I moved from the Carrington Green Luxury Apartments in McDonough, Georgia managed by Atlantic Pacific Properties a few weeks ago. I had one of the most unprofessional exchanges with the assistant property manager - Christine Hines - who charged me $409 to replace carpet because the carpet vendor recommended it to be replaced. Everybody knows vendors want to make a quick dollar. I called her out on the BS charge, then she quickly became defensive. I emailed and called the corporate office multiple times to file a complaint since August 4, 2021. No one has returned my call nor has anymore replied to my email. At this point, I will accept the loss because its apparent they do not handle situations professionally. I did not have anything negative to things to say while living on the property my first two years, the last year during the pandemic was ridiculous. Loud music/noises all time of the night, weed smoke comes through the vents, and what made matters worse was the office failed to resolve these issues. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIVE ON A PROPERTY MANAGED BY ATLANTIC PACIFIC, PERIOD!!!Update: I called the Carrington Green Luxury apartments in McDonough, GA multiple times since Monday, August 16, 2021. The phone keeps ringing with no voice-mail. The property manager has not attempted to contact at all. She is a LIAR and very deceitful!
Living in Brookwood Valley currently. Most unprofessional living experience Ive ever had in my life. Leaving my review here as well as this management company NEVER answers the phone. Left messages, never received a call back. What is wrong with you people??? Anyway, here it is:DO NOT MOVE HERE, SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS. Promise you the neighborhood is not even worth it.Where do I start?Management company are the most unprofessional people I have ever came across in my life. Julian was extremely rude the entire move in process even though it was HIS fault I received the wrong unit. He guaranteed me that my unit did not have carpet. Walked into the unit for the first time after driving 10 hours to move here, carpet everywhere. He wasnt even an ounce apologetic and was actually being nasty instead.AJ, also another completely unprofessional person.. they give jobs to anyone in this city cause Im almost 100% sure this man has zero background in leasing/real estate/anything really. Every month they will charge you random fees that they literally MAKE UP. When I transferred into my correct unit after a month of living here, they STOLE my entire deposit for the first apartment and made me pay another one for double the price. I asked where the deposit money went for the first unit... they lied and told me made up fees. Not to mention they charged me other fees for the transfer even though it was THEIR fault and they said they would not do that. The apartments are extremely outdated. ROACHES EVERYWHERE along with other bugs. If you have to have pest control come every single week, thats a red flag and you need to have actual professionals not random small unreliable companies come and fix the issue. Garbage is always overflowing.WATER always stopping. Literally cant even flush the toilets when it happens. Why do yall think thats okay?? There are small children in the complex.. WATER IS NEEDED.Internet stopped working for an entire WEEK. Do they not understand were in a pandemic? People work from home. People go to school from home. I did not see one AT&T person at our complex working on the issue the entire week.Youre paying all these fees for amenities that dont even work. Gate has been broken since I moved here. Pool has been closed. They say they have trash service and they let the bags sit outside ppls doors for DAYS. Which probably leads to even more pests.Feeling so much regret for not reading the reviews before I decided to sign a lease here. Even their replies to ppls reviews are RUDE. Calling the city to make several complaints. If I were the management company, Id be super embarrassed by the reviews. Not one decent human being in that office.
I loved working and living at Sloan square I wish I could come back
I really love how Jessica Gonzales has worked with me during the hiring process, always available and pleasant to answer my questions, I am very excited to become part of a great family/company Atlantic Pacific, and I look forward to do great business, thank you Agustin Torres and Rebecca Brown for a great opportunity!
I have been calling corporate multiple times a day, leaving messages, nobody returns my phone call. I have reported unsafe living conditions. Apparently nobody cares. I am being harassed by my downstairs neighbor. I fear for my safety, my sons safety and my dogs safety while I am at work. Nobody has helped me and that is unacceptable. I live at the Atlantic Medlock Bridge. If you have a family or pets, DONT LIVE HERE.
If someone would reach out, that would be great. I cant get any response from corporate. I lived at Shiloh Valley Overlook.
The point at preston ridge in alpharetta is not good for living the maintenance is bad I moved to a three bedroom apartment badly painted the curtains with mold I curse the time I rent with this company and the xaronque charge do not stay with this Atlantic company pacific management the cervisi is of poor quality you have no spare parts to fix things take them from vacant apartments 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Thanks you Jessica for helping me with a great Career you are the best.
Extremely professional company! Two thumbs up!
I have been trying to contact them for almost a month now. They are trying to overcharge me, and talking to my leasing office would be a waste of time. Lawyer is next step.
This company has thee absolute worst customer service you can imagine. First, Id like to start by saying I am a current resident at Sloan Place Apartments. I submitted a form for my lease renewal to the leasing office. Our management team changed shortly after that. I never received a new lease, however, I was under the assumption that my lease was renewed because I did what I was supposed to do on my end. WRONG. Fast forward to mid-October, and I received another letter for renewal at higher rate. That is when I discovered my renewal was never processed, and that the company had me paying a month-to-month rate. When I discovered it in mid-october I immediately called the APM, who at this time was Rae Ana Hall. She stated that she would inform Chris Turner who is the PM of the property. Chris was informed. I sent emails, and called Chris numerous times to get the situation squared away. I was told I would get a call back...another time I was told Corporate would be at the property the next day, and Chris was to settle my account during their visit. Fast forward to the beginning of November, and rent is now due. I wasnt sure what to pay because the situation was not handled. I finally got ahold of Chris again to ask him the amount to pay to which he stated he was still working with corporate to fix my account, and at this time to pay the amount posted online in full, and that he would credit me any overages that I was due. Welp, that never happened. When it was time to pay rent in December that is when I put 2+2 together and realized Chris had NEVER reached out to his Regional Manager or Corporate for that matter. I sat in his office and watched as he faxed all of the paper trail to his Regional Mgr on 12/6. I was seeking for my original lease end date, and the original amount I signed off to renew for. I was told by the REGIONAL MANAGER (so unprofessional by the way) whose name is Amanda Grissom, that the Tenant should take some responsibility in making sure they are on a lease. As a tenant that is not responsibility. My responsibility as a TENANT was to submit the form back to the office, which I did. The ball was dropped by the people that Atlantic Pacific pays bi-weekly to perform the duties of their Job description which entails ensuring residents are on a lease! I am currently waiting to hear from the Portfolio Manager, Sharon Donley, or someone from within the corporate office. PLEASE do not waste your money with this management company or at this particular property in general. There are a lot of nicer apartments within the buckhead/brookhaven area that give you better amenities, cleaner exterior of the property, and a more pleasurable management team for the same IF NOT BETTER market value. Do your research. I have had infestations of roaches...broken appliances...poor heat circulation...and the list goes on...aside from the poor job of the staff. Again, please save your time and money. Trust me, there are a lot of other things I could have been doing besides typing such a long review, but this is outrageous.
***Update 1/4/2017: So, still living in the same apartment complex owned by Atlantic Pacific. Still have six months of my lease. I am now uncomfortable living in the community. There is no security. Loud parties and people yelling in the parking lot keep me up constantly. Kids roll blunts and smoke them, leave piles of trash on my stairwell. Packages are constantly stolen. What are you going to do Atlantic Pacific?***Update: The management company did contact me. Nothing happened. I demanded some form of compensation, they stopped talking to me. This company has the worst customer service.Horrid company. They manage an apartment community I live in, Ashley Forest Apartments in Alpharetta, GA. Currently they are upgrading the units, cutting down tons of pretty trees, renovating the club house (has been shut down for months), among other things.I moved into a semi renovated kitchen and the bathroom had a new counter. The kitchen has cute little subway tiles. That is the only good thing I can say about the apartment. The kitchen drawers were not installed properly. They stick and are very crooked. All appliances in kitchen are very dated. When I moved in, the unit I was shown was nothing like the unit I moved into. As I said, the kitchen looks jacked up, like a two year old renovated it. My dishwasher, stove and fridge did not work. No running water in the kitchen and a huge leak under the bathroom sink. It took weeks to fix most of this. Still do not have a working stove. They replaced the fridge with a dated model that they spray painted. Every time they come into my apartment they track in mud and grease. Needless to say, my new carpet is ruined. I still have several maintenance requests opened, that have been open for months. There are many hidden fees. I am furious that residents are still paying property fees for amenities we cannot even use. Pool is pretty, but rarely open and is not cleaned very well. No work out room. No pest control. We are charged for all of this. And yes, there is a bug problem within the entire property. I actually paid someone to spray my apartment, even though I pay a monthly pest fee. My rent of $878 after fees is almost $1,000.
If I could give a Zero I would. This place is less than satisfactory. The company cares nothing about their properties.
Do not live on any of their properties. They are unprofessional, disrespectful and disorganized.
This is the saddest excuse for a property management group Ive ever encountered. The properties they manage tend to have lower rent, but that comes with a cost. Incompetence, hidden fees, and lack of responsibility for damages incurred by contractors hired by the management company WILL happen if you live on their properties. They also have a habit of buying properties, hiring the cheapest construction companies around for renovations (which amount to surface-level paintovers), then turning around and selling the property to other management companies. While in the short-term going with a company like this may seem like a good idea, future you will thank you for not going through the hassle of living on one of Atlantic Pacifics properties.Should you have the need to actually reach a property manager, you can bank on getting the run around until you physically walk into the leasing office to find the employee that had been dodging your call. Even then, getting them to respond to a follow-up email or phone call will be a pain.
We have lived at Brookwood Valley apartments for 9 years and are moving for reasons to do with the new management, increased violence and leasing to criminals (discovered through mugshots and an in home invasion). Last month our notice was turned in and our last date of occupancy is next Thursday, August 15.Today (Friday August 9) we received notice of renovations to begin on Tuesday the 13th when the water will be shut off. Our place is full of boxes and they have known when we will move and they even prorated the rent through the 15th. The list of things to prepare is ridiculous in this short amount of time even without moving during this. I am disabled and need water for things like taking meds and bathing for appointments. We will also not be able to get the apartment in the condition they require and feel we will be charged when he is preventing usNow I have to stress about doing everything Monday the 12th and they aren’t even in the office today for a company function. I do not feel this is right especially having paid through the 15th already (as well as the previous 108 months) and fear losing our deposit since we will be unable to finish our part of the contract. This has turned the short time until our move into worry and doubt and feel targeted after complaints made since our end of vacancy was spelled out last month and now are being forced out early or else pay their penalty of $500.00! This is wholly unfair and I really need some help sorting this, help they refuse to provide.***correction. Our notice was turned in JUNE 14th, meaning for almost two months our moving dates were in their hands!! Today is 3 days before we begin moving. An earlier review mentioned a woman in the office looking at her like she had two heads. This is probably the “assistant manager” who was unable to answer a simple lease question and despite writing my name and unit# 5 different times never once passed the message along to someone who could help, but that reason seems to be apparent.
Wish I could rate them 0. They r worst in managing property and closing false service requests. Living in Preston ridge is living in like hell. Full of roaches. Doors and drawers broken, toilets clogged and unnecxaunne charges. Property manager is also not co- operative and dont let us even leave this property with lease breaking penalty. Neither she is able to fix any of the issues and always making false commitments and then herself moving away from it.
Talked to the most disrespectful woman Ive ever met named Kristy or Christy. I or anyone in my family would never rent from this property managment company in San Antonio. Beyond terrible. Look elsewhere for a apartment while shes working their.
They hire terrible and rude staff. The staff at The Atlantic Loring Heights is a complete joke and criminal. Better Business Bureau will be in touch with you guys shortly. I will not stand for this.
Update: 15 unanswered phone calls...emailed regional Ginger Ashton no response had someone from customer service in Florida email her no response!Update: 6 more phone calls and messages still no call back!I would just like a phone call back concerning my issues with my apartment that dont seemed to be getting resolved. Ive sent email and left messages. Ive called at all times a day and they literally never pick up the phone. If youre reading this Atlanta Pacific I would love a phone call back.
I only give it one star because I have to. Just try calling the number good luck getting anyone on the phone or even a call back. This is the most pathetic excuse for a management company I have ever seen, but somehow they won a community of excellence award in Florida. Here in Georgia they just let their residents have an open freon leak inside for over a year, and when they finally fix it, all of a sudden, it never even happened.
I am being harassed by management. If it does not stop there will be a law suit .
This management company owns Rock Creek at Ashford and they are a horrible. Weve been here since 2014 and had no issues prior to Atlantic Pacific. The manager on site, Debbie, is very incompetent. You sign the proper documents and then she tries to tell you something different via phone or email. Reaching someone from the corporate office is like trying to find Waldo. They will not even give your the regional managers email. They try to appear upscale in price like the other apartments in Brookhaven but dont even come close. Parking is scarce and the repairs and workmanship is lackluster. There are no real amenities here except a pool. Rent from any of the other apartment community on Ashford Dunwoody or behind Blackburn park and Im sure your experience will supass anything Rock Creek at Ashford and Atlantic Pacific can provide.
Currently screaming internally at myself for allowing these people to fool me into thinking a couple of extra square feet of space would offset the PLETHORA of problems going on with these units. I cannot believe these people are still in business. Theyre downright atrocious. Honestly, live anywhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE BUT AT ONE OF THEIR PROPERTIES!
9/28/20- Update as of 1:30pm- The RM contacted me back and has taken the appropriate steps to hopefully resolve the issue. I am updating my rating to a 3 stars because of this. I will update again once I see a follow through from the leasing office and the neighbors vacate. Thank you to the RM for her assistance thus far.9/28/20- 7:00am- Our neighbors at the Atlantic Vinings constantly smoke marijuana. It comes into my daughters room and bathroom. She is 5 an has severe asthma. After the police came this morning, the neighbor started banging on my door, slamming doors, threatening me and yelling profanity. I sent some of the videos to the leasing office and the RM for Atlantic Pacific.I am tired of people who break the laws, the lease, the rules and them being allowed to get away with it.I call the police, the courtesy officer, the leasing office. What else can I do?Do something for someone who pays their rent on time during a pandemic. Someone who has lived in your complex for 4 years without incident or complaint.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH 1 YEAR RENTAL OF VILLAS AT SOUTH POINTTHEY WILL DO EVERYTHING THE CAN TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR EVERY PENNY POSSIBLE, TRY TO GET YOU TO ACCEPT ANY EXPLANATION THEY WISH TO GIVE,& GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE LITTLE THEIR CUSTOMERS.
They will nickle and dime you with hidden fees. They dont keep the materials on hand or the staff needed to maintain their older properties.
Don’t live in their apartments.
Poor property management.
This company ignored the reportsFor repairs that residents do, the complex is not clean. They are only interested in having their apartments rented. The worst management I have seen
