I found this place years ago when I had to be on state insurance. I was grateful to be able to get my teeth fixed while being broke and they did a very good job on my fillings. The dentists and hygienists are very cold and don’t give you the time of day but they did the job.Why the 1 Star? It isn’t the nicest place and I have options as to where I can get treated. I scheduled an exam and cleaning, after the exam they quoted my cleaning at $800 out of pocket regardless of my dental insurance. Said I had to get a special cleaning that no insurance will cover.I found a new dentist and I’m telling you go elsewhere, I was treated like family and they balked at the estimate I told them. They had to do a hard clean but my insurance covered the majority of it and finally my teeth are wonderful again!Sad that people who are in charge of your health try to scam you. Only good thing about that place was the receptionist Peggy, what a gem.

Scheduled an appointment at this location nearly 2 weeks ago and gave them my insurance information. When I arrived for the appointment, they hadnt verified my insurance and hadnt contacted me about verification. Then when I give the receptionist my information again, as well as the number to call for delta dental, she claims the number is for a grocery service. I leave, upset that the location was so unprofessional as to not verify my insurance, I honestly feel like this is a scam to get people to pay out of pocket and have their insurance reimburse them. Once I get home I try the number myself to find that it wasnt a grocery service as the receptionist claimed but was indeed delta dental, she mess up the number and ruined my morning. I go back to complain and they wont even admit their mistakes, saying they were going off of information given, which only makes things worse as they werent even willing to provide decent customer service and admit their receptionist called the wrong number but instead tried to blame it on me, the receptionist at one point tried to say that I didnt really have insurance. Will never go to a perfect teeth again.Edit: just got off the phone with my insurance, delta dental, and they confirmed that the information on my insurance card was correct. Since this perfect teeth was so adamant about me not having insurance even after having been given correct information, I can only conclude that this is a scam they tried to pull on me. They tried to swindle me after I told them point blank I wouldnt pay for anything out of pocket. These people are ripoff artists, and I filed an official complaint against them with my insurance company, hopefully delta dental will no longer support/suggest this location.P.s. the 4 star review average that this location has is fake, they give coupons to people who leave good reviews but that doesnt make their services good just means they have to pay for good reviews.

Today I went in to see Dr.Kaul, to look at my left top tooth which was giving me lots of pain during the whole weekend. Anyhow, after an Exray was looked at the Doctor then came in to look at the tooth along with the other teeth in my mouth. The end result was extraction of that tooth which was not what a wanted to hear. However, just love the honesty of the Doctor, along with his staff of workers by his side to make my experience a very pleasant one at Perfect Teeth. If, you are looking for a great Dentist along with a caring staff please visit his office I highly recommend this Doctor along with his kind staff.

I absolutely Love these guys. Every time I go in there everything’s organized, clean, kind. All the Covid Rules are being followed. I’ve had three procedures done. All with very little pain and great results.

Howard is one of the finest dental hygentists Ive ever had, and he is the sole reason why I go to this location. The building, and their suite, is very dumpy and off setting. This location also has a hard time keeping their staff. I go in 3 times a year for periodontal maintenence and this time around, Howard had to be his own dental assistant - since his last one just stopped coming.Perfect Teeth had a newly remodeled location on Leetsdale that they closed during the pandemic and moved that practice to this dump...???

Dont go to this place!!!The problems started from the beginning when I was getting x-rays, which was an extremely painful progress that Ive never experienced at previous dentists. I had a fairly normal cleaning, but when the dentist saw me I was told 4 of my teeth were in terrible shape and I needed IMMEDIATE work. I was scared and it was a new doctor that I saw right before switching insurance, so I had no choice but to trust his opinion. I was not told details about the work. It was my first time getting a crown and I had NO IDEA the pain that was coming and that I would NEED A SECOND VISIT. I explicitly said I did NOT want to come back, I just wanted a cleaning. I didnt know I would need a second visit until AFTER MY TOOTH WAS ALREADY DESTROYED. I also had just had sinus surgery a month before and had trouble breathing through my nose, and when I couldnt relax or breath I was told to stop worrying and stop trying to breath though my mouth. I was terrified that I wouldnt be able to breathe and felt no sympathy except from the hygienist. At my next dentist visit with a different dentist, I had 2 people tell me the work was unnecessary based on the other 3 untouched teeth.I was then promised the exhorborant amount quoted to me would be the entire amount. Guess what? It wasnt. 9 months later I got another bill, and I was told it might be because it was out of network. My dental insurance SPECIFICALLY said to use this clinic.Im traumatized, Im mad I got a bill 9 months later, and I wish I never came here. If you are afraid of dentists and want to avoid unnecessary work, dont come here.The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is that no one was rude to me and the work they did was adequate quality.

Do not go here to use your FSP (Flex) - they told me I had gingivitis, gave me the price which was much lower due to insurance (they made a mistake and got the pre-qualification from the insurance and charged me) I paid my way went home and soon got a letter for my insurance company about how they (perfect teeth) did not get approval from the insurance company fully before doing the procedure. Turns out the insurance company charged them for not doing x-rays (proof I needed the procedure). Months later I received the bill from this office under the name Mississippi dental group trying to charge me. Needless to say they will not get paid and they will never get my business again.

Dr. Kahl has expertly provided me with an upper denture and lower bridge. My mouth is more comfortable than it’s been for years. He took the time to discuss all options with me and we entered into a work plan with a complete understanding of what would be completed. The total staff has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend.

DISGUSTING! They cut my Grandmothers gums open with no anesthesia! Didnt ask if she wanted anything to numb the pain either. The worst part is they held her down in the chair because she was moving!! Its like a horror movie!! Ive been here before and they werent great, (always making you wait and canceling on you) but this time it was literal torture. I feel horrible I took her to this dentist. Never come here for the love of god

Wow!! I must say that Dr. Kaul did a WONDERFUL job. My root canal was done with such expertise and the crown fit better than my regular tooth! Hes funny, caring, informative and very professional. I highly recommend him..

This dentist is horrible he is rude I didnt wanna go in there for my appointment after my wife was there cause of how rude he was also he didnt feel necessary when my wifes wisdom tooth was infected to give her an antibiotic he is horrible

From the very beginning he will explain the options you have so that you can understand what is about to happen. He is a straight shooter, and is very confident, which is very important to me. Howard their dental hygienists is the worst! I had the most embarrassing situation in the front waiting room yesterday and felt so belittled by his comments about my hygiene in front of the receptionist and other customers. I assumed my hygiene health was a private matter. I explained to him that I could not afford the cleaning plan he was proposing and that Id like to request a debridement for now because Im over due for a cleaning. Howard replies if you want to clean your teeth then go home and brush them I then explain that I cant afford the treatment plan he is proposing. Howard replies well you cant afford healthy teethI have other family members who have had similar experiences with Howard. We will never go back to any location he works at. To top it off he wasn’t wearing a mask and hanging out behind the receptionist which puts other people at risk of spreading COVID. I can only imagine what happens when customers aren’t around if they are practicing safety regulations.To Molly M the owner’s so called sincere apologetic reply below....Maybe you should read my review a little more carefully. To clarify, I did not have a problem with your presented treatment. I just wasn’t financially ready to move forward with it. Saw three dentists and dalled 2 more. Nobody would help me, until I found Perfect Teeth. The doctor and staff were wonderful; I believe I may finally get my mouth fixed.

Have been a patient here for about 5 years having gotten at least 5 crowns done. Was there in December to get the last two done and experienced extreme pain within 3 days of getting the temporaries on. Figured it was just needing time to heal but complained of the extreme pain when getting the permanent crowns done to which the dentist replied that it could be six months for them to calm down. Actually had to get numbed up to have them put on which I’ve never had to do before. Went back in January for cleaning and again complained of the pain and again was told to wait it out even though he had observed my x-rays. It’s now April and my head felt like it was gonna explode. Went to get a second opinion and the dentist instantly recognized an abscess and a root that needed to come out as well. Thankfully, the new dentist got me out of pain instantly. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone! Save yourself the time, pain and money and go someplace else.

The whole staff is wonderful! I dont like going to the dentist, but everyone at Perfect Teeth makes it a welcoming experience. Gina, at the front desk is so kind and even knows me by name! I love getting work done there! Olya, the dental hygienist does a terrific job and you can tell she is passionate about her job and wants to do it well. Love how she educates me on my teeth. I truly enjoy every experience I have at Perfect Teeth. Wouldnt go to a different location.

I have been going to Perfect Teeth Mississippi Dental for over 20 years and I am happy to say that I will continue to be a patient of theirs. They recently brought on a new dentist, Dr. Kari Miller, who I must say is very talented and obviously was well trained. She did a great job on putting in a new crown. Painless! I highly recommend her. And BTW, the rest of the staff is great!

Enough is enough! All this dentist and office wants to do is find excuses to do more work on your teeth to charge the insurance company and you every penny they can. No more! We are going elsewhere! They also lied about some previous treatment. This dentist and hygenist will do everything and anything to charge you more money. I suggest you find another dental office as we are after many years here.

Horrible. Went to get a crown replaced that they did less than two years ago. Was told initially a procedure might be required, but that he would not know until the exam. At the time of the exam, the dentist never spoke to me, other than to tell me he was going to give me a shot to numb my mouth. Standard so I thought nothing of it. Then he came in and started work. Again, never telling me what he was doing or even asking if I wanted the work done. When I left was told I owed them $600, which I NEVER agreed to, nor was I ever told the so called crown lengthening was being done. Horrible. Will NEVER go back and have steered several other people away from there.

I was supposed to get a crown replacement. When I came, the dentist wanted to also put crowns on my two front teeth which I wouldn’t allow. He was furious. He yelled at a couple who seemed just to be observers to explain it to me. I think he is from a country where women are just supposed to sit down and shut up. I complained to Cigna and am searching for a new dentist. I have to go back there and get my ex rays. Anticipate another tongue lashing!

My visit was very pleasant. All personnel are friendly and helpful. My hygienist was very thorough and very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.The Mississippi Perfect Teeth facility has been my dentist for many years and they have always taken good care of me.

Had three crows and a root canal done by Dr . Kaul . I wasn’t able to get numb previously and my crown experience for Ill fitted crowd was a nightmare . Dr. Kaul was able to get me numb and my crows have never felt better . Dr. Kaul also did a cosmetic fixture for my front two teeth where I have a gap and did an excellent job . I would recommend and have changed dental offices .

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. All of the staff members were very professional and very nice. They did a great job with my teeth and I couldnt be happier. They are the best!

Ive never laughed my way through back-to-back dental appointments before. The staff was courteous and helpful, and very concerned about my comfort throughout my visits. The doctor took time to show me my x-rays and pictures to explain what needs to be done and why. He also ranked the work in order of need, and helped establish a time frame to help work with my budget. The staff took the time to ask about my husband who was in for work over a month ago, and showed they actually remember him. They all seem to genuinely enjoy their work and care about their patients.

I get my teeth cleaned regularly at another perfect teeth and have never had any issues. When I came here I got the distinct impression that they were just trying to take my money. They tried to get me to do over $100 in “cleaning” beyond my regular care. When I declined and said I only wanted what was covered by my insurance they charged me $30 above my insurance anyways for “Oral Care Instruction” they did not give me ANY instruction except telling me to floss more. This particular location is going to rip you off and tell you you need care you do not need. DO NOT GO HERE

The dental hygienist and dentist were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful when they explained what was going on. I would recommend for anyone because I was in good hands.

My daughter and I have been with Perfect Teeth for at least 10 years and there has been multiple switches in dentists, but more disturbing has been the increasing trend of up selling. Both my daughter and I were in on 2 separate days for teeth cleaning. Both of us were told by the same dental hygienist that because of gum disease she couldnt do the cleaning, but that we needed expensive gum treatment.Also told would need to numb my mouth the do the cleaning. Never had my mouth numbed for cleaning. When she was measuring my gums she would say 5 no, lets make it a 6 Every time some new thing to charge extra for. Front staff is very friendly and helpful, too bad the dental staff is not.

I found this Perfect Teeth location because no other local dentist would take my insurance. I am so glad I came here. Ms. Ileena, my hygienist, is one of the best in the industry. She is thoughtful, precise, intelligent, kind, and professional. She worked with the wonderful staff (amazing billing specialist and office manager, as well) to design a treatment plan that works with my insurance, my schedule, my finances, and is successfully treating my periodontal disease. Ill never leave this office. No waits, no shame, no feeling like a number. For the first time in my life, I feel like dental care is manageable.

I came to this office as a new patient. Received my first appointment within a week. All work from start to finish took 2 months. I couldnt believe it. The service was impressive. Office visits reminded me of visits with friends. Professionalism plus high quality people. This is what differentiates a regular worker from this office.

Yesterday, I took today off from work so I could take my father to an 11:00 appointment. I found out after I got home that they called him and said they were rescheduling his appointment to 2:00. They did not ask.Today, we arrived 15 minutes early to find the door locked, the lights out and a “We’ll return at 9:00” sign in the window. I called and no one answered.We got home and I called the number on their website. They answered and said they were at lunch until 2:00, and I needed to reschedule.This is not good customer service, especially if they expect you to show up early for appointments.

I scheduled an appointment with this group last year. A friend gave a great recommendation for them. I went to what I thought was my scheduled appointment. I was never scheduled. I was bounced from one office to another while they tried to figure out what happened. One of the dentists finally squeezed me in. He was very short with me. Made me feel like an idiot. I did not receive a proper dental exam. Gave me a referral to one their specialists. Clear across town. I wasted hours of sick leave for nothing. I will never go back.

I was in pretty bad shape when I first came to this office, but no one here has ever talked down to me or belittled me the way other places have.The staff is always kind and welcoming, from reception, to hygiene, to doctors office. I have gone here for years with no problem. But recently the billing has been a nightmare. Therefore I switched dentist.

Everyone has always been so kind and helpful at this office. I have been going here maybe 13 years and have never had any big problems. They are all very comforting even for my kids.

The dentist was very competent and worked with me to make a plan for addressing everything that we needed to do to keep my teeth healthy. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This last Tuesday I dreaded going to the dentist, but everyone at the Perfect Teeth on Mississippi put me at ease. Gina, who is at the front desk, greeted me with a smile which I needed. I cant say enough about .Missy and Sarah who both assist Dr. Kaul at different times. They are so caring and compassionate. Dr. Kaul is my dentist and I wouldnt go to anyone else. He explains everything and is very gentle. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a dentist.

There has been a lot of turnover of staff over the last several years, but lately Ive felt comfortable knowing that the personnel Ive come to respect and trust will be there when I arrive. More than that, I know Im getting dental care that is exceptional. The staff are obviously passionate about their jobs and about providing the best comprehensive care to patients. Brianna is an awesome hygienist! One of the best experiences I have had at the dentist and I actually left really happy. Which I cant say happens all too often after having someone scrape your teeth. Very friendly staff. Ive been going to this office for three years now, and have never had a bad experience. All procedures are explained thoroughly, as well as the billing. I highly recommend!

First I signed a paper with all the charges I would have to pay for my treatments. Then when I check out I owe another 60 dollars from the first procedure not the second one I was there for. I feel like they are milking me for more money. The dentist was an hour late and asked ME what I was there for. Then they didn’t put the topical numbing on my gums. I asked for it and the Dentist put it in then immediately went to injection the numbing medication. Then says “This is going to hurt.” Yeah because you didn’t let the topical numbing sit for 10 minutes! Never going back and will be reporting this to the corporate office.

Mississippi Dental/Perfect Teeth has been my dental care provider for over 20 years. In that time there have been many personnel changes, but the current staff is absolutely top notch. Im 71 and can honestly say Dr. Ankur Kaul is the best dentist Ive ever had. A car collision when I was 16 necessitated oral surgery and rendered my mouth forever challenging for dentists. Ive needed crowns, root canals, new partials, and gum therapy. Dr. Kaul repeatedly distinguishes himself with proficiency, diligence, and professionalism -- happy to explain, educate, accommodate, and get every detail just right. A consummate gentleman, his dedication to giving patients what they need and want is outstanding. Olya Vaughn, dental hygienist, also merits high praise for being adept and conscientious in her work, and ultra-attentive and loyal to her patients. Gina Jones at the front desk is exceptional as the offices welcoming ambassador and its billing, scheduling, and dental insurance expert. Other staff members are great assets, too -- Alex, Missy, Nikki, and the others are supportive team players and very skilled at what they do. Hats off to Mississippi Dental for assembling an exemplary dental care team!

Went in with an infected tooth. Dr. Miller told me it didnt seem infected, but here is some ibuprofen. Went back in the next day with a massively swollen face, they gave me a low dose antibiotic which didnt fix the problem after 10 days. My appt at their specialty center is still a week away, so I went back in to consult after failing to receive a call back from leaving a message. They proceeded to tell me it might not be related to my tooth and I should probably go to an urgent care. When I consulted another dentist he told me they had given me the wrong antibiotic in the first place and prescribed me a new one. I cant speak for other centers but I will never go to this perfect teeth again.

I have been going to this location for over 20 years and there have been changes for the better throughout the years. Dr Kaul, Missy, Olya, front office staff, office mgr, and other team members have all been great. Dr Kaul and his team are passionate about their jobs. Even though I live an hour and half away, this is still my dental office of choice.

Bad experience! I went there for a dental cleaning without my mom, and they had me sign to have extra unnecessary things done! The quality of dentist are bad and speak bad english! If you’re still on your parents insurance make sure your parents go with you because they will make you think you need something done, when in reality you don’t!

Went to this dentist to get seen and got laughed at by the dentist when he discussed all the work I needed done. Humiliating and unprofessional. Makes you feel really bad about yourself. And doesnt help your self esteem, no encouragement. Just attitude about the work that has to be done and giggles from the dentist who doesnt take your issue seriously. The dental assistant lady was phenomenal and sweet but the dentist was horrible. I had two meetings when he seen me and he laughed at my situation in both of them. So I went to CozyDental where I get my work done with painfree professionalism, encouragement, and understanding. So if you have a lot of work that has to get done dont come here and get treated badly. Just go to CozyDental.

The staff discussing patients negatively while I sat in the waiting room within​ earshot was a huge turnoff. Is this practice always this tacky? Are they discussing me this way when I walk out? The care I received was decent, but my waiting room experience was deplorable

The reviews are not accurate, they only ask reviews from people they think had a good visit so dont believe the rating.... Heard some of the office people talking bad about pt bc they dont wanna get services. They tried pushing services on me too and I went and got another opinion from 2 other offices and didnt need what Perfect teeth doctors where trying to get me to do.Turn over is high and the office manager Kate is a joke. The office is old, crusty, and dusty and they only want your money....and you should ask how long the doctor/hygienist has had their license because they hire new grads with little experience. Years in school dont count.
