Working with Gallant was neither productive nor pleasant. We were ultimately dissatisfied with the quality and quantity of deliverables. Some of this disconnect was driven by our internal process around their creative output. In our opinion, they did not fully understand our business or industry—the design and content they presented reflected little effort to learn more as well as a lack of creativity to adapt to our business. We feel that to get them to a level of understanding of our business; we would have to commit significant internal resources. This made projects untenable from a cost-benefit standpoint.Further, we felt the relationship was not fully transparent. When discussion arose about our dissatisfaction, it seemed that we transformed from a client to an adversary. All communication from Gallant from that point forward was geared to winning an argument, not understanding our perspective. We do not recommend working with them.

Chris is dishonest, manipulative and a snake. He presents his firm to be bigger than it actually is. On a client visit to the office, I once saw him try to pass off an intern as a full-time employee and someone who worked for a different company in the co-working space as a Gallant employee. Avoid Chris and Gallant Branding at all cost. He is not to be trusted.UPDATE:True to form, Chris has had his wife (co-founder of Yellow Bird Editors) write a glowing review for Gallant without disclosing the relationship. It shouldn’t come as a surprise as Gallant was created during his paternity leave from another agency. I guess you could say Gallant has dishonesty and lies built into its DNA. It seems as if Chris holds others to a high moral standard while not living up to that standard himself.

Gallant’s redesign of our business logo, visual ID, and website was a game-changer for us. Ever since the new website launched, we’ve had literally more than a dozen customers compliment the design and easy-to-use interface. Since our website is the equivalent to our “storefront” for prospective customers, this is a huge deal for us.
