These guys here are great! They make you feel right at home. Adrian was willing to work with us and show us some different options with the tires. Glen was really patient and explained several financing options and David the automotive technician was like hulk! He put the tires on like no human could. Overall, it was fast, precise and I would highly recommend people seek out these individuals when you are in need of tires or any type of automotive services.

Overall good experience. Glenn and site manager was very informative with what needed to be done. Willing and able to help me out $$ wise when work is being done in bulk.Only reason for the 4 star is because they should clean the waiting room and bathrooms better for those that are staying.Outside of that, everything was good.

What a FANTASTIC experience! Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. These guys are so honest and straightforward. They don’t try to upsell you on things you don’t need. I was quoted by my dealership over $400 more than what I paid here for the EXACT SAME service. They got me in the same day and had my car fixed in less than 2 hours!! I am a HUGE fan and will definitely come back here vs the dealership the next time my car needs service.

Last two times I have came in for a tire repair, only car here, and takes 15-20 minutes. This time I’ve been here for almost an hour and they haven’t changed the tire yet. Recommend Firestone, right next door.

I brought my vehicle to the dealership to be serviced; however, after 7 hours, I received a quote that was extremely high. I called Mavis Tires and Brakes, and Milton referred me to Glen at the Fox Valley location. They serviced the car and saved me hundreds of dollars from what the dealership quoted. I already had the car check out, so when Glen told me what needed to be done, he was honest. The work was completed in the agreed upon time and I am very satisfied. I will be bringing my car back for service when it needs it.

Mavis has the most honest auto repair guys that Ive ever seen in my life. They operate with the utmost integrity. They explain everything in detail and are not hard pressed to force unnecessary add-on services. This shop is great for women. They do not take advantage of the (perceived) lack of car knowledge to overcharge female customers. They must have a different hiring process at Mavis-Fox Valley lol. Adrian, Glen & Dave are standouts, just to name a few. The entire team is A1!

Manager Adrian is horrible!! I’m not sure what’s going on with personally, but he lacks customer service skills. He shows no emotion or sympathy for their wrong doing. I have witnessed him blaming a customer for something someone in their shop has done! He first mentioned he had camera footage of the car before it was worked on and now he doesn’t have proof.He wasted most of our day trying to get answers from a substitute manager from another state when they’ve still done nothing. It’s not about the money. It was about customer service and being treated as if something they did was her fault! Adrian the manager only cares about the money and not customers. He will try to hike your bill up! To be contined

Hi this is a very good place for your auto care. I have come here for inspection of Breaks and Tyres. They clearly showed me how bad my brakes and tires. I asked for a quote for total repair and they gave me good discount compared to other auto care centers. I can also visit this place at anytime for free inspection and also free tire rotation. Staff is very friendly and they give timely updates on our car repair progress

Stopped with a low tire Glen looked at it and said it had a nail it. It was on the sidewall so he replaced it with another tire, I said I wasnt able to spend alot, sold he sold me a new tire at what i thought was a fair price . The Good : Quick Service, Friendly Professional and were able to find the tires I wanted for my Truck that no one else had in stock. (Michelin Defenders LTX M/S). The Bad : I was told My truck needs new inner and outer Tie Rods. They wanted $525 in labor to do this Job. I dont believe this job would take more than 2 hours for a decent mechanic. I work at a shop so I am pretty familiar with how long jobs take. I asked them to look at the spare tire and find/fix the leak. they didnt do it. also they said they would check the alignment for free. I was never told if the alignment was off or not. I dont believe they checked it because I didnt want to spend over $600 on the tie rods (after parts included).

We were visiting the Chicagoland area to see some family and on the day were headed back home, BOOM! Tire blowout. It was terrifying. Lucky for us, the great people at Mavis were not terrifying. Their quick and friendly service set us back on the right path and we were home in time for dinner. Thank you soooooo much and we love you guys.

After a through Out car inspection Calvin pointed out some major issues that need attention. He explained, no pressure on you sir. We @NTB can Provide these services for your car if you like, if not I just wanted make you aware of your car issues. We continue to discuss these Car issues and these Car issues have been fixed @NTB Fox valley location. Thanks to a young man name Calvin on his “A” game. I am so glad that there are still people in the Mechanic / Tire/ Customer Service Field out here that care enough to take the time to walk and talk to customers through out a complete car inspection . Remember, I just came in for tires. In the back of my mind I knew some things needed fixing. He just confirmed those things that’s all, Keep up the great job Calvin. This place would get 10 stars if they had it. I went to the dealer to have my car service as I usual do. Oil change, rotate tires etc. During this time I was told I needed front and back breaks. But I only had about 41000 miles on my car. So I thought that was unusual to need breaks. They quoted me this ridiculous price. I knew I was going to let them fix my breaks. So I got a second opinion. Turns out I really didnt need my breaks done. But I decided just to get the break pads on the part that could use them. I also needed four tires and alignment once the tires was put on. Lets just say I needed quite a bit. NTB found me some affordable tires, gave me a deal on the alignment and gave me a good deal on wipers for my car. What I paid for this was no where close to whst the dealership was trying to milk me for. Everything that I needed for my car I had done there. They did an excellent job.thank you NTB.

I recently bought 2 tires from Amazon and had them installed at this location. I wanted to keep one of my old tires and dispose of the other. The process was very painless and very fast. I showed up 5-10 minutes late for my appointment on a Saturday morning and was still in and out in less than 45 minutes with the kept tire bagged in my trunk so it wasnt soiling anything else. All in all a great interaction and I would recommend to others.That said, if the owners of this location read this feedback, PLEASE do not pressure your customers to put up reviews. It is fine to solicit feedback and I am happy to do it when asked, especially if the service was great (which it was), but the front desk person actually hand wrote a copy of what he wanted me to write and even tried to push the 5 star button on my phone after showing me how to review them, thinking maybe I didnt comprehend how to do it myself. Not cool.

Facility was very clean and service manager named Dan was professional and took the time to explain the service we needed. Price was competitive and would go back!

I went in for oil change and tires. Due to my schedule they allowed me to drop off my car and come back for it later. I worked with Calvin and he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I wasnt exactly sure what I needed for my tires and he went and took a look with me and pointed out what was wrong with the tire and confirmed it did need to be replaced. I never felt like he was being pushy which was very important to me going in there as a woman. He mentioned other things I may want to get done and I ended up taking him up on one. He was willing to price match on another and so I got another service done that I thought I would have gone elsewhere for. This was my best experience with NTB to date and it was thanks to Calvin.

I got a pretty good deal on my tires from this shop.Ive gone there several times now and received nothing less than excellent service. Exactly as I described above, is exactly the service I get every time I go there; and thats exactly the kind of service I would expect from a customer-oriented auto repair shop.
