I contacted Green Tec Auto after being unable to get my 2004 Prius started and from start to finish they were amazing! I talked to Joe to have diagnostics done and they were available the next day to have it looked at. I lucked out and got it running, but they were so awesome and responsive to work with.100% would recommend to all hybrid owners.

Really sweet and professional staff here! Our Prius battery died and the dealership was quoting us $4K just for the battery. I found GreenTecAuto online and we chose the 1 year warranty battery. Including mobile labor service, it came to $1,300 including tax. The technician who came out (the very next day after we bought the battery!) was super nice, friendly and professional. Our 265,000 mile Prius now has another year in it! Whoohoo!

Greentec exceeded our expectations! We called Toyota about replacing our hybrid battery on our Toyota Prius. It was going to cost us $100 to be sure that the either the battery or the controller were to blame for our warning light on and the car just not acting right. Then it would cost another $4000 if we had to replace the battery plus installation and $3000 plus installation if it is the controller or possibly it could be both. I found Greentec online ad and then checked the company reviews on Google and Yelp. I found the reviews were good and they are a large company with locations through out the west coast. They would do the diagnostics for free and would show how they did it and what it meant. Our local technician in Auburn was awesome. His name is Vlad, short for Vladimir. He was very helpful in getting the car off the trailer and back on as well as explained to me what was needed and the costs as well as benefits of different options. He was a breath of fresh air with no pressure to things that did not need doing. I knew all the costs in advance and when I arrived at the shop he checked things out on his computer. He made the needed repairs and replacements. The cost was exactly as quoted at $2300. That included diagnostics and installation labor and a 36 month warranty. Great deal, Great price and Great customer service by Vlad. I would go back if I ever need another replacement battery and I have already made recommendations to friends.

When the hybrid battery in our Prius needed to be replaced, the dealership wanted almost $5,000 to replace it. This price included six hours of labor to install the new battery. We called Green Auto Tech. They got us in the next day, and we were in and out in 40 minutes for $2,200! (We purchased a new battery.) Overall very impressed! Thank you for the great service!

Greentec is building a good product. New improved batteries for customers that intend to keep their vehicle and reconditioned batteries for those who have a short time line of ownership. We have only used the new batteries and they have performed well. Easy company to work with, reliable delivery with a smile.

Replaced hybrid battery in our 2007 Prius with Greentec New Cells Battery with 48 month Warranty. We went from 33.2 MPG to 48.1 MPG in 10 mins. of driving. New battery is at least 20 pds. lighter so that helps too. All codes and lights that had come on, cleared by themselves!I’m very impressed. Now we will see how long the new battery actually lasts. Note, the best mileage we had every seen with existing battery 46.2.—Road trip 2-28-19: Mostly freeway. 800 miles39.8 average. It appears new Greentech battery charges up quickly but also consumes itself quickly. It is fairly cold out and previous (factory battery) did about the same in cold weather,

I went there at greentec auto, and i think even 0 star rating is more for them. I went there for my hybrid car battery for $1430 but unfortunetly it works horribly, after every one mile my car shows up the message as check you hybrid system. Despite of the fact that i just got a new one from them . When i went back to see it again, and they did but caused same problem. the one who claimed himself as manager doesnt even managed time and took 3 hours everytime to put inside the battery . They are playing a scam game, so i went somewhere else and just took 15 minutes to fix the problem and doesnt even ask for the further chagers . Dont go for the greentec autos if you dont wanna waste your money & time!

My technician was awesome his name was vladar I think and he was super nice and helpful. I had a slight oversight on my part with my bank and needed to transfer some $ to settle my bill and he gave me a ride from West Seattle to downtown without any issues. I really appreciated that and will recommend to all my Prius owner friends. Thanks!

Great people, i sent the car expecting to change hybrid battery replaced, but they tested it and they called me and they said its not needed. so they saved me 1200. they topped off all fluid as well with no charge. I would definitely recommend them

Update dont use them they dont follow through on there warranty!! Im currently broke down my IMA light is on and they wont send anyone out to help.. Dont believe the lies of them on the warranty they dont even care when you have kids in the car broke down!!Ben is amazing and quick brought honda hybrid in and in a hour he was able to replace the IMA battery in the car!! These guys are good and honest. They did not try to sell me a Hybrid battery pack when my car did not need one. I had an issue with my 2008 Prius this past winter, and had the car towed to Greentec Auto at their older location. Their tech diagnosed my car and informed me that the hybrid batteries where not bad, but that my car was not getting enough fuel. Instead of charging me to replace my batteries, they tried to help me with the lack of fuel issue at no charge. I towed my Prius to a Toyota dealer in Auburn that charged me about $150 to diagnose my issue. They wanted to charge me to replace my hybrid battery pack, hybrid battery fan, and 12 Volt battery to the tune of about $3000 before they could troubleshoot my lack of fuel issue. i then towed my Prius home and called an independent hybrid expert from Portland, Oregon who resolved my lack of fuel issues, and replaced my battery packs (at a cost of course). In hindsight, Greentec was spot on with their diagnosis (at no charge); the young tech at that time just did not have the experience to know that my Generation 2 Prius was just out of fuel...there is a known issue with the Gen 2 Prius fuel gauge reading versus actual fuel in the fuel tank.

Great people, great work and a great price.After learning from my local Honda dealer it would cost nearly $4000.00 to replace the IMA battery in my car I decided I needed a better deal. With a little web surfing I found Greentec Auto, During my first contact with Greentec Auto I knew my 2000 Honda Insight would be back on the road in no time at all. Minutes after contacting them through their website I received a call from Sylvia one of Greentec’s customer service reps and after getting a little more information from me she emailed me invoices containing the cost breakdowns and installation options for the three different batteries they had available for my car. It didn’t take long for me to decide which battery I wanted and to have it installed at Greentec’s nearby location in Kent WA. Later that day I got a call from Ivan Greentec’s Hybrid Specialist in Kent, we set up an install date and time dependent on when the battery would arrive at his location with a promise of a second call to firm up the appointment after it arrived, Ivan called two days later and we set a time. I arrived a few minutes early for my mid-morning install appointment and was greeted by David a Greentec associate, he pulled my car around to the repair bay and by Ivan’s instruction began disassembly of my car to remove and replace the battery. As a team they worked fast and effectively to do the R&R in a timely manner with the knowledge to overcome any hurtles my Honda threw at them. We settled the balance of the fee before I left and without going to deep just let me say I save almost 50% of the cost the dealer was going to charge. Be assured that if I still own my Honda Insight or any Hybrid when the battery needs replacing again I won’t hesitate to call Greentec Auto in Kent, WA. Thank you Sylvia, Ivan and David,Blake
