Won’t be going here again. I made my appointment a week in advance and they still had someone booked too closely to mine. The person doing my wax was rushing. Did not change sticks between applications and put the wax in PAPER CUPS to apply. Not professional, I was uncomfortable and now I have a bad breakout on my chin from the wax. I advise against going here.

It was my first time coming here, there was a little wait, but the professionalism of the business is very nice. I felt comfortable. They are very clean and thorough. Joana did a great job and was really knowledgeable. The most precise wax Ive had thus far. And I love it.

I received a sugared Brazilian wax from Joana and it was amazing! We were casually talking during the process because it was not too painful. It also didn’t take long.

Joana was amazing for my first wax. I upgraded to the coco wax. I also applied lidocaine before my service to help with the pain but she was amazing . After my wax I got the hydro jelly and the light were low to help with relaxation, and got exfoliation scrub they sell to help with the waxing next time . The process was not the worst and she was very thorough. I will return in 3 weeks

I’ve been coming to Rio for about 6 years now and I’ve never been to the Cascade location my first time was amazinhg. I’ve never received a Brazilian Wax as amazing as I did from Joana. She was fast, gentle, pleasant and thorough. I recommend everyone to book with her! And you have to try the cocoa wax.

I am always pleased with this location. It’s best to set an appt but they will get you in. I love Joanna she also specializes in sugaring! She’s so professional oh and I love her room decor ha! She also recommended the exfoliating scrub they sale and at first I thought they were just trying to sell me something but honestly it works and I immediately saw a difference.

I was a few minutes early. The lady who u booked with was 15 minutes late bringing me back. When she was getting the wax, she didnt pit it in a cup like the other location. She pit hot wax under my arm and then appeared surprised when I flinched because it was too hot. Then she grabbed a handheld fan. Same thing under the other arm. When using the tweezers she was pulling my skin and not the little hairs. Bad experience, will not be going back to that location ever!

Omg! I love this place. It was so inviting and comfortable. I went to the Cascade RD location it was a great experience. I had a full face wax. Man when I telling you that they are great, theyre great. My face have never been so soft and bright, my eyebrows are perfect Im loving my experience. My eyebrows are thin so I dont get them done. When I used to get them done they be too thin or cut off at the ends and I be looking a hot mess, but Wendy did an amazing job I do recommend Rio body wax and recommend Wendy.

My first wax was done here and it was painful the first time but not as painful as I thought and the second time was a breeze in comparison. I think if you go every 4-6 weeks you’ll be fine. I absolutely love the results and so will your partner(s).

I love Rio Body Wax. However, I most likely won’t be returning this location. Wendy was the only person I let wax me until my previous appointment. The new lady was nice and offered me an upgraded service. However the price she told me was much less than the actual price!! I don’t appreciate this because it’s false advertisement. For this reason, I may not return but everything else was fine.

I go here every 5 weeks they are very professional and clean. I highly recommend.

They were decent. I went during Covid, of course, so there was not a wait. The appointments seemed to be scheduled very well. The receptionist/front desk was okay. I expected to have to more of a sign-in or something. The technician was nice and friendly. She did a good job. I wouldn’t recommend them for your very first visit because they don’t explain much about the process. However if you have had a wax before you shouldn’t have any problems.

I come here for waxing since its relatively close to my house. Normally i dont have any issues, its clean, the front desk is cordial, etc. I always make sure to book an appt especially since covid. Recently however, theyve started taking walk ins again and the last two times ive been I was 1 minute late and they made me wait. Not just a little but for like 30+ mins. I dont understand the point in having an appt if Ill be bumped for being late 60 seconds. Theres absolutely NO grace period so if youre coming here for an appt, be early or you will be booted.

Every time I come here I always had good experience. But this last time I went the lady who did my wax did not do a good job.

I finally found a person that I really liked and have been coming here for months until today when I came in for my appointment and the lady at the front desks says that Joanna was finishing up a client and she’d be 15 minutes behind. Rewinding back I heard her ask someone if they were ready. So they basically gave my appointment away and lied like they were just finishing up. They have ruined my trust and I will not return back to any of their locations.

I got a full body wax (was it’s the special) from Ellie, she was super sweet and walked me through the process in real-time. The shop is in the parking lot of cascade with the Wells Fargo, and it was easy to find. I hadn’t gotten a wax in around 1 year or so, but I will 100% be visiting this salon again for my future waxing needs. Ellie really was a joy!

My experience was amazing! Wendy was my wax tech. I called that morning & booked a same day appointment free of charge for 2:30 I walking in at 2:33 sadly & was nervous because I was unaware of their policies regarding time. As soon as I walked in & signed in I was immediately walked to my waxing room. I had told Wendy all about my bad experience with a prior tech & she assured me I would be fine. & it was great! The wax hurt slightly & was quick! I thanked Wendy & was sure to tip her at the end! I most definitely will be back to see her! Not only that, but we talked the entire time as well. The entire experience made me feel safe & relaxed. Not to mention how clean the place was!

(They lost a star)HERES WHAT HAPPENED TODAY:*Its the having me waste gas for me *Its the having me walk back to my car for a face mask when I was advised they’d provide one.*Its the offering to only complete half of the services promised*Its the not providing me with ALL open availabilities so I can reschedule*Its the possible walk-in that they accepted when I walked 2 my car because all of a sudden they wouldn’t have enough time to complete my full service*Its the attempting to reschedule me for only half of the services originally promised*** Heres the sad part I was gonna pay for the service & the add ons if all went well. ***DETAILS BELOW:Due to the miscommunication with pricing for services during my first appointment. I was offered a refund for the additional services & another appointment for the FULL BODY WAX. (Which was wonderful - I love the way my body feels) I called & informed them that I would be late & was advised to still come. I arrived 15 mins late. I asked the receptionist for a face mask & she says shell get me one from the back. Both aestheticians come out, lady with blonde hair announces that Im getting a free service for the prior inconvenience- they dont have any face masks in the back so I go to my car to get mine as Im walking out - the same lady oh were you late the receptionist yes, but she called & I told her to come - blonde haired lady oh ok ok I walk to my car & return. The receptionist oh Wanya has another appointment she wont be able to do the full body is it ok if she just does the Brazilian & underarms? My response: No thats not the service that I was promised. Ill just reschedule. Im asking her for all the possible availabilities instead of her just telling me & letting me choose from there. Its obvious the woman who called me wanted to make things right but the actual workers could careless about working for free. Im over this place. Im glad I waited til I got back to update. Mind you I’m walking around with hair under my arms waiting for this appointment smh & I leave for San Juan next week. Back to Nair I go.THIS WAS LAST MONTHS INITIAL EXPERIENCE:I experienced the Full Body Wax special. It was my first time so the discomfort was expected. What I did not appreciate is that they do not specify exactly what services are included. I was up sold as soon as I got in the room to use the Coco wax & told it was only $10 more. I inquired about having my chin & eyebrows waxed & Wania (my wax specialist) agreed YET she forgot to add that those services were NOT included in my special. The “coco wax” is $80 - which she also forgot to tell me so at the end I’m expecting a $75 bill & its $100 & the only thing they can tell me is she “forgot” ... at MY EXPENSE. I won’t be returning. What if I didn’t have the funds ? It’s the customer service & principle for me. It was painful she didn’t explain to me about the different types of waxes or sugars or NOTHING. I LEFT KNOWING JUST AS MUCH AS I WALKED IN ... total waste.

She works very quick but effective and she is gentle.then 6 weeks later I went back and did sugaring with was a lot less painful and faster. I love the results of sugaring because my skin is a lot smoother.

Stephanie was so professional and personable. We had great conversation which made the waxing experience much more bearable. She’s also super detailed so she makes sure there is no hair left behind. There was a pretty long wait the day I went but she was very apologetic but the overall experience made it worth the wait.

Less pain and quicker recovery time. The Cocoa helps protect the skin and provides a heat barrier. I use to go to campcreek to get my services but tbh I hate all the traffic so I was thrilled when one opened on cascade(not as much traffic as CC) Joanna is very professional, personable, and most of all knowledgeable! She knows her craft she’s the only one I will go to from now on! Period! I went to another much younger lady before she was ok but I would always seem to have a lot of ingrown hairs when she waxed me. I think she needs a little more training and she’ll be ok ☺️ But anyways JOANNA JOANNA JOANNA ..you will not be disappointed! She keeps “Miss Kitty” in 1st place ..after all she is a Show cat 😜

This is my first time at this location. I went to this location December 24, 2019. Stephanie was very nice. She does just the right amount of talking during the process to make one more comfortable and relaxed. She makes you feel comfortable with her great conversation. This was my second time getting wax in my life. The first time I got wax was at they other location on Camp Creek (the one on camp creek I still had hair). I got a Brazilian wax and she did a great job (no hair). I didn’t know this location even existed. I just found out a week ago about this location. It was time I just had a baby four months ago. The receptionist was nice as well. I enjoy coming here. They were so welcoming and warm upon arrival and even though my appointment was for 1:30pm. I arrived early (around 1:10pm) and they were able to accommodate me. Everyone is professional and friendly. This is a clean facility and the waxes was thorough, quick, and a little pain. Ive had a good experience at this location. I can tell that everyone is trained pretty well with pain management. The staff was very friendly. Clean, professional staff and great prices. I was very relaxed and comfortable. I will be coming back again. Will definitely be back in 4 weeks! Thanks ladies. Wish I could give you more than 5 stars.. Ask for Stephanie
