The installation work was top notch and Travis pays attention to all of the details and makes sure the system is setup just the way you want it. They did a great job setting up a home theater and very serious home sound system with about 10 different Sonos zones.My favorite thing about them is that they can do very high end work, but they use systems and components that i can understand and control without having to phone them up whenever i want to modify the system or whenever something breaks. My experience is that other high end AV people leave you totally helpless and dependent on them. I can not recommend AV Connect in Austin highly enough!

AV Connect did a wonderful job installing the TV and audio system in my home 3 years ago. I moved recently and called them again to move and install the equipment in my new home. The morning of the installation I threw them a curve ball with a change in plans that necessitated additional equipment, more cabling, etc. They responded without skipping a beat and Im now enjoying my system even more than before.

Fantastic experience. I shopped around Austin to find someone who could do a large job (home theater, entire house sound system with connection to existing alarm system and closed circuit video) but have a personal response. The first several that I interviewed only spent maybe 1/2 with me and were quick to give me a quote. However, Kurtis spend more than 2 hours listening to my ideas, walking me thru the options and graciously adapting to what I needed. His team put in the system with very little family disruption. But more importantly, he and AV Connect have been there after the sale to come back to my home and make adjustments that were needed. Because of this, I then had him come to my office to do fix some work that had been poorly done by a previous installer (whole office sound system). Once again, minimal disruption and excellent results. I then brought him back to our home when my wife wanted to add on more AV connections in other rooms. When I begin on our pool installation, I will have Kurtis and his team do the outdoor music system for us.

Nate and his crew did an awesome job in a tricky space to get my TV mounted, speakers mounted, speaker wires and some network cables run in my house. They even fixed some cross-talk on a network cable Id amateurishly installed myself! Friendly, clean, and Nate was great at walking me through the options. Definitely recommended!

I had the AV Connect guys mount a projector, route speaker wire, hang speakers and route some ethernet lines. They gave me an estimate of about 8 hours, but they finished in 4.5 hours! I had to chase them down to thank and attempt to pay them in advance of a mailed invoice. They dont know how qualified, competent and competitively priced they are. Bravo!

Recently had the AV Connect team out to relocate TV above fireplace, install Sonos surround sound system and outdoor Sonos speakers. I couldnt be more pleased with the process. They came out and walked through the job in detail and recommended that the Sonos system would be ideal for our situation. The service was scheduled quickly and the installation process went smoothly. The installation is extremely clean with no wires showing and everything worked great. The Sonos system setup was easy and getting familiar with the software interface simple. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks prior to writing the review to see how the system performed. It is great! I have been extremely impressed with the professional job that AV connect did at our home. We were looking to hire someone for a home theater installation and as is the norm nowadays requested quotes from a number of companies including AV Connect. Nate is a great ambassador for AV Connect. I would like to commend Nate for taking the time to explain to us our options for the installation. Nate was very forthcoming in letting us know the costs associated to the options we were presented with. He also took time to explain to us the differences between the various pieces of equipment. I couldnt be more impressed with Nate and our friends at AV Connect. My initial contact with them was actually in the Spring of 2015 (1 year prior to service) as I was considering installing some outdoor speakers and obtaining quotes, etc. The time wasnt right for our project at the moment but Nate was very considerate to let us know when we were ready, he and his team would be happy to honor the quote and complete our job. With this in mind, my prior experience with his diligent customer service and quick follow-up, not to mention cost-effective, creative solutions for my patio won out... it was an easy decision when we were ready. Travis is awesome to work with and he and Kurtis know their stuff. They offer a great price and have great experience and professuonalism that comes with it. I am in the process of building a new house in Steiner Ranch, called them on Friday saying I needed the whole house wired by Wednesday of the next week....they had it done by Tueasday and we are talking while house audio, home automation and structured wiring. Everything was zip tied and very organized. Travis did my parents house as well and was done perfectly. I will be a customer for life. Forget about the other guys like Modia, Best Buy or Frys.....stick with these guys.

We had a simple job request to mount our TV to the brick above our fireplace. No gaming consoles, no home theater equipment, just a TV and some wires. Travis and Nate didnt laugh at our caveman setup and didnt try to up-sell us on things we werent in the market for. What they DID do was explore solutions to our situation (a fireplace with no flue, for instance) that we were happy with. They settled for nothing less than perfect, and Nate even spent time releveling the TV so it looked right above our not-so-level mantle.
