Everyone is so friendly and nice and wonderful! I called and asked for someone who was good with styling and cutting curly hair. The receptionist was a delight to work and talk with! Then, she set me up with Megan and she was amazing! We talked a lot about how I wanted my hair and she really worked with me on getting it how I liked and made sure it didnt look dumb and that it looked feminine, which is what I asked for. She was wonderful to talk to and just made me feel less stressed about getting my hair cut. Thank you!!

Loved my haircut. I had long hair and I wanted to cut it really short so I decided to donate my hair and salon 35 was listed as one of the salons that are affiliated with wigs for kids association. My stylist Beth was really nice. I showed her the pic and she did a similar haircut on mine. I loved it, it looks good. Bonnie at the reception is sweet too.

I absolutely LOVE this salon. The people working there are all so friendly and helpful. Meagan really has a gift for what she does. Ive had my hair dyed twice by her so far, and also styled for my wedding, and Ive always left feeling so happy and confident. She does stunning work. Such a wonderful salon. I definitely recommend it!

I visited Donna on a referral from a coworker. If you are seeking major color changes, she will be honest with you if it will take more than one appt to get your hair color where you want it to be. My hair is very fine and couldn’t be over processed in one visit. From a previous salon to Donna’s chair, I’m happy with where Donna has taken my highlight coloring! If you want to change up the style, she listens to your input and will give you the new look you’re hoping for.

I LOVED MY EXPERIENCE. First time ever bleaching my hair or anything so we decided to do some natural highlights and they were perfectly placed. Kim was awesome on the phone and talked me through my nervousness and Beth was awesome doing my hair

The stylist Olivia was very unprofessional and she would clean her hands and the equipment with the same towel. cut my hair unevenly and when I called to speak to someone in charge the lady was rude and didnt even offered to fix my hair or refund . I would give it 0 star if I could . This place charges very close to high end but deliver nothing. I would recommend going to a nicer salon pay a few dollar more and get a perfect result

Went here as part of a bridal party 9/30, and it was FANTASTIC! everyone there was so nice and pleasant. They worked hard to make sure everyone was looking amazing this morning with hair and makeup!! I had hair and makeup done for myself and my wedding party on 9/30. It was wonderful! Many staff members came in early in the morning on their day off to make my wedding day special. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I was extremely satisfied with how our hair and makeup turned out and it looked great all day. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Extremely friendly and welcoming environment. You first walk in to a waiting room. I went with my mom to get her hair done so I waited in the waiting area. The staff was so friendly and nice to every person walking in, there seem to be a lot of regulars. The lady at the front desk would often greet customers by their first name. Overall very good experience and the haircut was great. Would recommend and come back

Donna, owner and stylist at Salon 35, has been coloring my hair for a long time. I am always happy after a visit with Donna. She listens to what I would like to do and then makes it happen! The salon is always clean and friendly and the recent renovations look terrific. I highly recommend Donna and her staff at Salon 35!

My hair came out decent, not exactly what I wanted but Jen was cool, other than the fact I felt like she was trying to guilt me into tipping her big with her life stories the entire time I was there... I was upset that I left with damp hair when it was 13 degrees outside and she didn’t style my hair at all knowing I was going to a party after. I understand I was there until after close, but knowing what I was asking for when they scheduled me they should’ve known it would take that long.. so there was no excuse for me leaving with a cold, damp head in the freezing weather.. still tipped 20% but I regret being that nice. The other stylist in the salon seemed to know what she was doing better and cared for her client. So I’d recommend her if I were to recommend this place at all. Don’t know her name but she has black hair with bangs & blue eyes :)

Ralph has been cutting my hair for 20-some years. Hes at Salon 35 Tuesdays and Wednesdays after 5 pm. He does a great job on both mens and womens hair.

I am looking to get my hair cut for the first time in a long time. Because I am biracial, I have a different texture of hair, and to be safe, I gave Salon 35 a call to ask if they had any experience with dealing with ethnic hair. The woman I talked to proceeds to laugh at me and informed me that they do not do ethnic hair here and continues to laugh. A simple no would have sufficed. To say that I was appalled would be an understatement. I have a roommate who gets her hair cut here, and after telling her what happened, she will not be returning. I went to Oakland University and will be telling everyone that I know that goes there of my encounter. Maybe you should think about your business before insulting your potential clients. Better luck next time.

I havent been there in a while but the service is excellent.

Had gone into the salon for a consultation and was told i could take my dirty blonde to grey. I had made an appointment for two weeks after that first appointment for 2pm. I arrived on time. The staff was nice if your looking for a good hair cut i would recomend however i arrived at the salon at 2in the afternoon and didnt leave until 7:30 pm that night. Yes i hage a lot of hair should it had taken that long no. I the main part that i am upset about is the fact that i went in wanting a icy grey and left with a bright blonde. The staff does not seem to be on the same page as me and keeps thunking I want a icy blonde. I sat in that salon for over 5 hours and walked out with no grey just a super light blonde. I call the salon the next day and all they could do for the situation was tell me to come in and they will tone it.... I know that wont make it greyish like i want but instead brighter. I also do not have time to go back in where i have a very busy schedule. I had asked for a refund of some of my money and the owner said i cant do anymore than 30 because i dont think it is fair for her to work for free however i didnt ask for all it back only 50% that would be 100 dollars back in my account and they got to keep a 100 of the 200 i paid. My hair dresser was nice and friendly but i beleive the products they used didnt work efficiently and or well enough. A hairdresser ahould always listen to what their client wants and then do their best to get them what they want. In this situation she did try her best but only got my hair to the halfway point of what wanted.

Dude here, the walk-in was great, reasonably priced, friendly staff, a+. The strip mall where this place is located has a starbucks, sushi, dry cleaning and UPS... one stop for all of your errands.

Highly disappointed with the service... Firstly I was told my hair would be permanently straightened and after the procedure the results werent satisfying so they blame you for not having the kind of texture and most of all they just give up on you once you pay them do unprofessional the staff needs to be a little more polite
