I have had it in my possession so that service can work out all the problems that this particular 2019 GTI has. Every time I have called in to speak with a service advisor to check the status of the car (5 days with zero contact about any updates of what is going on with the car) I have been transferred at least 3 or 4 times per call, ending in a voice-mail or a person that said they would look into the status but never returned a call. I feel like I dont even own the car anymore! Not that I really want to with the troubles it has been having.Update - AND they couldnt get me my metal plates on time! I had to call in to remind them I havent received metal plates before the dealer ones expire!
Impressed by this dealer and had a very positive experience. The agent (Curtis) who helped me navigate my pre-owned shopping process was knowledgeable, considerate, and a pro in all the ways. Shoutout!
Trust me on this. BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE SIMPLY AWESOME! Ask for Nick. Hes a GREAT Salesman.
I’m giving five stars because the service coordinator, Monty Liu, who helped me today. He was kind and compassionate and made me feel heard in a situation of a longer wait than was expected with an appointment. Thank you to the woman in the tea and beverage area for going above and beyond and making my tea and having a friendly conversation about different blends. Your kindness and engagement is appreciated.Gratitude to the guys in the service bay who are working on my car and changing the oil, I appreciate your hard work keeping my car running.I’m also giving props to the service manager for being helpful. And lastly, thank you To those who washed my car. I know it was a mess from being out in the country for a weekend :-) so thank you.
The salesman, Corey, was very patient and helpful in allowing me to try the features, especially adaptive cruise. We took it on a fairly long test drive so I felt comfortable going forward with the purchase. They gave it to me at the price I wanted and they were all very courteous without trying to rush me.
A bout a week or 2 I bought a vehicle and was assisted by Rosemary, she was very kind and made the whole process pretty smooth and helpful. If I had a question or concern she didnt hesitate to provide me with honesty and make sure that interests were in mind. Pretty cool person, had a goodtime.
Todd, one of the managers at Onion Creek VW, is very proactive and attentive to customer concerns. He stepped in to handle a service issue and made things right. You can tell right away that he cares about his job and taking care of customers.
The service went so easy and quick and they fixed everything I needed.
I had inquired online for a car the response was immediate. The service and customer care was 5 stars. My salesman Corey was spectacular putting in the work to get me into my dream car that Ive wanted since the day i got my license. I appreciate all the Staff at Onion creek Volkswagen for being top tier in customer service. I am looking forward to many more years with Volkswagen.Thank you.
Great service. Very professional. Went in for an oil change with an appointment. They gave me an estimated time it would be ready, and it was actually ready a half hour early. Lounge area is nice with wi-fi and coffee so I didn’t have to miss a beat with work.
Great place to drop your car off. Have a coffee bar in there too which is cool!
Scheduled an oil change and state inspection online. I arrived a little early so I checked in, was asked if I wanted car wash i said yes. I signed on the ipad agreeing to car wash, oil change and state inspection. After being there for a little over 2 hours my car was “ready”. Service advisor asked of i wanted inspection and I said yes 🤨 he said he accidentally unchecked that I wanted one. I said I was ready to go I then asked if my car was washed. He said no. So 2 out of the 3 things scheduled was not completed 😠 I was then offered a car wash for compensation even though we can them free anytime 🤦🏻♀️
I recently bought a preowned vehicle from this dealership. My time was limited and they were closing soon, so I made the mistake of deciding on taking the car after a quick look at it and a test drive. That was my fault, however, it is ridiculous how much there is to fix on the car. They had an entire day to check and put basic maintenance up to date, but they said that I had to take it as it was and that everything was good. They seemed to want us out of there as once we signed all of the documents, we were automatically treated differently. The brake pads are worn out up to the point that it was a safety hazard, the engine had less that 20% oil life, they did not fill up the radiator coolant OR break fluid, and on top of that, the tires are worn out and have 5 nails in them. The person that helped me said that the car was fine and ready to go.
Jose Luis was very attentive and answered all my questions. This was my first visit for my new vehicle. I felt I was given the facts about my cars maintenance needs and no pressure in making my decisions about what I wanted done. Waiting area was clean and comfortable.
Ruben is an AMAZING associate! He was very patient and informative with all our questions and he seemed to genuinely care about helping us find the right vehicle to take home. This dealership also has some pretty good deals, so give them a chance when youre car shopping!
I had a terrible first experience with Onion Creek VW. I arrived on time for my 9:00am appointment and waited all day. My car was not on a lift until 3:30pm, and I paid $160 at 5:20pm for the expected diagnosis. My second customer service rep was helpful, considering he took me on after my initial rep left for the day without notification.
The customer service is awesome. Got in and did all my paperwork quick. Nice cars on the lot very satisfied with my buy.
In the past, I have been impressed with this dealership and their service department but had a very difficult experience this time. The two main issues were related to doing the wrong work and then assuming that I wished to have the correct work done after the fact. The service advisor confused the control knob on the door of the car for the mirror with he rear view mirror itself and replaced that instead. Then when the time to order the correct part would have kept the car through the weekend, assumed I wanted the part ordered after I said we arent doing this. I suspect this was a particularly bad service advisor and not a general problem. They did make things right on the bill, but I must caution anyone dealing with service to make sure of what work is actually being done and that the service advisor actually understands it.
I will do everything in my power to avoid ever having to come back here again and it pains me to say as I only live five minutes from this location. After avoiding this location for over two years because of bad customer service, bad communication, what feels like poor work and not having a car for two weeks I had no choice but to come back when I ran into an issue again. I want to say that of the four men I spoke with, CJ and Fernando (I think that was his name) were super kind, seemed very genuine, and wanted to help me. They were super prompt in getting me taken care of and I was feeling somewhat hopeful. Todd had my car arrainged to be towed and that was the only thing I heard from him. The next day I get a call from Art telling me what my next steps would be so I go to the dealership to get everything squared away but the entire time, no matter who I talked to, the conversation felt very condescending. I waited for my car to be ready with a friend at the dealership and they mentioned it would take some time but we waited and it took a while, but I went in used the restroom waited some more and my friend suggested we drive around to see if my car was ready. I foolishly said no, they’d call me if it was ready. We drive around anyway and there it is just running and waiting for who knows how long. I went in and asked why I wasn’t informed it was ready, was given some lame excuse, then we looked at the car and I went in and paid the bill. It was an issue with my battery and was basically told hopefully it stays working. There is more to this story but my point is communication is terrible and I really do not feel comfortable with anyone on their team touching my car. I truly appreciate CJ for his kind demeanor, but I will not tolerate this level of service.
Great service. Got me in and out. I would refer Rosemary any day. Great dealership to deal with💯
Although the services at the VW dealer are way overpriced, the service personnel are top-notch. Monty, at the Onion Creek dealership provides excellent service! He overcommunicated everything to me (which is great) and he took time to explain all the repairs needed and even made recommendations on how to prioritize them to make the most financial sense. I will always request him for future service.
I called on Monday, June 28 & I was on hold for 1 hour & 20 minutes before I spoke to someone. I also sent a chat & no one ever responded to make an oil change & 10K miles appointment. My appointment was Wednesday, June 30 at 5pm. I arrived 5:07p due to traffic, no one came to greet me at my vehicle. I entered & spoke to all 3-4 advisors at their desk & everyone looked up at me & back at their computer continue working. Then the cashier lady noticed & softly asked if she can help & I said yes please I have an appointment & she said let me check which advisor is not busy. I stated apparently they are all busy because no one looked up & spoke to me. One advisor (I will not name) was the same advisor I spoke to via phone after the operator on Monday offered to assist me & take me back outside to my vehicle to ask questions & sign the consent to perform work. He did offer bottle of water & rinsed my car off at the end since it was missed. This is my 3rd Volkswagon, I have not purchased a VW from Onion Creek, I almost did a few years ago. Compared to customer service years ago which was top notch when the advisor greeted & came to your car & treating you like VIP. The poor customer service I experienced this week for the very 1st time EVER & I have moved away for 4 years & now returned was UNACCEPTABLE. The sales department made an announcement when someone purchased a VW followed with hand claps & congrats loudly through the dealership while I waited for my vehicle. The service department need to have that same energy. My name wasn’t on the schedule board so I guess the person in charge of that didn’t complete their portion. I was shocked & disappointment to say the least based on my customer service experience.
Found vehicle with all of the features we were looking for. Sim went over all of the features. Good pricing and financing. Even received a discount for being a military veteran. Clean car and full tank of gas we were on our way.
I was very grateful for Chris, the service manager, at Onion Creek Volkswagen. He was honest and professional, and most importantly, he ensured that my car was fixed properly. I love my Jetta! I would recommend Onion Creek Volkswagen if you are looking for a great car and great service.
Cullen was so awesome! It was my first time buying a car and completely walked into it blind! He got me such a great deal on brand new car! The service was great and answered all of my questions.
I had a great experience with Onion Creek. Cullen was up front and helpful throughout the entire process. He did his best to meet my wife and I in the middle at the price we were comfortable with. I would do business with Onion Creek again!
They employees were Awesome! Corey and Fred made the buying experience run smooth. I highly recommend Onion Creek Volkswagen. My new Tiguan was exactly what I wanted.
OCVW had my car fixed up in one day and were great at communicating tbeir progress throughout the day. They also topped off my fluids and washed my car so she was in great shape when I picked her up!
This was by far one of my worst experiences at a car dealership! Flat out they lied to me missed appointments treated me rudely didn’t call back play games about warranty’s interest rate APR all the wonderful things that come with car dealerships don’t ever go here!
I have to say I was hesitant on using an in person dealership after a recent experience with another local company. However, I couldnt have asked for anything more from Onion Creek VW and I would highly recommend at least taking the time to visit. One of the things that really drew me to be able trust this dealership was my online communications with Scott. He was attentive, the parameters I set he worked within them and didnt try to coerce me into a car that was out of the budget I set, and really made me feel like this was actually my decision with no pressure. The dealership was clean and had plenty of COVID safety protocols still in place, and (although I was 17 minutes late for my appointment) Scott was readily available to assist me. I drove the 2022 Taos and WOW. Its the perfect sized SUV for what I was looking for, had an amazing ride, and fit within my price parameters without additional hassle of adding more and more money down.Of course I liked the Taos because its cute, but in reality I felt like it was the car for me. I would absolutely recommend the dealership, and although Im bias, recommend Scott B as well. If I ever have to get a new vehicle and Im in the Austin area, this will definitely be my new car buying home.
I haven’t been a customer of OC VW in nearly 5 years and still receive marketing calls, text messages and emails (none of which I requested and have repeatedly tried to unsubscribe from) from this dealership. Be wary of providing any personal information here, they will annoy you for the years afterwords.
Very pleased with my service!! Professional and kind! Very clean!Went back for a service and also my inspection, painless, easy and had a latte while I waited!! Love this place.
Dont bring your vehicle here for service. They are disorganized, poor communication (it is up to you to call and find out status of vehicle repair) and no follow up. Brought vehicle in for oil change and warranty repair on Friday. Was told part needed to be ordered and would arrive Monday. Assigned advisor (Jorge) said if I wanted to leave vehicle over the weekend they could install part on Monday and I could avoid having to bring vehicle back. On Monday at 5PM I had not heard anything regarding repair status. Called service dept to check on (Jorge not there) and was told vehicle was ready. Arrived to pick up vehicle and there was no notation on invoice about warranty repair being completed. Turns out repair was not done and advisor on duty had no clue why. Did part not arrive or they couldnt get around to installing? Almost two weeks later and I havent heard a word back. Reading thru reviews about the service dept on their website this appears to be a common theme and I think there are competency and capability issues with regards to servicing VW vehicles as well.
Great customer service, comfortable waiting room, good WiFi signal to get work done while my car was being serviced.
Peyton did a great job! Go see him and buy a VW, you’ll thank me later.
Overall had my best experience in the automotive industry I was informed and had all my questionscasually yet diligently answered by rosemary who is an upstanding member of the Volkswagen team. I wish I could give her and the staff 10 stars :)
My husband I have always purchased VW’s and are loyal customers. We were pre-approved for vehicle financing through Capital One. We visited the Onion Creek location to look at their inventory. Dash immediately introduced himself and assessed our needs. We settled on a 2021 Tiguan SE, R-line. Our deal consisted of a trade with negative equity and a new car purchase. Once we received the payoff information, the entire process took less than a couple of hours. Dash and the staff are professional, efficient, and personable. I would recommend the Onion Creek location for your next VW purchase.
Worst ever service department just ask Kevin. He won’t help women.
