We had a water main rupture this Sunday. we called their emergency line and their response was to call back during regular hours. That isnt cool by a long shot.Sooooo... The fire alarm was going off and I called them during business hours this time. They proceeded to put me on hold before I could even talk to a person and then hung up on me after 15 minutes.You guys are the worst.

My husband and I purchased a condo and had a string of bad luck right away because our electricity in the unit kept shutting off every couple of hours. We had no idea when we originally purchased the condo. We worked with a couple of licensed electricians who stated that the whole baseboard had to be replaced within the whole unit, meaning it would be a lot of work.We worked with Dave Conforti throughout the whole process and he was great in ensuring that our needs were met! He was prompt in answering our questions and letting us know whenever he received an update from the condo association / electrical company / electrician.

Recently my husband and I bought a home in Timber Trails. We are first time home buyers and very new to how associations work. Also, in January we welcomed our 3rd child so unfortunately some things slipped through the cracks and one of those things was paying our association dues. When I emailed the association to explain our situation and ask if they would be willing to waive the late fee they got back to me within a couple hours to let me know the fee was waived. So happy with the fast and polite service!

My complex has used realmanage for about a year now. I couldnt be any happier with the overall service that weve gotten from our property manager Dave Conforti. I couldnt recommend them enough. Theres always some growing pains when you switch to a new company but the transition was exceptionally easy. This is by far the best management company that Ive dealt with in my three years as a board president..

Baum Property operates the community I live in and has been super helpful. I had to apply to install a satellite dish, and Loree helped me out big time. She informed me when I first submitted my request that there were issues that wouldnt be approved. Instead of jumping through hoops she got me straightened out straight away and it went smoothly.

I attended a HOA event and Mike Baum was speaking. I was impressed by his easy to understand plain speak. I asked their firm to bid on our HOA management contract. They were not the cheapest but were able to explain the added value they brought to the table. So after 11 years with the same HOA we voted as a board and made the switch. We wondered why we did not do it sooner. The professionalism, response to questions and fresh ideas was amazing. Board members and home owners noticed the difference and commented in a positive way. We as a board appreciated being able to call the office and have a real person answer the phone. If the person I was trying to contact was on the phone we were called back within a short amount of time. RealManage was also able to save our HOA money on services we had been contracting for years.When we needed changes to landscaping or entrance way repair RealManage was able to respond with three bidders and meetings within a couple of days at our convenience.We tried them out on a one year engagement and then signed a three year contract.

This post was edited as apparently my previously posted issue was the Always Home Real Estate Services. I did get good service from Katrina with Baum Property Management but there were many other times I requested service or followup and was basically ghosted.Often, they wouldnt respond to any emails or calls. Not sure what they did, really. We had an issue with mold in the storage unit for months before it got resolved and Im pretty sure a different property management fixed it.Also the ventilation in my condo unit was and still is bad and there were lights that would be out the the hallway for weeks on end.Not the worst property managers but I shouldnt have to call and email for over a week for an issue to get addressed.

Im leaving this review more for baum property (not sure if its the same people still). Baum property is beyond bad, its more like fascist company. Made 110 unit building to pay $14k each for new balcony railing, which was never discussed with owners. I am sure there was some money floating under the table. They dont respond to emails or phone calls. Dave who is the head of this branch at least, just ignores everyone at the meetings...real pro (sarcasm).

Courtney Felix is the property manager of the townhouse community into which I recently moved in Naperville, IL She has been a delight to work with--professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally quick with providing answers. (I have a lot of questions that need answering as I renovate my townhouse.) She provides answers, documents, and board of directors decisions within days, not weeks or months. That is quite refreshing, and I applaud RMA for having such a pro on board.

Reading through the several reviews posted, it sounds encouraging that residents seem to be receiving improved service as a result of the RealManage acquisition of Baum Property Management. I am hoping someone from the new organization reaches out to me so I can share/resolve the issue that I have been trying, for the last 4 years to address. To that point, I left a message this morning with the Division President, Daneen, in hopes that she can intercede and swiftly bring resolution. Attached is a picture of the seepage that occurs in my crawl space. For the four years I have resided here, this occurs every time it rains. For four years, Baum sent guys out that did nothing but add layers of caulk underneath my front door. This year, under RealManage, additional repairmen have come out. They patched concrete, removed and added siding, caulked above my front door and still, no resolution. Yesterday I called the office and was directed to a Tom because my normal Agent, David was on vacation. Tom never called back so I called him this morning and he answered (Rarely happens - Baum mastered the art of sending your call(s) to voicemail and never responding). He admitted he had not taken time to review my message so I brought him up to speed on my issues. He had nothing to offer in terms of resolution. I asked if they should send a waterproofing expert since we have tried several other options, to no avail. His response: your free to have someone like that come out but we would not pay for that. Incredible response but typical of the Baum Team. At that point, I asked for Deneens contact information and after 2 minutes of stumbling and fumbling, he hung up on me. To his credit, he called me back about 15 minutes later and claimed he accidentally disconnected me. By then, I had already left a voicemail for Deneen.

So rude!!!!!!! I contacted them early this year for a birthday party for July, the lady in charge told me I couldnt not book more than 3 months in advance. However I showed up the clubhouse when it was time during open hours with my filled out reservation request and contract more than 6 times. I also called and left messages no one responded so finally I sent an email and she informed me they were completely booked for July. Now thats not possible or fair I did everything I was told to do and did not receive help. No problem will take my money and party to a facility that is willing to help. I have never been so upset in my life.

They say a persons character is not measured by the lack of mistakes, but in how they address mistakes. By that measure - David Conforti of Real Manage is TOP NOTCH.I reported an issue I suspected was HOAs responsibility. David responded swiftly to get the facts, had the appropriate vendor visit within a day to discuss the matter and investigated promptly. Later received evidence pointed to a party outside the HOAs realm.During the entire process, David and the vendor handled my complaint with concern and respect - even when my tone might have made a less-than-customer-focused person defensive. Despite having to hear the HOA couldnt help, David did it right! Gotta hand it to them - KUDOS!

So far my experience with this transition is less than spectacular. Ive emailed them about receiving a bill from another HOA and no response. Almost no communication about website and form changes or the fact that I have to create another account on some third party website to access HOA bylaws which used to be easy to find.The only communication Ive received from them was a coupon book to pay HOA fee.Lakewood CreekMontgomery IL

Id leave zero stars if possible. They send multiple fines for same issue, all mailed on same day. All for an issue that should have been a warning. State they will remove the charge, but 6 months later still fighting it. Randomly get charged a Legal charge out of the blue. Disgusting abuse of power and just plain money hungry.

As president of the Heatherstone H.O.A. I cannot express how much I appreciate Baum Property Management, especially David Worley. We contracted with them to manage our association three years ago and now the association runs like clockwork. David has made my job effortless. I love working with him and for the first time ever the entire board has agreed to stay on for another term. We literally work on association business less than two hours a month. Prior to Baum Property Management it was about two hours a week. David, you truly are the best!
