They hired me and they took four months to tell me I was not available for rehire. I never worked there to be considered a rehire. Then they said that something is in my background preventing me from being scheduled. I asked what it was and they couldn’t tell me. I asked for a copy of this information and they said they had already given me one “which they hadn’t” they were rude and unprofessional. I’ve worked for the post office and the Census bureau. I worked for the airport and took fingerprints twice. If there was something in my background it would have shown up a long time ago. They’re liars! I’m seeing all these bad reviews and I’m grateful they didn’t hire me. This would have probably stressed me out. Terrible people!

Unify hard my son as a wheelchair assistance my son has a disability he would be a great wheelchair assistance.They never even gave him a chance to prove his self confident. I dont understand why companies big is unify/ Delta dont have jobs to meet the needs a person with a disability what a reasonable accommodation.I was just like everybody to write in to unify/Delta Air line and tell him to hire Eric!

I worked here not for long during the summer it wasnt the best job we have to walk to planes and clean them but that was no problem it was the fact all these new hires were coming in and getting given long sleeve shirts in the middle of summer after 2 weeks I ask about short sleeve shirts and they said they hadnt come in yet and that was fine I guess but it wasnt fine when it was 96 and feeling like 99 outside and i have to go home because i am dehydrated and we are walking everywhere so I started going and asking every week for a short sleeve shirt for about a month and a half everytime no they havent come in until I had to leave because of an illness that made it very tiring to walk anywhere I tried to wait the illness out and call out but no one ever answered the phone and the inbox was full so I couldnt leave a message so I would call my manager and he would say call the call out line when I tried to explain the inbox was full and I didnt want to be fired for not being there he said someone will get it and hung up

They do have a bad habit of not being honest and in addition to they dont answer calls or call you back.Dont understand why Cyril was the best option for the company as I thought Delta had high expectations for everyone but since were just contractors I guess it doesnt matter.Were just another number. DGS does not fill there full-time job opportunities with people of color (African Americans/Blacks) those jobs as quietly as its kept go to their (White) in experienced candidates.

Im a Diamond Medallion Delta customer, fly them frequently, and usually pay full fare for the first or business class cabin. Delta does as good a job as any other major American airline, and I find that most of their employees I deal with at check-in and on the airplane try their best to offer good customer service with the limited tools theyve been given. Having paid that compliment, I will add that Deltas baggage handling services are NOT SECURE. Ive discovered several times after a trip that my bag has been gone through but not by TSA which always leaves a card to announce their presence. Medicines will be out of their zip lock containers as if a hurried search for drugs was carried out. Its disconcerting to know that baggage handlers have the freedom and opportunity to search bags at will. I would also add that baggage handling in general seems to be a low priority for Delta and the rest. I recently had a flight cancelled due to a mechanical failure and somehow both my bags (with the big bright Sky Priority tags) were shipped off to other cities not even on my itinerary. The bar codes were not scanned so no one could find them until one bag showed up on carousel #5 in Detroit and the other has yet to be found. It just cant be that hard...UPS and FEDEX get it right a million times a day.Update 10/2018: Delta has spent millions improving their baggage handling operations and it shows. Much better tracking abilities that you can follow right on the App.

Baggage didnt arrive on time. Wasnt delivered during THREE days and still not... No communication available with live person in charge. Automatic system report showing baggage delivered while it is not. E-mail correspondence come back once in 24h with automated reply, which makes no sense...from headquarters and baggage claim representative who has no copy on record.... useless calling to Atlanta, GA since they do not know what is going on in San Francisco and unable to help..looks like they are overloaded with similar problem - it means you can expect it all the time....Better to avoid flying Delta as much as possible

Very loyal Delta customer now for many years. I think its interesting how almost all the reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star, which indicates extreme emotional response at the time of the review. Our culture has a very s easily offended attitude these days. Its a big company and thats why customers get lost in the cracks, unfortunately, hence 1 star off. That being said, I have flown on hundreds of flights all over the world and consistently have had some of the best service from Delta. I also had the most kind customer service rep on the phone help us when we had a death in the family and he helped us reroute our trip several years ago to be able to go to the funeral. He was genuine and compassionate. That goes a long way with me. If the price difference is less than $100 compared to other airlines, I chose Delta.

Delta Air Lines is an excellent American-based carrier. Delta consistently ranks among the top air carriers in independent polls. Like any carrier, there will be delays, mechanical difficulties, lost luggage, and other issues, but Delta has always worked hard to provide good customer service consistent with safety and ethical business practices. No doubt there will be those who have had a bad experiences and will disagree with my rating, but being a long-term air traveller I have significant experience with many carriers. All carriers are subject occasional issues, but Delta has consistently handled such issues with superior customer service and professional aplomb.

This is speaking to Delta Global Staffing as a staffing firm, not Delta as an airline. Within the past couple of years, Ive applied for multiple jobs that I was very qualified for. Unfortunately, 90% of my calls and emails went unanswered. In my attempts of follow up, Ive emailed talent acquisition specialist, recruiting and hiring managers, you name it. How are you a staffing firm but ignoring candidates reaching out? Additionally, I applied for a position, minutes later I was asked to complete a video interview. Attempting to access the interview, I was met with an error message stating that the interview had yet to been set up. After 2 days and no responses, the interview was still not set up, yet I received a thanks but no thanks letter. How? I never interviewed. This makes me question a separate video interview I did, and 2 days later received a similar letter. Did anyone ever view it? Probably not. Stay away from DGS very unorganized, very unprofessional.

LOVE Delta, and fly with them all the time for business. I have been delayed a number of times, but always taken care of. A bad weather delay held us overnight recently, and Delta promptly put me up in a lovely hotel including dinner and breakfast, and I was put onto the earliest flight out the next morning. In addition, they put me on a direct flight back to LA when I was delayed because of a mechanical issue and I was supposed to be going via another city. Never had anything to complain about... great work Delta, see you next week!

Deltas customer service is horrible!!!! They dont know how to treat people. The employees working at delta are so damn rude and racist. Specially the supervisor who works at LGA name Melissa. She has this bitchy attitude. Excuse my language. If you are in a suit and you are white they are willing to help you out but if you are of any other skin color they will not do anything. Ive seen with my own eyes if the agents want they will take off $$ hundreds of dollars off but if they dont want they wont do anything for you. Specially for the ones who are in need. Hey Delta, how about you find ways to confirm reimbursement of a taxi fare, when youre plane breaks (Causing 2 hour delays) and your customers lose their original mode of transportation to or from the airport. Favorite line from a phone supervisor As a supervisor, I can only give you the name or mailing address of our corporate headquarters. I cant do anything more. ---- I think you may be overpaying your supervisors. If you need someone to just share your corporate phone number and address, Id be happy to do it at a fraction of what you pay your phone supervisors.

I currently work for this company and they have no problem lying. I first got hired in mid January of this year but then they pushed me back the hire date till April. Then 4 days into training they pulled me and the rest of our class out of training and made us do cleaning for 2 weeks even through we were hired and badge to work as wheelchair agents. We were told that we would be paid a extra $100 per week for doing it and when one member of the class asked what if we dont want to do the cleaning since we were not hired to do that type of work, he was told to leave your badge and maybe you would be called back at a later class, by the director wow!!! I dont think that I need to tell you that we HAVE NOT received the promised $100 extra per week and dont look like we EVER WILL!!!!! Some members of HR will treat you in not the best manner either and lack being professional in my opinion. And once you start working they like to pull you to do other jobs that is not under your job title and wont pay the hourly rate for that job which is against the law!!!!! The job itself is not bad when they leave you alone and let you do that job everyday and some of the Supervisor have in my opinion mental issues and dont know how to speak to people, just ghetto!!!! Why cant African Americans NEVER seem to do right by each other when we do have the POWER and the NUMBERS in a workplace or anything else for the most part?????

I would suggest that you get some type of warehousing, logistics, transportation, supply chain experience etc.... before applying here. Do not apply if you are a drug addict they will give you a drug test and you will NEVER EVER be able to work for them due to strict FAA regulations. This was told to me by my recruiter. The pay for some jobs isnt the best, but if you deal with it for awhile stay out of trouble you can get your foot in the door with Delta Airlines (lots of ppl start off as ramp agents). DGS does offer insurance and flight benefits along with many other perks. You will not necessarily be working for Delta but for other airlines & aviation companies. It can be very difficult to get in contact with the recruiters and ppl in the office as they are busy and have lots of things going on at the worlds busiest airport.But with determination and patience you may get a call/email from them. Once I got my foot in the door with them it was hell at first, the SIDA badge is frustrating, but afterwards its smooth sailing. This is contracted work by the way so once your contract is up you may have to find a new job. They will reach out to you about jobs after youre in thier database. Because its easier to use a former employee as its less work on HR by not having to find someone new. But do your best to communicate with them and watch your emails/phone.

Only worked for DGS for a month in 2005 pay was terrible only 2 dollars above minimum wage and we had to unload, taxi, clean the planes. I assumed they had a cleaning crew they said no it is you. I made $7.70 an hour for a baggage job and minimum wage was $5.15.

First time and last time Im flying Delta my plane was supposed to leave at 22.00 now is leaving at 8 am the next day at the time I was supposed to be arriving at my destination. ...if you are over 67 tall forget about being comfortable in my car I get more space tiny little plane staff is alright but like I said I will never use this airline ever again .....I will stay with LAN.

Not really one to complain, but this time I have to share my experiences so that it doesnt happen to another. We recently had a bad experience with Delta and they were very negligent with our case!! Im currently still going back and forth with them and its been almost 3month!! They lost our luggage, and they are resistant in reimbursing us. We have provided all that they asked for as far as receipts and inventory goes, and they are just now telling us that they can only give us back a quarter of what we lost, even with all the valid documents they requested. They also had a delay in flight for my husbands ticket, and they didnt care to do much for him. He missed a wedding that he had to internationally fly for and they brushed it off like it was nothing. I expected better from Delta, but I guess my expectation were too high. I thought they went above and beyond for their customers, but frankly, they only do the bare minimum. I am tired of communicating with people who are not qualified to handle my case, please refer me to someone who can.

Only at this airport are the people working at delta so horrible. The ladies at the stand were not helpful at all, were mean and it felt like they were drunk on their power. You know, give a little person a tiny bit of power, like being able to hold people back and make them miss their flight (because they didnt like me), and it just blows their mind and they go crazy abusing it. Gross. I like the delta flights themselves, the personnel on the planes, even their food and drinks. But these ladies at the Atlanta terminal are what ruins this company for me.

They have the worst customer service ever. No one can help you over the phone and no one will give you to a manager or supervisor. I was on my trip for over a week and never got my bag. It just sat at the airport and they would not deliver it to me. I can not image how a company operates in this manner. I will never use delta again and I suggest you dont use them either. Ill be contacting an attorney on a number of issues with them. If you do have a complaint have fun wait over a month to get it taken care of.

This is a horrible company! I thought it may have been just me but I have spoken to numerous veterans and they have the same experience with this company. You can never get any feedback on applications and the job never seems to get filled even if you meet he qualifications. Im not a HR person but from my understanding this violates EEOC rules. Guess because they are delta and Atlanta revolves around them they can violate any rule and treat everyone any way they want.

Horrible. I was seated in seat 21E, on a flight from LAX to ATL this morning, the middle seat. The passenger at the window seat was too big for her seat, we couldnt put down the armrest and she had to share my seat. The flight was sold out so i couldnt move. She slept like a baby and i had a miserable flight.

I had an assigned seat due to a disability. Upon arrival the check in representatives decided to change my seat. I was assigned a seat that did not provide me with the ability to prevent a potential health hazard. All I received was excuses. No respect is given to individuals who have assigned seats. Can be changed at whim of person checking you in. Havent flown them in a while. Will stick with American next time.

You well see my reviews on google, yelp...whatever forum I can commit on. Yet, they will be sane, objective diatribes...lol. I had a pleasant 20 months of travel with Delta but the last two months have been epic, so if you are looking for a root cause perhaps some policies were changed recently? Either way, I will request not to fly Delta for CY12. Adding to the irony my non-profit would always buy the cheapest ticket and I would add my own money to the fly on Delta to think I would pay extra for such poor service. When things went well i took the time to thank your staff and when things went poorly I took the time to complain. Delta you were not there when I needed you...you did not step up and for that I will take my tens of thousand of dollars travel budget elsewhere.

Flight yesterday was fine from LAX to ATL to GSP but my new luggage handle was broken and my luggage is scratched beyond repair! When I went to Delta at GSP they refused to fill out a damage claim and said handles are broken all the time. Thank you Delta for charging me $25 to destroy my expensive luggage!!

I hate Delta with a passion, my family missed our vacation and ruined all our plans because delta is the worst airline in the world! - we checked in the kiosk 1:30 hour before the flight it said we need to see an agent and they made me stand in a line for 1:30 hours then told us we missed the flight as their check off time was 1 hour before the flight, so had I jumped the line and went straight to a desk they would have issued our boarding pass but instead we waited in a stupid flight and the employees really could care less that they had no other flights for that day, they charged us an additional $700 for a next day flight. They are a**holes, liars and bastards for not caring about paying customers. Just goes to show you should never be respectful w delta and wait in line, cut the line go straight to their desk and get your boarding pass dont be a sheep. Delta go F yourself!

According to Adam Saleh, they were expelled from the airplane because of speaking Arabic. “We didn’t know what to do. We felt like we were terrorists.” Mr. Saleh said in the interview.At this point, I dont know if they were being noisy or just kicked out because of Arabic, but according to NYTimes this is not the first time a situation were non-american people are expelled from the plane comes up in an American Airline (i.e. American Airlines with an Italian man and Southwest Airlines with an Arabic college student and an Arabic woman who asked for switching seats)

They wouldnt let me sit next to my travel partner because the lady representative wouldnt assist me. The plane smelled like someone dropped a deuce with the door open. Due to extremely heavy call volume Delta hangs up when calling their toll free reservation telephone number. Couldnt get through to a customer service agent. So I called Expedia and canceled my flights. Thankfully, Expedia allowed 1 complimentary cancellation.Buyer beware, Delta is not what they use to be. Call their reservations first to see if you can really reach someone, could be worse if youre standing in a terminal waiting to board a flight that was delayed or canceled.

Terrible service, on my return flight from vegas they wanted a passport to board, i was not leaving the country, would not refund the money to buy another flight. Ended up losing the $400 on the original ticket and had to buy another one for $500 to get back home, DONT FLY DELTA!!!!

Im sure a lot of folks use social media when they dont get their way as a means of getting their way. Id like to share my story because it so unbelievably nonsensical to me, that I cannot believe it. I purchased two tickets for my fiancé and I for our honeymoon less than a week ago for April 2014. There was no option to book from Punta Cana to Honolulu as one trip, so I booked a Delta 8am flight to Atl and then a Delta flight to Honolulu that was departing at 1:40pm. A few days later, I get an email saying the 8am flight is now departing at 2:35pm!! I call Delta and they are willing to refund the first flight, but will not refund the second. The second flight leaves at 1:40pm, and the first flight is now not even departing until 2:35pm. I spoke with two supervisors; Constance out and Shawanda out of their Cincinnati call center. Both were courteous, but unwilling to use discretion with regards to their policy. I find this ridiculous for two reasons: Its the change in schedule of their first flight that is now making it impossible for me to catch their second flight, and the fact that this is an April 2014 flight, giving them plenty of time to resell those seats. Its unbelievable that the company does not empower their people to use discretion when there are extenuating circumstances. Just on principle, I am so frustrated and irritated with Delta for refusing to work with me by refunding my purchase a mere 5 days after it was consummated and more than 6 months before the date of the flight that I will swear not to use them as an airline option for my family and I, and I will use my professional position to communicate my anecdote as an example of poor unilateral business policy and a seeming lack of understanding of the importance of empowering your employees to make decisions when youre in a service industry and have the audacity to name a department customer care.

Hate it so much. So I was flying to Atlanta on Delta and had my backpack with me and my suitcase was off the plane and I got off. Then, my flight to Alabama got canceled. So, my mother and I were stuck in atl for an hour or two. Then, when I got on the plane and flew with my mom to Alabama, It was about 7:30 pm. At about 8pm, we landed at the Mobile airport and met up with my moms friend. Then we went to look for my bag. We found my moms bag but we couldnt find mine. So we went to baggage claim and they said it was on the other plane from atlanta comming to mobile and they said that they would have my bag delevered to the house I was staying in. Then, they said it will be dropped off at around 9pm. So, I woke up in the morning and asked where my bag was and said that It wasnt here. So now I dont think I can trust Delta anymore.

Very poor service and racist every time I have a layover in ATL the black women HATE white people. I was flying standby since 7am. waiting and gate agent Cheryl C. Let another standby (black) man that just walked up have the seat instead. This had happened to me on several occasions. If I were black I wouldve been on that plane.

So missed a flight the other day - called up the airline with the express purpose of getting it rescheduled. Figured thered be some kind of you are a dork for missing the flight charge - which should be expected. I was frankly shocked...they rep on the other end of the line actually wanted to charge me for another ticket PLUS $50. Never did find out what the extra $50 was for - because as I was waiting on hold in between short snippets of conversation (for a total of 50 minutes) I was able to book another flight to my destination for only a 1/3 of the price Delta wanted to charge me on SouthWest. After I got the final price tag - I had to tell the rep to get bent and indicated that while she had me hold I already booked another airline for considerably less. Moral of the story? Delta doesnt care if you are a customer - so you shouldnt care if they go out of business. Sure SouthWest rarely has direct flights, but at least they care about their customers and dont charge $50 for a bag (I mean seriously you expect me to go 1000 miles away for a week and stay in the same clothes?).

Beware of booking Delta!! Just because you payed for a ticket doesnt mean youre actually getting on the flight! They oversold multiple fights on 4th of July weekend. I booked a month in advance and was bumped off my flight with no compensation and had to book another flight myself. Huge fiasco many people stuck in the airport.
