For those of you looking for barber shop in The Aurora area there are other options as someone who usually cuts their own hair to save money, I don’t come here all that often so if you’re just a “walk-in” The barbers that do the walkins clearly aren’t as talented as the other barbers that’s your first mistake, Don’t get me wrong customer service is always fine I feel welcome when I go there but none of that matters if your hairline gets pushed back….I will not be returning

I have been getting my hair cut at His & Hers for a few years now off and on. I travel often for work so I am back and forth. Everyrime I come in, I am greeted as if I never left. These guys are awesome, all of them treat you like you are family and everyone who has cut my hair through the years does a good job and takes their time. I highly recommend this place for men and women, great spot to get a proper hair cut and make new friends.

My son called a day before to make an appointment, he was told to just walk in at 9 am for a haircut. We where there and no one attended to my son. We where there till 10 am and decided to leave, to my greatest surprise no one cared to apologize or say something to us. Very, very poor and unprofessional.

Took my 3 year old here and they were amazing. Brandon was AMAZING with my kiddo who had never done well with a haircut with clippers. He was patient and engaging. I think I found an amazing barber for my son.

I was desperate to get my hair done so I washed and blow dry before heading to the hair salon to minimize the visit so, I went to His & Hers at SL I asked the guy, who greeted me at the front entrance, may be waiting for desperate customer like me I guess 😂 I asked if any one is available to take walk-in for style, this guy said I can help you. I thought he was a professional hair dresser so sat dawn in his chair. I guess he never used flatiron or heat protection .OMG 😱😱I was freaking out for the entire 45 min (usually takes me that time from wash, blow dry and style)By the time I was done I was disappointed and upset my hair looks the same style before I spend my $50 and 45 min I will never get back.. I don’t know what kind of flatiron he used NO Style at all.. anyways I had terrible experience .. I will never go back that place ever again . I heard the barbers are doing good job but for female hair stylist, it was a joke..,I had horrible experience maybe I was the lucky one end up with rookie hair stylist.Don’t know .

Not gonna lie, most of them know how to cut hair great. My first time the guy did it pretty well but I didnt remember the name. He gave me his card too but I lost it. I then went a second time but luck wasnt on my side and got a guy that told me he only had three years of experience!!! Overall a good place, just ask for someone you know is good at it.

They give my son great haircuts. My only annoyance with this place is they only take cash but never have change... so bring small bills otherwise you’ll be forced to leave a ridiculous tip or nothing at all.

My husband and I walked in and were taken immediately by Arnold. We are from Chicago have been here since 2014. This is the first time someone has cut my husbands hair properly since we moved here!!! We trusted him to do his thing and he killed it. Arnold also cut about 5 inches of my hair and shaped it into a super cute blunt bob. Very friendly, easy to talk to, all the staff there was so welcoming and kind. Planning to bring our 3 yr old to see him next! Highly recommend giving this place a try to see for yourself.

Great place for a true barber shop cut!

I used to get my hair cut here every month from when it was in middle school until the day I graduated from college. I loved this barber shop and the people too. But things have changed here, the barbers are not for you and are (sad to say) two faced. The barbers here are now charging me $40 per hair cut even though the sign on the wall says $25 a cut and Ive been getting the same cut since high school. I will unfortunately never spend my money here again. Ask for a price before you sit in the chair, thats my advice. Dont get played like I did.

Walked in with hopes of a short wait and a good cut. My expectations were clearly too low. I was seated immediately and well taken care of. Great vibe and atmosphere. Cut was far better than I had hoped for and the price was more than reasonable. Im frugal, but I might start making the trip from Westminster to Aurora going forward.Ask for Taylor next time youre in!

I had met Brandon a few years ago at another facility and when he went to His & Hers I gladly followed him. Not every day that you find a great barber and when I do I stick with him. The facility thought further away for me personally, is conveniently located off the highway and easily accessible by a number of other routes. The place is very clean and well kept and there is a huge tv if you ever find yourself waiting. Obviously that those that work here care about the place, their craft and their customers.

Even though the sign on the door says Walk-ins Welcome, you are never sure, so I called to make an appointment. The lady was very helpful, let me know they had openings and to come on in, they would take good care of me. I went in and saw T, he trimmed up my pixie perfectly!

I didnt even know this place existed in Southlands. What a surprise! I took my daughters here to get their hair done in anticipation for the first day of school and was really impressed. It has your neighborhood barber shop feel, a barber shop on one side and a beauty salon on the other (hence the name) it was very welcoming, was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The place was packed, so I would like to safely assume that they are doing good business. The clientele was diverse and was a great environment. Its great to see a multicultural barber shop/salon in this area, it is a great reflection of the neighborhood. We will definitely be back.

My trip into His & Hers Barbershop left me wondering whether or not the man cutting my hair actually knows what he is doing. Stacy the barber is garbage and should choose a different career path. This man gave me a haircut that led to me questioning his ability and the ability of the rest of the barbers. His first mistake was he was not interactive with the customer. The dude didnt even bother to ask my name or say whats up. Although the rest of barbers are great in their profession, Stacy takes away from their ability. When I walked in and saw that he was the only one available I was devastated. But I thought Id give him a chance. BAD MISTAKE. Youd think he would be good but no. If youre black and looking for a good haircut please do not go to this barbershop. STACY IS THE WORST BARBER. If you pay with card you can just swipe through the fat roles on his neck and never come back.

Always happy with the service I receive at the shop. I have utilized the services of Sam, Josh and Chris. All are amazing Barbers who always work to make sure you are happy with the cut or services. This is a typical barber shop with the first come first served basis. They do take cards or have an ATM in the location if there are issues with their card reader. I have and will continue to utilize this shop.

35.00 for a buzzcut. Haircut was overall good. Barber missed hairs behind left ear we had to fix when we got home. Barber was socializing with girls and watching videos often pausing the haircut for extended periods. Or discussing his parole and newest charges. He would always apologize when hed start up again but would have rather just had his attention from the start The shop was not well maintained given placement of shop in Southlands area.

I have taken my son here a few times to have his hair cut by Shane & we have been very happy with the cut every time. Shane is polite, professional & gives my son the exact design he asks for. We drive 40 minutes to see Shane & its very well worth it!

Shout out to Shane one of the barbers at His and Hers Barbershop.Now Shane, he knows how to cut hair and gives a good attitude while doing it! All of the barbers are great, they can cut hair the right way and from all of the people I heard go there say that they really enjoy the service and also the atmosphere they give to the customers plus, of course the fresh cuts they give as well. At first I didnt know there was a barbershop in Aurora that could cut hair like that. It was really cool how I see how fast they do it and how good it looks afterwards! If I needed a fresh cut with authentic work instead of going to those other barbers they have around Colorado, I would definitely choose His and Hers Barbershop.

My 9 year old daughter went in for an A-line bob on the Hers side and ended up with just a bob.It was not what I wanted but my daughter said she liked it the way it was so I didn’t have it fixed.I’m disappointed it cost $35 instead of $15 because it was considered a specialty cut.

Horrible. LB cut my hair and destroyed it. Doesn’t look even from side to side. Cut parts of my hair I didn’t ask for and ruined it. I have been in twice now the first time was fantastic, probably the but cut I’ve ever gotten but I can’t remember who cut it. Second time was by LB. she says she’s going to Hollywood to cut hair, don’t believe what she says. Horrible cut.

Kevin rushed my hair and didnt even ask how I wanted to do my hair. I was here once and was really happy with the results but on my second trip I was beyond let down. Wont be coming back. My hair is not lined up properly and the fade I wanted never happened, next time please take your time.

I called ahead and spoke to Ruthie to get some information about a haircut for my wife today. She quoted me $45 to cut, shampoo, condition and blow-dry. With a long pause and hesitation I asked how much it would cost without all of that, and she said $35. I thanked her for the information and sent my wife to the salon so my kids and I could hang at Old Chicago around the corner.My wife came back to the restaurant a significantly long amount of time later and said Ruthie insisted that the pricing was 45 (Im assuming because she noticed we pay cash). My wife wasnt sure what to do so she paid plus tipped the girl. I called back and spoke to Ruthie again. Not only was she not apologetic whatsoever for stealing the additional 10 bucks from my wife, she insisted that she was in the right. Uhm, PS - no shampoo, conditioner, etc happened during the cut. My wife was sitting with me as we made the call, and she said to Ruthie Uh, I thought it was $35?. She just said, Nope, its $45.I have called and attempted to speak to Rory now a couple times and keep getting deflected by the receptionist. We will NEVER return. Service was sub-standard. Pricing was outrageous. Attitude problems were in full-bloom. Clients BEWARE!!! Protect your hard-earned dollars and keep looking.PPS - we just moved into the area here and have created a lot of networking connections. Cannot wait to spread the bad news to our community out here in Southlands

Ok wow, terrible experience. I called today to try to set up an appointment for my husband since they close at 6pm, I wanted to see if they could get my husband in by 5:30pm. The guy responds and says no one is going to be in that late. (First thought is wow, their website says theyre open til 6 though?) I ask him whats the latest they can get my husband in for an appointment and he says no one is going to stay that late....what?! If you dont want people to come to your place on a Sunday maybe close shop. He then hung up on me. I will never refer people to this place when they ask where to get their hair done. Terrible experience, makes you feel not welcome at all.

I have had great experiences with TWO different people at His and Hers:I have been seeing Shon (beautician) a couple of times a month for the last year and a half. Shes professional and talented. Shon does a great job with hair care and styling. I have alopecia, and she is still able to work around some of my tougher spots. I leave feeling refreshed and beautiful, and I ALWAYS receive compliments on my hair.My son has been seeing Shane (barber) for over eight months now. Shane gives a helluva cut; hes a GREAT barber!!! My little man comes out of the chair fly and full of confidence. Shane is consistent, a perfectionist, and quick.

This barber is the worst in the state of Colorado. Stacy the barber. Just hearing stacy and barber in the same sentence make me cringe. This man is garbage. If you do sit in his chair expect a less than mediocre haircut and a line up that looks like the man is having a seizure. Went to Shane before, and though wasnt pleased with the cut I figured it was because my husband was not specific enough. Then called trying to get hlmy son scheduled (yes last minute). Though I was short on time, he could of just said he didnt have openings instead of telling me I was impatient. I as a paying customer and a person that has a schedule that is always busy and changing, I have to ask questions, its not being impatient. It was rude, even for a barber shop. I will take my business elsewhere.
