I contacted Craters and Freighters for information about shipping items from my small business start up. Manager Chad got back with me immediately, answered my questions, and was incredibly helpful. Good customer service like that is a rare commodity these days. Thank you!

Amazing service and fast! These guys were professional from the first call to the last email. I picked them at random based on there reviews. I shipped a family heirloom to a museum. It arrived quickly and with no damage. I would highly recommend this company!

We cant say enough good things about this Craters location! We started our company five years ago with no way to ship and package. Craters and Freighters is one of the main reasons our business has been so successful. They have become like family to us. We still use them to this day five years later and have never had a bad experience. Their packaging is the best you can find. They are people of their word and take care of our customers so we dont have to. We have a great team with them and are so thankful we found Scott when we did! Highly highly recommend

We have been working with Scott and Chad for 5 years and we have never had a bad experience. Without their packaging and freight expertise our business would not be as successful as it is today. Scott and Chad are very easy to work with and they always have our best interest in mind. They have direct contact with our customers, and they treat them as if they are their own customers. Any issues that we have had with freight companies, they are on the phone as quick as possible to remediate the situation. Craters of Denver does a top notch job!

Horrible experience. The only reason that Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that we eventually did receive our items.Scheduled for pick up July 9th. We asked for an approximate date they would be delivered to Santa Rosa. We were told it should be in my shop for a couple days before it gets on the road. Once that happens Ill have tracking information. July 15, still no tracking number. Finally returned email (July17) stating should have tracking today!. July 20th, email from Chad, stating that they are back logged and hasnt left the terminal. Should have a strong ETA. July 25th after multiple attempts to call Chad with no return calls and no return emails. He finally got back to us with a tracking number. There was no further follow up from Chad at C&F and we were left to call the shipping companies involved, to try to locate our shipment. It finally arrived on August 1st. Miraculously despite the broken shipping boxes, everything was intact. Well... except for a broken leg on a desk and a chair that didnt belong to us and ended up on one of our pallets somehow. They apologized and said, Well this shipment has certainly been a nightmare huh.. They said they would make it right. No surprise, we have not heard back from them since. The frustration was not necessarily the amount of time, I understand scheduling snafus, but the lack of customer service and unresponsiveness regarding the whereabouts of our very special items. I was even told that they had lost one of our pallets at one point, but had found it. (All quotes are directly from emails)

Our fine art business has worked with Chad, Scott and Matt for years and they have always pulled through for us whether its a large monumental sculpture that needs to be packed in a container for oceangoing freight or a delicate wood carving that needs a bombproof crate. For airfreight to Europe I find they are unbeatable on price and it always gets there safely.

These guy are top notch all around in regards to professionalism and going that extra mile. Craters builds all of our crates for our diesel engine builds and ensures that our shipments get there all in one piece. The crates have special interior compartments to keep ancillary parts from banging into the engine assemblies which has saved us a ton of headache in damaged inventory and freight claims. The whole crew of guys have committed to helping our business grow and have accommodated some outside of the norm requests. They have personally staged our engines for custom photo shoots, painted our crates with our logo and just recently went above and beyond when we had an issue with hundreds of unmarked bolts and parts that arrived. Our supplier sent us hundreds of unmarked parts that go with our engines. We were completely in the dark about what to do and these parts. The components had to be matched up 100% correctly in order for the engines to run. Chad, Jimmy and Scott personally helped us match up hundreds of part numbers of bolts, screws, washers, flywheels, housings, starters and alternators. They got on their hands and knees to helped us count and match up the correct parts before we shipped the engines. One by one we got it right. I cant say enough what these guy do for Big Bear Engine Company as well as our parent company Capital Reman. Thanks again fellas!

I just want to say, these guys are awesome!!! I worked with Chad & he was very responsive. When the guys showed up to move my grandfather clock, they were very professional & kind. They had the crate ready with all the padding. They took great care of my clock, they wrapped it in foam, carried it out, placed it in the crate, packed more foam around it & sealed it up. Its a huge clock & very old. These guys took amazing care of it. I highly recommend this company! Thank you, Chad, for all your help & getting this done for me.

We worked with Matt Simpson to have our servers shipped from Denver to Dallas. Matt was very quick to respond and worked well with our data center team to coordinate packing and shipping our equipment. Servers arrived quickly and very well packaged (especially for the price!). We had a very positive experience and would recommend this company!

We had a piano picked up nearly a month ago to ship to Las Vegas and found out today it is still in Denver!!! So we know that Craters and Freighters contracted the actual shipment out. If it hasnt shipped yet, after being paid in full, why??? The company is call Estes. Why contract with a useless shipper who just sit and most likely waits for a truck to be filled up?? Dont give me the excuse of the holidays! Everyone knows that the trucking industry never stops!
