I purchased a protection plan for a used Town & Country and when one of the power windows stopped working and sliding down I reached out to Teds Repair Service. They were able to easily work with the protection plan company to make the experience for me very easy and pleasant. I waited a couple of hours in their comfortable waiting lounge and the work was completed. Ill be back for all future maintenance and service.

Theyre alright nothing bad to say about it.

So far this year I have had Teds repair service work on my car twice now. Both times they have gotten the work done quickly and with good results. One time me and my daughter didnt want to wait for the repairs to be done and Ted drove up home and offered to pick us up after the repairs were done. On the way home the roads were wet from the rain. As we went around a corner near Lake Ariana a car coming from the opposite direction lost control and skidded sideways towards the front of Teds car. Ted safely got the out of the way of the other driver. If it was not for Teds great driving I believe we would have been in a serious accident. I am grateful for Ted and his repair shop. I highly recommend his repair shop for all your car needs. Thank you so much Ted! Lori :)

I broke down on the interstate and Ted was the closest mechanic to me. It was Friday and almost closing time but Ted made time to fix my vehicle and get me back on the road. Customer service was above and beyond!

These guys were great. It took some time but it was not there fault. They came in on a day they are normally closed to get my RV back to me.

I ask them to do a diagnostic test on my truck and they was very professional in their conversation with me I give a 4 because they havent done any work on my truck as yet

Took to long to fix and easy repair. Gave vehicle back with check engine light on. Ended up having Jeep Dodge Ram fix it. Dont recommend this shop. 2 stars because he tried and paid for repair.

Teds repair service diagnosed and repaired our 2012 Silverado which had two bad lifters. They were very professional and explained in detail what was needed do get the repair done. No surprises! Excellent service at a fair and affordable price.

Had my sons 07 Tacoma towed to Ted’s to have transmission replaced. We were given the cost upfront and the work was finished sooner than we originally thought it would be. Great work and great shop!!

My control panel went out and they wanted to charge me 1200 dollars for it so I didnt go through with it of course so after I got it back my head lights are now not working there was a fuse on the floor everything they took apart they left it just like that its so sad

Never had any problems until, after getting the transmission oil changed, started having transmission oil leaks. And still leaks. Got my brakes done there, what a waste of time and money, went back 3 times and still not fixed, each time I had to pay out for their mess up. I finally had to go to another garage and get all new brake pads and rotors. No problems anymore. Done with Teds since they cant get it right the first time.Answering your response, it should have been done right. You charged me $194. the first time there, $149. the second time for brakes. Plus had to take it to another garage to to get all new brake pads and rotors fixed, $279 for that. $160 for the transmission leak, which you never changed the old casket on the pan. And that cost me $195 to get fixed some where else. So it cost a total $622 just for brakes and $ 355 to fix the transmission. So no not happy at all.

I really dont like writing bad reviews but I want to save anyone I can from a similar experience. When I first called Teds I spoke to the sweetest man! I had such a good feeling my car was in good hands. My poor car! I brought it there for the alternator to be changed out and after a week of waiting I called and the man (again so sweet) told me hed check and call back. No call back. Another week and I call and they tell me its been done for a while. Why did noone call me? Oh well, I was SO EXCITED to have my car back!! I went right away and picked it up. Made it about thirty miles before the engine light came on blinking and beeping and crazy! I called back to ask what happened and the man was defensive and told me it would cost another $400 to fix the misfiring spark plugs... Feeling skeptical I called a few other mechanics and the quotes ranged from $120-200. This is a 2007 with 145K miles on it. Im a single mom working a job hugely impacted by COVID. I just put $500+ for the battery light and theres no way I can put another $400 in. I come here to at least write about the poor communication and see reviews from other people who suspect foul play! I did have some insight that its weird to have the spark plugs go right after service but didnt want to jump to foul play. I dont know what to think but I wont be going back to Teds. ☹️

I went here originally because I was close and had a coupon, but the service will keep me coming back! I needed an oil change and my rear brakes done. They got me in instantly! ( that NEVER happens). They got both done in the time it usually takes others to do an oil change alone! I was so surprised! Then I thought they miscalculated when they told me the price. I had prepared myself to pay a pretty penny, but it was really affordable. Before I left, I found another perk: with an oil change you receive roadside assistance...FREE!! What reassurance for a single mom with a disabled daughter! Teds will be mygo-to from now on! Great place, nice people, great prices!

Teds Repair Service has expert mechanics who are professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I had a wonderful experience yesterday getting a lot of work done on my Toyota Corolla 2013. I needed new brakes and a tune up. I brought it in the morning and it was done in the afternoon and the price was the best in the area. I got 3 other quotes before making my final decision. Their pricing is very competitive. I couldnt be more pleased! It would be worth an hour or more drive to have my car worked on at Teds. You will be very happy with their work. My car runs like new again. Im so happy.

This place is amazing. They fixed my 2001 Honda Accord timing belt water pump and radiator fan extremely well. This was all done at a very reasonable price I am extremely satisfied with this place. I highly recommend it :-)

I had them replace my transmission about a year ago and they managed to not only break the dip stick and tell me it was my fault they also laid the transmission line against the trans its self and almost touching my headers. It has now rubbed a pretty big hole in the line and is spewing fluid. So thanks to them I now have to replace the line as well. Not to mention I had them put a new tire on a rim and they scratched and gouged the hell out of it and told me it was already like that which I know for a fact it wasnt because I had just pulled the brand new rim out the box an hour or so before. This place is full of nothing but thieves and shysters I do not recommend taking any vehicle here unless your goal is to have a unsatisfactory job done.Also they lack any kind of positive customer service skills they were very rude.

Was on my way up north and I discovered a fuel line leak with my car, took my car to teds the next day right when they opened. Ted was able to get my car done later in the afternoon at a lower price than I originally expected. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a repair on their car.

Horrible experience after a timing belt change. When I picked up the car the car had a rough idle and the check engine light was on. I went and talk to the older man at the front desk and sent out the mechanic that worked on my car. I was surprised to see that he looked like an 18 year old with zero experience. He went ahead and cleared the check engine light. He said he forgot to clear it. I left but the rough idle continued and when I got home the check engine light turned on again. I went the next day and told the older man at the front desk which I assume was Ted himself. Told him about the rough idle and check engine light. I suspected something was wrong with the timing belt they installed. He called me in the afternoon and told me that the problem was not the timing belt job but something else and quote me $425 to put new spark plugs and check for leaks. This was on top of the almost $1000 I spent on the job they did before. I could not afford to spend more money so I pick up my car and was really disappointed with the outcome. For the next 2 weeks I continue to take the car to other shops for a second opinion. One shop told me they did not had the time to look into it because it was too time consuming but suggested that the timing belt was off by one teeth. I went to another shop and told them to check the timing and proceeded to looking into the timing belt markers and behold the rear camshaft was off by one. Not only was the timing off, the belt had a cut that went right through. The mechanic told me that someone could pry on the belt causing the cut. I though its probable that someone cut it and stayed quiet about. I cant make this up folks since I was there in person with the mechanic this time supervising the work. SO out of time belt and cut in a brand new belt. Stay away from this place at all cost. Expensive and incompetent mechanics. Shame on aaa in approving this place.

Went with a friend of mine. They brought us into the shop and showed us exactly what was wrong with her car and let her borrow one of their cars for a few days when a part didnt come in on time. Super helpful and nice. Plus they didnt treat us like idiots when explaining just because we are girls.

If you are looking for honesty and fair pricing, then you have found it! I had several shops quote me outrageous prices to fix my a.c. One shop said it would be 180 just to get the freon right so he could THEN tell me what needed to be fixed. Took it to Teds and my a c. was perfectly fine! A fan for the motor latera andI had a mechanic shop for life!

I usually dont give negative reviews but in this case i am..i took my wife van in to get checked yesterday may 23rd because of a misfire issue.. when o got home and checked all the fluids this morning Thursday the 24th i noticed that their were 4 new bolts missing from my engine cover..when i called them about it they shocked me buy saying the person who worked on the van stated they were already missing..the owner and staff know how particular i am with my van having all its parts..i guess this is how they must treat their loyal customers ..my wife is really upset that this even happened here of all places..we would never expect this from this reparable company..

Teds repair is a wonderful company. The prices are the best and the work is equivalent to places that charge $90+ an hour. I drive an older car that sat for while. I dont think twice about taking it out of town.

It was a good experience..They found the the problem with my Explorer in no time and had it fixed for me at a great price. I definately recomend going here they were very helpful.

I was referred to Teds by a previous racecar driver who has gone to this business with her cars for years. I had previously gone to another shop where they could not find the oil leak. Here they found several leaks, gave me an economical way to do the repair, and were very friendly and accomodating..plus it was the day before a holiday weekend and i stopped in last minute. From changing out an engine to replacing a headlight bulb, I have been very pleased with the service at Teds! They have always been very prompt to respond & easy to speak with about any of my automotive concerns.

I have never written an internet review before this, but I was so happy with my experience at Ted’s that I feel like I owe to them to tell my story. My wife and I were driving from Fort Myers to Orlando for a stop to see our son on our way back to Ohio from a vacation. We decided to take the scenic route instead of just running up I-75. Of course, out in the middle of nowhere, my battery light came on. I figured it was the alternator so we kept on going on the battery to try to get to somewhere to have it fixed. We got just outside of Auburndale when it was clear the car was dying. I got it into a convenience store lot when it finally died. This was at about 4pm on a Friday. We called AAA and they set up a tow and recommended Ted’s, a AAA approved shop. The tow operator (who was also great) got there by around 4:30pm and, in the middle of a storm with tornado warnings (yea it was that kind of day), got us on the hook and on our way to Ted’s. On the way, we passed by a bunch of really sketchy looking small shops and I thought “oh boy here we go.” When we got to Ted’s I was a little relieved. It looked like an OK shop. By the time we got to Ted’s it was around 4:50pm. The sign on the door showed hours of 8am-5:30pm Mon-Fri. I thought, “well, this weekend is shot and I’m going to be late getting back to work on Monday”. I asked how we were going to handle this, thinking I was going to have to leave the car and get a ride into Orlando and then back on Monday. The desk man, who I assume was Ted or at least the owner, just said “I intend to get your car fixed and get you on your way.” I thought “great!, it’s probably going to cost me, but it’s worth it.” Don’t get me wrong, it cost me, but just what I would have paid anywhere else (actually I think it was a little less as I checked the part price on the internet and found that Ted’s didn’t really have much of a markup). We were back on the road before 5:30pm. The whole thing, from break down, tow, repair to back on the road took about an hour and a half! I know it’s a long story, but it had to be told. I got great, fast and fair service from Ted’s even though they knew I was an out of towner that they could have taken advantage of. My only regret is that Ted’s in not in my town (I can’t really justify the 1000 mile drop off trip).
