At first i was really looking forward to working with Mary. She seemed very friendly and a great “go-to”. I was giving a price for Insurance, paid it, set up the policy and went about my happy days. It was 2 payments later that another $300 extra was withdrawn from my account. When i brought this up to Mary, she immediately apologized for the mistake but i did immediately cancel my policy that day. They are now trying to send me to collections. Yes she may be a great person but the way they handle business is VERY sketchy. BE CAREFUL to check your payment statements. I signed a policy for a certain payment and then was changed without my knowledge.

I would give Mary Jackson the lowest of the low rating. Don’t waste your time on her! First off I am a new homeowner and we went through Shelter Insurance ( Mary Jackson). At first she was great, but then when my fiancé officially bought the house, we were contacted by Mary stating that there might be a problem with the dwelling replacement on our coverage. After we tried calling and emailing Mary we never heard a response from her. We then got contacted from the bank saying there was a problem and that the problem wouldn’t cover. The main issue is that Mary never caught this problem before buying insurance from Shelter and going through hoops and loops of paper work. It’s been about two weeks now and we still haven’t heard anything from Mary Jackson. Not even a sorry I messed up email. No communication what’s so ever. I highly suggest you don’t use her service.
