They give you options with prices and never try to talk you into the more expensive choice. They are cheaper than the dealerships. They service all types of vehicles and have worked on our Kia, Honda Odyssey, Mini Cooper, Toyota Highlander, and Ford F-150. Quick service too!

I am from out of town and my check engine light came on. I pulled in, for $60, he checked it, it was a small problem that i didnt have to fix right away, so i went on my merry way. Very quick and easy and friendly service. Thanks!

Have not lived in Auburn for 2 years, and i miss having this service center nearby. Had many different vehicles, including some cheap/troublesome work cars, serviced here. Quick turnaround, honesty and fair pricing. Couple of times i went to drop off a vehicle and and after describing the problem was instructed to buy a $10 part and see if it fixes it, before paying them a diagnostic fee. If you live in the area I would not bother trying to find a better shop.

I went in because I thought my front wheel bearings were bad. David took my car for a test ride, put it on a lift and showed me what was wrong, which was not my bearings. He then recommended a tire place. Overall cost was zero. In doing so he earned my trust and business forever.

I came here a few months ago to get a normal maintenance done as I hadn’t had one in a while, and was happy about everything as far as the service went, but after a few weeks my car started to have problems with the steering. I quickly realized that the power steering fluid was empty. My car didn’t leak so they must’ve forgotten to check it which seemed like something that should’ve easily been noticed. Good shop but knock a star for attention to detail.

Took my car here to get the brakes done. Told me it would be $700. Called around and a place right down the road was half the price. Both owners were extremely rude and were trying to take advantage of me. Also there is a $60 fee he charges you for just looking at the problem and does not even disclose it. Would not recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend, great experience! Needed parts replaced, so shopped around for a bit - Whitts turned out to be by far the most reasonably priced, and they were most willing to work with me. Very honest. My daughter brought her car in for suspected brake issues. They called and told me the brakes looked great but that there were two tire problems that were causing the issue. Saved me a lot of money. Will send her there next time we have a problem.

Absolutely amazing work! Whitt is a very knowledgeable and respectable person. My car has the check engine light on and blinking, so I brought my car to his shop. Dropped my car off at 8:30am and he diagnosed the problem shortly after explaining to me the problems wrong with my car. We then decided together on what to fix and he did started right after that! My car ended up being done around 2:30pm and I could not be anymore happy with their service.I definitely recommend Whitt and his crew to anyone!

This place is wonderful!! The people are friendly and extremely accommodating! They called my cars dealership to see if anything was covered under warranty, and were still so helpful even though they lost the work because it was. I would highly recommend this shop. Great people and great service!!

Brought my truck to them with a worn wheel bearing which caused a few other problems with the brakes, they had the truck for less that 24 hours and had everything replaced and working. On my way from NC to FL. Fuel pump died on me at my hotel parking lot. Called Whitt and talked to Mr. Whitt himself. Very respectful and professional. Im mechanically inclined, however I was without my tools. I usually despise having to pay for repairs and maintenance. Mr. Whitt had my vehicle done in one afternoon and I gladly paid for his service. Great shop, great people.

My daughters 05 CR-V had a possible battery-drain/Charging system issue. Battery was dead after the car was sitting for 5 days. She got a jump and headed to Advanced-Auto. They replaced the battery (it needed to be replaced anyway) and then they did a charging system check - inconclusive...it *may* be the alternator .This is when we found Whitts - they confirmed it was not the charging system but rather a parasitic load on the system, a 0.6A draw killed her battery over 5 days. Whitts found the offending culprit and we were out the door for less than $60. Very pleased with their service.

Great service. Dropped my car off Monday morning, got a call that afternoon detailing what the problem was and the price for the fix, picked the car up Monday before 5. Did not try to up charge me, only fixed the problem I came in for. Will be coming here next time I need service.

David Whitt, the owner has excellent customer service and knows how to treat people. He is also very knowledgeable about automobiles and always asks permission before they do any work on a car so you dont have to worry about added charges at this shop.

David always performs high quality work, which is usually complete is a short amount of time. He always keeps us informed on the status of our vehicle.

Good guy clean shop ....droped everything to get me back on the road asap which i really appreciated since i was traveling to maine and the fair price on top of all that was nice too since everywhere i called quoted me 150$$ more than him

At first I thought they did a great job for a great price. My car wouldnt start and I wasnt sure why. I took it in and found out the battery cables were loose. They tightened them for me and told me I should probably get a new battery because the voltage was lower then it should be. But they tightened the cables so much so that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get them off to take the battery in for testing and even bent part of the battery cable. We tried forever to unhook it till the point that the cable broke with the nut still attached to the battery. So now we have to replace both the battery AND the cable. 0 stars for further breaking my car.

First off I called the shop told him what was going on with the car he said he would test it and pull it for free as long as I was willing to let him fix it I agreed time comes to get the car and test he says he dosnt know whats wrong and i owe him 158 for test and towing I didnt agree since he said it was free but since he couldnt fix it I paid another lie dont nobody answer my phone but me so I know I didnt tell u it would be free ok well who just answer your phone on your so called hour lunch break? big liar would never go back or recommend him to anyone. instead go right down the street to tiger auto they do great work.

This was what I experienced a while ago. It was until today I know I got ripped off...a lot. I am new to USA so I dont know a lot of common stuff. I bought a used car which had its check engine light on so I went to this small stinky shop and ask them to have a look. They told me that this is a very hard job (lie) and they have some fancy $100k dollar machine that can read the engine light code. So I paid them $150 for reading the code. Until now I found that Autozone can do it for free with exactly the same machine which itself cost less than $150. Lol. Very bad experience. Very blantant lie. I wouldnt trust these guys with anything. Your car is very important and car accident can cost your life so dont let liars touch it.

Do you think that they stayed in business by doing bad work and ripping people off ? I have been taking my vehicles to them for nearly fifteen years. I recommend them to all my friends. I have always gotten quality work from them at a good price. People like you get on the internet and rant and rave about how everything sucks and that everybody is stupid. My son had a radiator hose blow out late at night. I looked up internet reviews and chose Whitts. My son had his BMW 325i towed to Whitts Auto that night, they ordered the part the next day, and had it repaired the next. Good service at a fair price.

My Daughter is an out of town student. Whitts has repaired her car twice, no problems at all, reasonable pricing and promt service. The first time we used Whitts we had to have her car towed in and initially the fuel pump was suspected. After further inspection it was found that a wire to the pump had a short in it, he fixed the wire instead of installing a new fuel pump which he could have if he was dishonest saving us over 200 bucks. They know what they are doing and its nice knowing us out of town dads can rely on his honest services. Thanks David!

They fixed our truck. They didnt do like most places and say it needed more than it did.

They have always been kind, reasonably priced, and I have never felt taken advantage of. Have used them over the years from oil changes to repairs.

Very pleasant atmosphere and good service.

Their website states they do engine overhaul. I just called and asked about a ring job on my truck. They only do engine replacement, not overhauls. They should remove that from their service listing on their website. It is not accurate.
