First time going to ANY establishment to get a haircut since 2002. Ive been cutting my own hair for years and life just got a little too busy for me to keep up. I initially was skeptical as I am very particular about with whom I let touch my hair. Jenn was very professional and sweet. She was extremely thorough, kind, and accommodating. The environment is very welcoming and cozy. I would highly recommend her as she is very skillful and precise. I love my cut!!! As an added bonus shes incredibly beautiful and who doesnt want their hair fondled by a gorgeous woman. 👍👍

This place is fantastic and Ive had only good experiences here. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The hair stylist Holly always does a great job. Shes very personable, and she takes her time and pays attention to the details. I couldnt ask for a better stylist and I will keeo coming back. I highly recommend Hair Mechanix

My husbands beard is very long. He takes a lot of pride in it and is always nervous about new people touching his beard.He bit the bullet and went to see Sara Beth. She did an amazing job and now has a forever customer. He said he also liked the experience and chill atmosphere. Hell definitely be back and hell absolutley be asking for Sara Beth again.Im a happy wife looking at his clean trimmed beard.

Walked in last week for a cut and shave, 2 girls sitting in chairs on their phones, but no one had time to fit my boyfriend in. He went back that evening, posted hours were until 8 and it was closed at 715.

My boyfriend always gets his hair cut by Kristy and she does such a great job! She always remembers him and the cut is always perfect. Definitely recommend. 🙌

Kristy is absolutely amazing. My three year old was scared to get his hair cut n she was so patient with him to the point she cut his hair while he was in my wife’s lap on the floor. My oldest son loves going to kristy he calls her his personal hair doer. She is absolutely amazing no complaints ever.

Great cuts, and great staff, very friendly!! Edit, Wow, you get a good hair cut but classic clipper price now sits at $23, they continue to raise prices. So after a tip, $30 for a mans cut, to much, I will go to a generic hair cut place.

After trying out several different Hair Mechanix locations I found Auburn Hills was the best. The staff does an impeccable job not only for myself but my 3 year old son as well. Michelle is my always go to. Shes a master at what she does. The best of the best. Always looking forward to my next haircut.

Say they take walk ins but I have tried 3x taking my boys in and they dont have anything available. Why advertise walkins welcome when clearly theyre not.

I Have been here twice and when I 1st went there my hair was a mess from Great Clips and Holly fixed it and she is very good with beards also every time I leave I am very happy with her work I can say I will never go to another place she has a customer for life thanks again

Stefana is literally a God when it comes to hair!!! Everyone knows how hard it is to find someone to do a good fade. Whoever is reading this, I know you are shaking your head in agreement right now. I used to go to a place that was in walking distance to my home, that is until I met Stefana. I HAPPILY drive 45 minutes to see this girl. She is THAT good. She takes the time necessary with each client to make sure it is done right. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She is always on time with every appointment and ready for you the moment you walk in the door. She is kind, and caring and focuses on giving you the exact cut you want, not what she thinks you should have, like many stylists do. My ENTIRE extended family goes to her now. Trust me. You won’t regret it. Give her a try, you will wonder why you ever went anywhere else to begin with!!!!!

Im not too picky on my haircuts - my main goal is to keep my wife happy. Stefana keeps my hair in check and also satisfies my wifes needs for being married to a handsome head of hair.Recommend making an appointment, the online portal works well enough for this, but a walk in can get a pretty quick turnaround as well.

Been going to this Hair Mechanix and the one in Westland, MI for 6 years and always get a top-notch haircut. I typically get the first available stylist, typically no appt needed (pre-Covid19). They are all quality and efficient stylists. I dont let any other place cut my hair.

I have recently starting coning to the Hair Mechanix in Auburn Hills. I have been very impressed. I go there specifically to see Tamara. She has been cutting my hair for years. She does an amazing job and I highly recommend Tamara for all your haircut needs. I have recommended her to many close friends and family members. She is a delight.

Chris is insane....that is not Aubrey at all!extremely personable staff, every time i walk in they always greet me appropriately. I have been seeing Aubrey for over a year now and she is awesome!! Shes always in a great mood and I have never had a bad conversation. She is extremely talented in all facets and will always make sure you are comfortable.Kat is great too. Aubrey had a LOA and referred me to Kat. She is extremely nice and will always give you a great cut with great conversation.I found my home shop and wont be going anywhere as long as those 2 ladies are there!

Aubrey has done an awesome job cutting my hair! All the staff there are personable and great as well. Stop in if you havent guys! Well worth it! Also they do straight razor shaves, beard and eyebrow trims, scalp conditioner / massage, hair coloring for men etc.

Im a transplant from out of state so when I moved here I didnt know where to go for a good and reasonably priced cut. This place is the absolute best and has exceeded every expectation! I wont go anywhere else for as long as Im here.

Good place - exactly what you expect from these guys haircuts chains. Hard to complain about a $19 haircut and no appointment needed. Clean facilities and a fast, affordable cut. Plenty of TVs and available stylists. Hot towel and neck shave was awesome. Aubrey was great and took the time to make sure the cut was what I wanted. Will return!

Meh! They dont seem to care whether or not they have a client in the chair. Take of and wait on the front, hair cut wasnt the best. Just regular Joe place, that makes the guys feel masculine. I guess.

Staff has been great and friendly. I take my 2 young boys who get great cuts here. My only complaint is the tech side of things. You cant check more than one person in under a phone number, annoying when I have 2 boys to schedule appointments for. As they have grown they have not kept the web page updated for stylist under booking appointments or some of their other locations.

I have an easy hair style (buzz). Quick and painless cut. $2 discount for first cut. Shaved the neck. Offers shaving options and cut options. Hot towel was nice.

Great place for a beard trim. Not all stylists trim beards and fewer do straight razor shaves. Online appointment system and stylist bios are helpful.

Today was my first time there, it was definitely a good experience. At first I thought 19.00 was a little pricy for a haircut but the girls go above and beyond to make you happy. Well worth the money I thought but I would recommend making a appointment or you might have a long wait.

Nice girls,good hair cuts. When you go ask for anybody but Jessica. She cut my neck when she shaved it; it looked like I was attacked. She took a good chunk of skin. I was bleeding. She is ether too careless or too incompetent to take the right care to shave someone’s neck with a razor. If I could post a picture you would see how bad it is.

Great haircut (Tamara is amazing), horrendous music selection. Slow depressing music is not my vibe. After the nice girl at the front changed it on request while I was leaving, one of the girls yelled at her to change it back.

Started doing here before I moved (work here). I started off bouncing around first available, then found jade who was awesome but she left, now with stefana whos been incredible. She even came on her off day because i had a date....didnt expect or push it, she just offered. Love her, love the place, great staff definately recommended!!

Wont go back. We have tried them a few times because the girls seem to be nice, but the stylists come and go all the time. So you cant make sure you will ever have the same cut. Not to mention a few dont seem to know what they are doing. She did a horrible job and I had to ask her to fix it somehow and she still charged me full price $20 for my 5 year olds hair cut that she gave a horrible cut to. Wont go back and wont recommend to anyone.

Aubree is very rude and pushy. Seems like shes just their to make a paycheck... Very inconsiderate and doesnt take her time. I have loose hair everywhere on my head !! She denied me a shampoo. I can honestly say.... That has been the worst experience Ive ever had in 5 years of me going to Hair Mechanix.... She needs a job she enjoys.
