My booked movers canceled our move two days before they were suppose to come leaving us stranded. Every mover was booked. By luck Jennifer answered my email at 9 at night and was able to squeeze us in even though they had a tight schedule. The guys were fast, smart, good humored, and were extremely careful with our large house move. I love the fact they list their pricing right on their website and cover so much detail. We moved yesterday. Reliable went far beyond our expectations. This was a positive experience from the estimate all the way thru the move. The staff was friendly and professional. We had a lot of antiques. Everything was wrapped well. Not to mention we had two safes and a great deal of heavy items. The owners came out gave us a estimate noting all that was being moved. We used Reliable Movers this past weekend to move my Mom from her long standing residence in Herkimer, NY to Baldwinsville, NY. From the first contact with Reliable they were great, thank you Jen!The two guys they sent to perform the move did a GREAT job, I couldn’t believe how fast they were able to move our stuff … on both ends of the move. Both guys were very polite and professional and took great care of my Mom’s furnishings. I would not hesitate for a moment to use your company again should the need arise.

So quick and efficient!! We had large bedroom sets including 2 loft beds. Movers arrived right on time, dismantled loaded moved reassembled the entire house in 3.5 hrs. Phenomenal service and such a stress relief on us!

I would like to commend Joe and Brandon for the excellent job of moving our things in early November. We have a lot of breakable items and they were very careful, patient and professional when moving them. When we unpacked our things we found nothing was broken! I agree with the previous review saying the dispatch team/management is clueless, but the actual movers are great. I was given a time, they didnt show and i had to call to find out where they were but the message said no one was in the office. They finally called back and gave a new time with no apology, and yet again didnt show or call to give an update. Called them again and was told they would call when they were on their way. Still nothing so called later, and they were almost to the location for pick up which was not my house and thats why I need a notice that they were on their way so I could get there at the right time. Turns out Jen, the manager, poorly planned for drive time from Rochester to Syracuse to Ithaca and didnt account for the driving so they were hours late. She blamed it on a bigger than expected shipment but the movers said she didnt tell them when i was expecting them or else they would have called. They werent told to call me on the way either. So management is poor and had to plan with, but the movers didnt have to communicate amongst themselves about rotating objects in doorways- they were a solid team thinking alike and familiar with best ways of doing things. Took care wrapping my furniture and nothing was damaged.

Reliable Movers came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Jen and Mike met with us in our home to assess the contents and came back with a quote by the next day. On the day of our move, they sent a team of 6 to load our 4 bedroom home into a truck. What seemed like a daunting task was expertly and efficiently loaded within 2 1/2 hours. The contents were safely delivered to our new home in NC the next day. Kevin and his team were in contact with us during travel to coordinate delivery times, and the unload was as efficient as the load. We highly recommend Reliable!

What a great group of people to work with. They moved me yesterday and II coul not be happier. From start to finish everything was professional, friendly, and very accommodating. The price was competitive, the movers very nice. They were careful with my furniture and moved my 900 pound piano with no issues.

Dave and Tom moved us today and I could not have asked for better care. Things were well packed, wrapped, padded and fastened down. I was especially impressed with their care. Very gentle setting things down. Negotiated narrow stairs with a very heavy item and never came close to damaging a thing. These guys are GOOD !!! Not a worry with these guys on the job.

Moving is so stressful and so expensive. we were going from NJ to the finger lakes region and struggling to find a company that was not brokering movers to us. i wanted the movers, equipment, and trucks to all be through one company - and to talk to someone who actually *knew* the staff. i found reliable movers about 10 days before we needed to leave. i spoke to jen and mike directly, worked mostly with jen. she explained everything, was knowledgable and understanding of how chaotic moving during covid-19 had been. i immediately felt comfortable.it turned out the team of movers was very ahead of schedule and could come to me a day early. they called me directly to talk through options, texted me updates, and were communicative upon arrival. everything in our 1-bd apartment was cleared in about an hour. swift! i mostly stayed out of the way, but was impressed. my husband met them at the storage unit and was similarly pleased with how well our antiques and sentimental items were cared for.working with reliable movers meant i was paying a lot more than with some of the nationwide van companies, but i was so much more comfortable talking to a real person and knowing someone i could trust would be transporting literally everything we owned. we will be moving in the fall again to a more permanent home and i will likely be calling jen and her team again.

I got a binding agreement and was to be called back “in the next day or two” (that never happened). I called back myself and my binding agreement went up only a mere $2000. I had a very small load going to Florida and they were able to fit me on the truck with another couple heading that way. When I questioned why my estimate went up so much, I was told the couple cancelled. The man and woman should try to keep their stories straight as the exact date that the wife told me the couple was leaving just happened to be the same date the man offered to pick my things up. When I told him that date didn’t work for me, he told me he’d call me back. I was in shock when that didn’t happen (sarcasm). If you want to be jerked around and lied to then sure give them a call. My experience is the wife is much more honest and she was quite friendly and helpful. I firmly believe she tried her best to help. The guy was a total jerk off and insulted my intelligence. Anyone who knows him personally tells me he’s as cheap and shady as they come. I can see they’re all correct. It’s a no from me. I wish could leave negative stars because I would. The guys a loud mouth wanna be big shot. Just say NO! BAD BUSINESS! I will add that yes I do not use my real name on this email however they know who I am. I love how all their previous poor reviews are “people getting back at them” Coincidentally that’s what they accused me of as well. It’s laughable. I’d love to show my phone records as proof.

Called Reliable Movers to have my apartment moved Jenn and Mike came right over to give me a estimate very quickly we did a walk through they told me how much and Boom I pulled the trigger there price was hands down the best I called one other company in town they were crazy priced so I hired Reliable they came week later moved everything out packed neatly in the truck no Damage and shipped it to the other house in know time they are amazing and I will tell everyone in town that I know that is ever moving to use reliable movers thanks guys.

Movers were amazing I had hired another moving company and they couldn’t get the job done. These guys came and really helped me out of a jam and fit me right into their schedule the next day. Everyone who came was super nice !! They knew what they were doing so I had no worries about my stuff being damaged. They will be my first call my next move!!

I got multiple quotes for our two part move ending in Tampa Florida. Mike and his team delivered the best pricing and options so we went with them for our moves. The owners Mike and his wife Jennifer were quick to communicate and answered our numerous questions and eased our worries of getting bad movers. Our last movers 9 years ago still gives us nightmares.Our move consisted of packing the entire house and moving us to storage then moving us to Tampa. Our house had sold faster then intended in Camillus and our house in Tampa was not finished due to construction delays.Jennifer, Jessica, and Jay packed our entire 4 bedroom home in one day. This would have taken us weeks. Yhe next day the men came and packaged our furniture and put it into storage with great care.Our builders finished work early and i called Mike to see if he could bring our stuff down before the set date of November. Without missing a beat our stuff was delivered last week.We are so impressed with Reliable Movers we referred them to our friends moving to New Jersey and they had already hired Reliable Movers from one of their friends referral!!Mike, Jennifer,Jessica, Kevin,Jay, and Tom were the best crew of people to work with.

Hard for me to rate their service, since I was told theyd call me back for a quote three times over a three week period and no one ever called. When I finally got someone on the phone, we scheduled a meeting time and nobody showed up. In the end, I hired a company out of Syracuse.EDIT: Yes, Im positive I was calling Reliable Movers.

Originally I had hired another moving company and gave a deposit. The night before the other movers called a cancelled our move saying their truck was broke down. At 8pm at night my wife and I struggled calling movers and getting answering machines and services. At 9pm I called Reliable Movers and actually talked to the owner. His wife Jen booked our move for 1pm the next day and we hoped and prayed they would show up their price about 400.00 less then quoted. At the closing Jen left a voice mail, I couldnt get It but gulped nervously. Walking out of the closing Jen called again, the men were at our house waiting two hours ahead of schedule!! Kevin, Brandon, Jay, and Tom loaded our 3 bedroom home in less then 4 hours. Careful, brilliant, quick paced, friendly guys. Our furniture packaged and handled with care. They even took a box spring out of a 2nd floor window. Piano was movedcwuthvsych precision.. My wife and I could not be happier. Moving is so stressful but Reliable Movers eliminated all of this. You guys have my vote for best movers in Syracuse!!

Very good service. I had a last minute move due to a lawyer issue with the house closing. Guys were very nice, on time, uniformed, and worked hard. The truck was big and fit all my furniture no problems. Unfortunately I am a collector of many antiiques so i did have a lot of stuff packed good, but the lead guy Kevin took time and helped me finish up and did not charge me extra. I would hire them again without hesitation.

My move went very easy with no stress. They did everything they said they would. The price was 50.00 more than another movers quote but worth the extra money. The employees are very nice respectful and diligent.

These people have blown me off 3 times in 4 days without so much as a courtesy call to let me know they arent showing up. I had to call them each time, after over an hour of waiting passed the time scheduled. Do. Not. Call these people. Because they are definitely not Reliable!

I recently hired Reliable Movers to move my household from Brewerton, NY to Saratoga Springs, NY. After getting quotes from several movers, Reliables was by far the best value. I was able to arrange everything (including the estimate) by phone/online with Jen. They were great about accommodating a short timeline. The guys showed up a little late, but it was because of a typo in my address. They were super fast loading and unloading the truck, treated my property really well. Nothing was lost or broken, the guys were very courteous and easygoing. This was our first experience with movers, and Id use them again in a heartbeat & would recommend them to friends or family.

THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. We called them to get a quote on packing our house. We set the schedule for one day then at the last minute they canceled on us. So we reschedule and they dont even show up. When I called to complain there comment was well you live in one city and we live in a different city. What a F-ing joke of a company. The only good reviews they have, must of been written by friends. Never use this company ever, they are extremely unprofessional and dont know what the hell they are doing.

I did not even want to give one star, but you have too. What an ironic name for this company, I would call it Unreliable Movers. Ethics and reputation steer me away, Stay Away!
